  3. Life goes right

Occasionally, things go wrong. Yet an overwhelming profusion of things go right, each and every moment.

Every leaf on every tree bears witness to the fact that life goes right, over and over again. Every cell in your body, precisely situated, enables you to do all you do.

When the problems do come, gain great power over them by putting them in perspective. Draw upon the vast accumulation of goodness in your life.

When things go wrong, open yourself to the power of all that continues to go right. Boost your confidence, raise your expectations, engage your energy, and push forward.

You’ve persisted through every difficulty you’ve ever encountered. Much more often than not, life goes right, and there’s a way through this difficulty too.

  6. Rhapsody Today!!

    The Kingdom Culture!!
    Romans 12:2

    Excerpts!!

"The Word of God is given to us to mould and shape our character; to culture our lives"

"If you are still moulded by the ideologies of academic professors, your life will be in jeopardy"

"When the word is in your spirit, it would produce in you the kingdom culture"

    Daily Confession!!

Dear Father, I yield myself to the ministry of the Word and the Spirit to learn, develop and live out the Kingdom life here on earth; a life of victory, strength, dominion, supernatural abilities and grace. I refuse to be influenced by the world and its systems; rather, I'm conscious of my divine heritage, and live the Kingdom life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  7. Let me go anonymous on this
Please is there anything wrong in what I did and what can I do next about it?

A very close friend of mine who is married needed my help to get some documents for him for a presentation he will be doing.
So I couldn't get it to him then he asked me to help him drop it for his wife at home. I called the wife she wasn't picking to inform her I was coming to drop something for her husband then I told my friend that his wife isn't picking up.
He said I should go that she will definitely be at home and if she is not I should drop it at the doormat.
I got to the house and I noticed the wife was home the door was slightly opened and my mistake was not knocking before opening the door gbam caught the wife in a deep smooching and kissing scene with another guy, when I saw the guy it was another friend.
I told her I came to drop something for her husband, dropped the document and I left.
It was a marriage of 3 years with a son then.
The wife started calling and being nice to me I was just so casual with her and I did not even tell her anything.
This happened about a year ago and immediately I cut every relationship with the husband, the wife and even the stupid friend.
Even though I felt so guilty about it but I did not tell a soul about what I saw.
The husband who was my friend noticed the distance and he kept on calling and asking if there was something he did..
I told him nothing that I have just been busy with work and other things.
He got tired of calling and we never spoke to each other all through this year.
Two days ago I heard from a mutual friend that the marriage has packed up cos my friend caught the wife in the act and also found out that the son isn't his( the story long abeg I no get strength to type how the guy catch the wife).
Ever since I heard I have been skeptical on calling him cos I am feeling so guilty that I betrayed him and it has been eating me up since on Tuesday.
Is it right for me to open up to him that I knew and that was why I kept my distance or I should just look on and act like I did not hear anything.

True life story..happened in this our Lagos.

Just know that both men and women are scum

Stella don't post if I'm not in anonymous.

    Replies
    1. So you went anonymous because? Marriage has packed up so why are you feeling guilty? Did you ask his wife to cheat? You didn’t have to get involved and what you were trying to avoid eventually happened. Continue to mind your business unless you want to replace his ex wife.

      Delete
    2. Anon 8.01, this story has been on the internet for long.

      Delete
    3. What will your confession do? Tear them apart further if they could eventually patch things up? Please take the lessons and move on. You should learn to always knock before entering people's house. You needed not cut the guy off completely, you could have kept him at an arm length so you guys can easily reconcile when need be but you didn't. Please move on or you can call him and say hello without mentioning what you know.

      Delete
    4. What is your telling him now supposed to achieve? The marriage has already scattered. You're not trying to help or save him from anything; you just want to clear your mind of guilt and give him load. If he finds out on his own that you knew, take whatever he dishes out. But you're not to tell him now cos when you had a chance to do the right thing, you faced your front and abandoned him. Find a way by yourself to deal with your guilt about being a horrible friend & don't give the friend you betrayed, a load that isn't his just to "clear yourself".

