Nassarawa State Gov Says Govs Stealing Public Funds Need Deliverance...

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has declared that no governors have no justification to steal public funds. As a matter of fact, he declared that anyone indulging in such an act requires divine intervention and God’s deliverance.

He made this disclosure during the closing ceremony of the 23rd National Quranic Recitation Competition. The competition was organised by the Jamaatul Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Ikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) on Saturday in Lafia.

The Nasarawa State Governor affirmed that governors occupy a privileged position. Further, he disclosed that they were well provided for. Therefore, he noted that only governors without a true knowledge of God would steal public funds.

“Any person who is a governor and is stealing public funds, then such a person is in need of God’s deliverance. When I assumed office as governor, I realised that only those who have no true knowledge about God could steal or that their major preoccupation is to steal public funds,” Sule declared.
