Donated Vitamin Angels supplements will be sent to all of the NPS's 9 zonal HQs for further distribution to all prisons and staff barracks within the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
On October 3rd, the initial donation of Albendazole for 27,000 children, Vitamin A 100,000 IU of 20,000 children, Vitamin A 200,000 IU for 27,000 children and Prenatal vitamins for 550 women were received by Assistant Controller Hasauna Kori (Head of Health & Social Welfare) on the behalf of the Controller-General of Corrections.
Princess Modupe Ozolua appreciated Dr Francis, Mr Suleiman, Mrs Abiola and the entire Vitamin Angels team for being stakeholders in this initiative and also thanked the Empower 54 team for working hard to make the partnership a reality.