      Delete
    5. Lock up.he will hate you for not telling him.just ignore

      Delete
    6. Babe just keep your mouth closed as it was ooo. Kill that guilt and keep moving ahead. At list on be for your mouth dey hear sey dog dey chop shit. He finally caught her and that was God's right time for her to be exposed.

    7. You shouldn't have cut the guy off.

Don't tell him nada! It will change nothing. You can still call him though.

      Delete
    8. what you did is the right thing, allowing nemesis to catch up with her.you shouldn't be the one to break the news to your friend but now that he found out you can as well let him know

      Delete
    9. I remember when you first dropped this gist.
You have nothing to feel guilty about.
Call him up and console him. Be there for him and make sure you don't reveal what you saw to him ever.

      Sluttychic.

      Delete
    10. Move on already
No need telling him what you know. The guy is going through a lot already. Don't add to it by reminding of his past• If hhe knows you were aware of his wife's marrital infedelity,it will only make it impossible to regain his friendship again bcos he'll feel betrayed.

Try as much as you can to delete that scene from your mind and memory and try if you can to help your friend move on from this traumatic experience.

      Delete
    11. Please go annon
      Without the announcement its annoying
Just type and move on .
Okay popular Bv we have noticed you .

    12. As you didn't tell him then, I see no point telling him now. Just be a good friend as you can be to him.

But women get mind these days o. In your husband's house with someone he knows fa. God please save our men from evil women and bad friends; save me and my fellow women from satanic husbands and enemy friends.

    13. why do i have a feeling you want to reach out to the guy, tell him the gist so that you can replace his wife. Madam stay your lane and mind your business.

    Ezekiel 33:8
"When I say to the wicked O' wicked man thou shall surely die, if thou dose not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity and his blood will I require at thine hand.

Someone out there may just be waiting for you to speak to him or her to change from their wicked ways so they may be safe.

Hahahaha. They put you in this trouble in the first place"

Exactly my love. Nigerian's don't know their history. The so-called colonial leaders got us into this shit in the first place. Their efforts made Nigeria a zoo. Nigeria is a project that shouldn't have been embarked on. It was meticulously programmed to fail from day one. You don't merge people with parallel ways of life. The white man intentionally programmed this enclave in such a way that a devastatingly poor and educationally deficient region consistently determines what happens and what doesn't. How can you expect any meaningful development in such a setting? Aren't you worried that the most educationally backward region in Nigeria produces most of our judges? What an irony! You'll hardly mention one of them who is a top lawyer, yet they're the top judges! Any idiot can be made a judge, but you need capacity to be a top lawyer. Just look at the two illiterates that contested the 2019 presidential election; one got Yoruba lawyers to defend him at the tribunal, while the other got Igbo lawyers. Why didn't they use their people? Because they knew they lacked competence. Na only appointment them sabi. If Igbo and Yoruba do not desist from the foolish beef they've been having and unite, their destinies and those of other Southerners will perpetually be controlled by stark illiterates. Just look at the type of person we made president.

  35. I encountered something very sad a few days ago. A woman who went to refill her gas fell from the bike and hit her head on the cylinder. This happened close to my house, I came out when I heard noises. Some kind neighbors quickly rushed her to a clinic as she was bleeding and in severe pain. A few moments later, we neighbors discussed what may have caused her fall.

"She gave birth a week ago, maybe she's still bleeding and so it made her dizzy, she fell". A man said.
"Are you sure the bike man didn't cause the fall, maybe he was shaking?" A lady asked.
"No, I saw everything. The woman just slumped over. Maybe she was tired". He replied.
"Yes. Or maybe she was feeling sleepy and..."
"Or maybe she was hungry" I said almost inaudibly.
"What?" They asked, disbelief written all over their faces.
"I said maybe she was hungry, so hungry she fell". I replied louder.
    They burst out laughing.
"How can you say hunger? How can it be? Haba."
"How can it not be?" I asked.
"What business did a woman who just put to bed have, going to buy gas? To cook nau because she's famished".

