According to The Nation, Onyema’s passports will be in custody of the EFCC as investigations continue and his movements, temporarily restricted.
US authorities had said in November that Onyema moved more than $20 million from Nigeria through US bank accounts in a scheme involving false documents based on the purchase of aeroplanes.

ReplyDeleteRight step In the right direction.
ReplyDeleteFoolish set of EFCC
ReplyDeleteI will understand if a passport is being seized from someone who have no major investment or assets in Nigeria so they won't run away but not for Onyema who has billions investment in Nigeria and diaspora. Why would he be running away? What for if I may ask?
ReplyDeleteUntil EFCC investigates the bullion at bourdillion then we will know they are really a professional organization.
