EFCC Reportedly Seizes Peace Air CEO Allen Onyema's Passport Over Alleged Fraud In The US

The Economic And Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, has seized the passport of Allen Onyema, chief executive officer of Air Peace, over alleged bank fraud and money laundering in the United States.

According to The Nation, Onyema’s passports will be in custody of the EFCC as investigations continue and his movements, temporarily restricted.

US authorities had said in November that Onyema moved more than $20 million from Nigeria through US bank accounts in a scheme involving false documents based on the purchase of aeroplanes.

*Seize passport? What nonsense,is he running anywhere?EFCC likes to sensationalise news and its annoying...

  1. Right step In the right direction.

  2. I will understand if a passport is being seized from someone who have no major investment or assets in Nigeria so they won't run away but not for Onyema who has billions investment in Nigeria and diaspora. Why would he be running away? What for if I may ask?

  3. Until EFCC investigates the bullion at bourdillion then we will know they are really a professional organization.

  4. media trial, efcc should be protecting him, if he goes down so many people gets unemployed

  5. Stellz you wrote Peace Air, instead of Air PeacečśĆ
