The Presidential Election Petition Court had earlier ruled that the Atiku and his party do not have a reply to an application filed in May by the All Progressives Congress seeking the dismissal of the case challenging Buhari’s victory in the presidential election.
Ruling on the appeal on Tuesday, a five-man panel of the Supreme court led by Justice Datijo Mohammed, stated that the appeal had become statute barred, and hence struck it out.
He shouldn't to have bother to appeal because obviously he was going to lose
ReplyDeleteIf he did not appeal how are his lawyers going to chop extra dough from him? He shd have just forgotten about it knowing fully well the kind of people he is dealing with.
DeleteIts an appeal of a "ruling" gave by the Election Tribunal (which happened back in August by the way), not of the entire case of which judgment was given just last month...
DeleteThe Notice of Appeal against the judgment was filed in September.

ReplyDeleteAtiku first misfired by giving Buhari his conditions for accepting defeat after election results was announced. It gave APC the initial moral grounds to wipe him off. Atiku knew he lost that election, he was just trying to manipulate the antibuhari anger to buy time through a pseudo court process
ReplyDeleteEnter your reply...If Atiku lost,so who are the people who vote Buhari??Stop supporting evil,is this the Nigeria that you want to hand over to your children and your children's children??
DeleteAtiku Abubakar I know you may visit this blog...Stop jumping parties like a kangaroo...PDP and APC have a common denominator of deceiving people..It is time to leave politics...PDP loves your money more than you...It has been you alone on this lonely path...
