  5. Both of them are sown and put moreover the friendship and relationship will never be the same ever again.. I will be so wary of a friend Male or female who tears me down publicly with personal stuffs like that . We won't be enemies but I will be wary

  6. This is so lovely. God's blessings on both Iyanya and Ubi... Shame to trolls and bitter people who feed endlessly on negativities. They come online and promote quarells and strife among celebs yet their lives are in a mess. These bbn housemates are their latest victims. Fanning wars and their hate among them.

    1. Anon 19:22, God bless u. I pity these BBN fans. Royal Hair posted CeeC, Tacha & Mercy’s pics on their page, eulogizing them as their ambassadors, these fans still went their to fight , over 2,000 comments, some even threatened not to buy their products bcoz of who they don’t like among them. Who does that? U guys will be here when they’ll go for shoots together, chatting away. Terrible!

    2. It's is Mercys fans ranting and raving since Tacha was announced as Ambassador too. I wonder why that should be a prob if d coy is able to pay them all. They 've threatened not to buy the coys products and all sorts if vile abuse even on One. Just for facetiming Tacha. I really dnt get this.

  7. He has tried don jazzy and he has seen it's not easy for a record label to bring out millions to shoot music video and promote wack songs so dude has mellowed. It's all good

  9. This is why I believe in “never say never”. When u quarrel with people ,especially friends, mind what u voice out in anger bcoz providence might bring u guys back in future .Whoever thought that these two would say Hi to each other again? I cant wait to see Donjazzy & Dbanj reconcile properly. I broke down when they parted ways.

  11. It's also the reason why e no dey hard for guys to get killed. Human beings make mistakes but there are things folk do and you should know, "This one na the person character and e no mean me well at all."

Some of you don't understand the implication of certain things. Iyanya is not a good person. He went to the extent of faking CAC documents and was so believable that he made Ubi look like a fraud, if not for the fact that Ubi had his own papers. Imagine what will happen if an international investor was interested. Iyanya went to drag Emma Nyra that was minding her own business into what doesn't concern her, so that Ubi (that's already facing his own issues) will look some kinda way. Didn't Ubi say he missed his son's school event one day he was at the studio, defending himself in an interview against what turned out to be false allegations by Iyanya? All for what na? If Ubi likes, he shouldn't remember he has children to cater for. Go and eat with Iyanya, oh!

    1. You have sense! Many guys are too trusting. This so called easy settlement could as well be a hoax. Can a leopard change its spots?

  12. FTR, I don't know or have any connection to Ubi (that I am aware of). I wouldn't work with him cos I don't work with men whose personal lives are messy. But here's what y'all don't understand - music management is HARD and you never see immediate returns, if at all you see returns. It's one of the few legitimate businesses I won't put hand (and won't let my husband) cos I don't have the energy and patience. Plus I don't have the stomach for certain activities.

First, you have to develop the artiste and turn them into a product that you can sell (to the public), before you start talking about selling the music. It takes time, money, strategy and a lot of effort. It never happens overnight, not even with "reality television talent shows". And independent record label bosses just don't have the kind of clout and cash to push an artiste like Syco, Sony, etc.

You can develop an artiste that nobody knows for 3-5years and sh*t will just happen cos you can't control certain things. Maybe the day you decide to leak their single is when Davido and Tiwa will release collabo single unexpectedly. Or it'll be the day senators that are trying to steal Mace will fly fence, land on an innocent youth corper, break his neck and riot will start. What do you think the result will be? Your artiste will sink without a trace cos who will be talking about them? Sometimes, none of this drama but you can misjudge your audience (even at a listening party) who won't like the single. And people are fickle, they won't give you another chance to make it count especially they have their faves already competing for their attention. And this will be after years of pushing them with free events, developing friendships with OAPs, getting studio space even in your house, etc. Meanwhile, who's paying for all that? You. But one small boy from Ojuelegba that now says he's an artiste might think you're stealing his money. Lol. I didn't say no record label bosses steal, but...

Sometimes, everything aligns and they blow, but folk get greedy or restless: people want out of contracts, you don't want your cash cow to go, you at least want your investment back, trolls want to be entertained, etc. Are you going to sue your own artiste for money they don't have? Every sensible person knows $1,000,000 contract or even sales doesn't mean cash. And this is before you consider the African factor of "It's just 1000X harder to do business here." That's also before juju starts flying up and down. Then, if you're a female, it's a million times harder cos there's more industry and sexual politics to deal with. Look how long it took Teebilz & Don Jazzy to create Tiwa. Don Jazzy & Di'Ja. Don Jazzy & Johnny Drille. Burna Boy & his momager. Different results cos they're still trying to figure out what works. It's a constant & brutal learning curve.

When I see creatives that were doing okay as creatives, just jump out and start their own label (cos they think they have millions of fans), I just laugh and say, "Boo, you go'on learn." Simon Cowell can't sing, yet he has good insticts about who will sell and why - Leona Lewis isn't Alexandra Burke or Kelly Clarkson. Don Jazzy doesn't sing. Very few creatives can actually be CEOs (like Darey Art Alade or Banky) and even they don't create magic everyday.

  13. Guys settle easily indeed if to say na ladies now, u go hear " they said you gossip toke behind her back" or that ur mother died of heart attack even as a professional blogger o. Thats how to be extremely petty all bcos u dont want to be defeated in a fight bt immediately they mentioned ur husband, u craze meanwhile u re constantly writting on people's husbands. I was happy u made a fool of urself and bcos of a useless person like tonto dat reasonable ppl ignore. To even think say na you find trouble is disturbing. Thank God you were put in ur place. Some of ur followers wldnt tell u the truth bcos they fear ur bullying n insults but when they drop the phone, na them laugh you pass