I went on to recount an incident. I was at a church weekday deliverance session where a group of prayer warriors were casting demons out of a young girl. She kept falling anytime she stood, the warriors kept kabashing and casting legions of demons from her body. The pastor's wife was seated at a corner, observing. When she could no longer take it, she screamed.
    "Everybody stop!"
They, including her husband looked at her as if she was the devil they were casting as she came closer to them.
"This girl is hungry" She said.
She went on to provide food for the girl there and then and we watched her wolf it all down in seconds. Demons flew away and the girl was made whole.

Brethren, let's give a moment of silence for HUNGER.

Hunger is bad! Take it from someone who knows. That's why I don't joke with food. I don't have a lot of clothes or things but by the Grace of God, I have food. I can be stingy with anything but food. What about you my dear? Do you attach too much importance to food? I stayed with a cousin who hid food anytime someone knocked on her door. She had enough to spare but will never share.
I would have grown with such attitude but my parents talked and acted me out of it. Y'all remember my I gara worry wa story?

A lot of people around you are hungry. I'm not talking about the chronic beggars who have refused to work but depend on others. These ones will never tell you. We have them in church, pay more attention, you'll see them. I noticed a young guy about my younger bro's mate in church. Very active in God's work but the moment I saw him, I knew he needed to eat. All bones, no flesh. After service, I invited him to my house. He devoured the plate of food I gave him before I could say Jack Robinson. True to my instinct, his number one problem was food. After I listened to his pathetic story, I told him I didn't have money to give him but he could lunch with us on Sundays and every other day. The joy on his face fulfilled me.

My good people, let us curb hunger in our own little way. A plate of food can save a life. Shout out to the angels who give pots and plates of food to people. God bless you as you save mankind.
    Good morning Stella and BVs.

  53. If you're TTC and getting desperate, do NOT allow in-laws terrorising you make you put hand where you're not supposed to. Do NOT go to any nonsense place to collect child or drink/eat concoction, oh! And no matter what name they say they're using, you KNOW when the place isn't right. For those giving God ultimatum, "It's almost the end of the year. God, if I don't get pregnant this year, I will X/Y/Z" don't allow the devil use you to play yourself. Don't say you weren't warned.

Final year chronicler of yesterday with the donkey of a lecturer, you don't know this cos of what you're not yet seeing, but you are VERRRRRY important to God and He hasn't abandoned you. Don't give up and don't give in; you've come this far.

  56. So I read that Kim K said she will reduce nudity in the coming year 2020. She said she couldn't scroll through her phone while her kids are watching for fear of notifications she wouldn't want her kids to see popping up. She admitted contributing to it.
My point now is, Kim herself knows that promoting nudity is wrong. She knows to protect her kids from the mess "they" have created on social media. The question now is, what happens to our Nigerian "celebs" who have copied and have displayed nudity all over? Will they withdraw such pictures? Or will they also start covering up in future? I am particularly interested to see what Chika Ike will do. Will she also come up with a reason to start covering up? As we know, our people like to copy.

  71. Wow congrats Joy. May your marriage stand the test of time.

So we are to buy aso-ebi for our school's Christmas carol, #700 per yard. I told them I can't afford it, I have plenty debts to settle. If I buy it, I have to pay for sewing too. The management said everyone must wear it. I now said they should give me one yard, I will use it and sew small top to wear with skirt or trousers, the teacher in charge of it now said I should stop behaving like a hungry person, that is it my daughter that I want to sew one yard for?
I gave her a piece of my mind, they reported the matter, now they are saying they will penalise us for quarrelling by deducting 3days wages from our salaries.
    Fellow bvs, is this fair?
