  3. Elections held in two states on Saturday, one being Bayelsa and the other, Kogi. In both, Apc won. However, for those residing in either of the states and/or have friends, families and loved ones in either of the states, you can attest that the "celebration" in both states are quite different. While people are genuinely happy in Bayelsa, people are taking over the streets and rejoicing so much so that even those that voted the opposition are smiling, you cant fail but notice the fear and tension in Kogi. No doubt, the "disciples" will rejoice but the majority live in fear, I confirmed it from a phone call I got yesterday.
I shed a tear while watching the video of the daughter pdp woman that was burnt alive, she kept asking "what was my mum's offense"
I mourn with all that mourn for a genuine reason. It just hurts me that those that should condemn with actions are quiet. It's so sad that the enemies of democracy may not be made to answer to their crimes.
How did we get here? Where did we get it wrong? Is the desire to lead more important than the people? Is it too late to correct all of these?
My prayers are with the family of all those mourning as a result of this elections. May their souls find eternal rest. Amen!

  4. INSPIRED BY THE PAST

The past is over, yet you can still benefit from it. You can draw great inspiration from all you’ve been through.

From what you’ve done well, from what you’ve done poorly, be inspired. From what went wrong, from what went right, be inspired.

Today, you can choose what to carry forward from the previous days, years, and eras of your life. Choose those memories, those feelings, that will push you into a positive, highly fulfilling future.

Look back with gratitude, and feel the vast accumulation of energy that has brought you here. Now, focus all that energy forward and fulfill your highest possibilities.

  17. Don't let anybody buy you into partaking of their evil. Yes, folk want others to "drink water and mind your business" till it affects them personally.

Many years ago, a woman in London walked past a young girl in trouble (the woman saw a lot of boys, knew there was a girl there but didn't see the face), and couldn't even be bothered to call the police. She got home to discover her daughter was missing. The girl she didn't stop to help was her daughter. Keep minding your business, oh!

Some of you, they pay you money so you turn the other way. Even wo/men of God. They call you to settle case, you judge in favour of the one that gives you big seed. You're not afraid! Your brain is so clogged you don't even see that folk offering you money and gifts beforehand, are usually trying to buy you! You allow that to close your mouth. God sends you to someone, you go there and can't deliver difficult message cos they gave you food and called you daddy/mama as soon as they saw you. Shameless sellout. Brown envelope Rev. The temperature of your sermon is determined by the whims of the biggest spenders (sorry, givers) in your congregation.

There are some testimonies people should be too afraid to come and tell you, if you truly fear God. What is the meaning of "I sowed a seed of 20K in church on Sunday and as soon as I got to the office the next day, my MD gave me a Ghana-must-go bag of N5m and said it's my share"? Share of what, please? Why are you not asking them clear questions? Tithe and seed = why some of you ordain rapists, child molesters and robbers as deacons and junior pastors (1 Timothy 5:22).

    1. Dried corn, guinea corn or millet. You can mix the three. Soak for two days, always change the water. Blend to a smooth paste. Filter with a clean clothes a bucket. After a few hours, the pap will settle. Scoop out the water and pour the pap in a cotton pillow case-like pap bag to completely dry out the water. Place a heavy object on the bag to achieve this better. Your pap is ready.

  40. It's been a rough couple of days but rough in a really good way. Wow!!!

I'm here for the chronicles poster of yesterday and I hope in general we do not take such wrong advice we receive here seriously.

There's no crime in visiting a guy first as long as you've practically been dating for a while. Now I do not mean those relationships u started from Facebook and barely know each other.

There's no fast rule to anything relationship, none at all. You may visit him first and the relationship will be dead on arrival or he may visit u first and the relationship will still not work.

I remember when boo and I started dating. He invited me over to his base and I didn't think twice before I accepted and two weeks after, I was with him where he used to reside.

    Look at us today!!!

I can remember telling him 'you will now think that I'm easy because I came all the way from Lagos to visit you' and his response was 'why would I think that if I'm the one that invited you'.

Only a childish immature person will dump u because u accepted his invite. A totally immature fool.

I accepted an invite and soon I'm getting married to the love of my life. Do not because of rules that people have written down lose the person meant for u.

The only issue u should be concerned about is safety and if u feel safe, why not??? Na only God dey protect person las las

    My two cents

  48. Congrats BV Martins. I keep wondering when God will do my own. Really tired. Will be 30 in less than 2 months, never been in a relationship. Even when I meet some potential guys ,they just stop chatting with me, no reason. And even when I try to reach out and still not much difference in their response, I had to back out. Don't want to force myself on anyone. I have prayed and still praying. God please answer me. My colleagues at work have been asking when I am getting married. Ladies younger than me in the office are married with babies .I keep telling them with faith that so so date. When the date passes, I tell them we had to postpone the wedding. I don't want to be turned to old cargo in the office. Those people's mouth ain't good at all. They just say things without thinking how it will hurt one . Please just say a word of prayer for me. It's not easy. Can't wait for this to pass. God,please show me mercy

    1. Don't worry dear, your own man will come. When I look back and remember how he did mine it looks like a dream. I was about the same age with you. At 30 I thought it was over but God did it. Live happy, thank God in anticipation of what is to Come. Give yourself treats, go on vacation if you can afford it. Above all ask God to direct you. You will testify soon. It is well dear.

    1. Now that you mentioned it, it's been a long long time I saw it, it's those small omo onile ones I see around. Hope they haven't gone into extinction though I doubt it.

  54. Can we talk about annoying things our spouses do cos my man is doing the absolute.

My hubs abandons old soap/cream/perfume once he gets a new one as if the old one stopped working. 😒😒😒

Picks long ass movies for us to watch but catches an attitude when i fall asleep or be on my phone. He knows i have ADHD and can't sit still for long. 😡😡😡

The worst.. asks me what i wanna eat, i tell him then he suggests something entirely different and on top of that, tells me i'd love it. Then what is the point of asking me! 🤬🤬🤬

He's lucky i adore his ass. Lol

To everyone on this wonderful blog.
My friend in Lagos was telling yesterday about Christmas beach parties and shows and 0I can imagine how beautiful Christmas will be in Lagos.
She told me to come over for holiday, I quickly told her I would be occupied. Lol. How can I go and become a burden to somebody? A broke person has no business going to somebody's house for holiday.
O Santa, pls locate me with a job in in the new year. Amen
