That Yuls post on boy or girl child really made me sad for some,especially the Lady with three daughters who will not be travelling to avoid insults on her in the Village....People fail to realise it is the gender that the man releases that the woman carries...men should be blamed if anyone has to be blamed at all....The mentality in Nigeria is sick but sadly,it will not be changing anytime soon....

Women need to be educated about this very crucial topic of having male and female children. It seems people still don't know that it's men that carries both the Y and X chromosomes. I couldn't believe when a very educated and well enlightened Nigerian woman was complaining about not having a male child and that her husband was not happy about the situation. I told her that she shouldn't be worried at all, that it wasn't her fault, it is what her husband gives to her that she carries and she was like how?.... And I'm like, but you did biology in school. I made sure she entered Google to get more knowledge about the issue.
If women are aware about these information, they will not be killing themselves with different thoughts.

He seems to find love again. He keeps you informed of everything. A part of you feels someone, you can't explain it it's a betrayal, if he is spiting you with her, or if he is a liar who falls in love every quarter. You will miss his convo and all the chit chat you have shared has he has found love again. He did not say it will end, you just feel his attention will drift away to his new found love. To think he expressed he had feelings for you 5 months before, but you just did not talk. You liked him, his company but you wanted no relationship.

DeleteIt's really very sad that at this age and time some people still have the mentality that male child is better than female. About Christmas I thank God for life and good health but with this closure of border and Tejuosho issue that is affecting us ,I still have faith in God.

ReplyDeleteI was in a commercial vehicle yesterday where about three men (age btw 31-40) were busy arguing how they (men) did women favor by marrying them. That women are begging them (men) to marry them blah blah.
I heard a lot of nonsense yesterday and these are men that might have male children and they would pass such mentality to them.
My dear some men are harebrained and its appalling....If you listen to their conversation, its unfortunate..Anyway we women need to do better in raising quality men....
