Read his touching message before his death. He said:
"If l die in a war zone, box me up and send me home. Put my medals on my chest, tell my mom l did my best. Tell my dad not to bow, he won't get tension from me now. Tell my bro to study perfectly, key of my car will be his permanently. Tell my sister not to be upset, her bro will take a long sleep after sunset. Tell my nation not to cry, because l am a soldier born to die, but never to be forgotten".
πͺπͺπͺπͺπͺthis is too emotional for me
ReplyDeleteWait, as a soldier, can't one resign if for instance one is transferred to Borno State?
DeleteAnon11:46,most soldiers I know are always very happy when transferred there bcos there's enough allowances for them. And if they survive it and come back home they will have a lot of goodies and most times promotion. My in-law came back from sambisa and bought two plots of land in a very beautiful place in Ibadan while his friend built a house from their savings they brought back home from there.
DeleteRest in peace gallant soldier. May God grant your family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
May your soul rest in perfect peace oh Galant soldier. Amen.
DeleteRest in peace soldier.
DeleteBlack diamond, it's not true. I know one that doesn't seem boxed up and he just left sambisa, he wants to even resign as they have not paid him because of a mistake he did.
DeleteBlack Diamond its not true o!
DeleteNo one is happy to go there.
No money like you think. Its shared among the big ogas who are not even in the war zone but chilling in Abuja and Lagos.
Rest on gallant soldier! You died a hero
DeleteThis broke my heart. May your soul rest in peace
ReplyDeleteChaii! Very touchy. Rest in peace
DeleteWhat a waste.
ReplyDeletePeoples children keep dying every day concerning an issue that should have been taken care of.
Why are they not sending their own kids to the war front?
This is so sad, too painful and yet it's all for nothing cus buhari is still acting like boko haram isn't any issue, it's social media that is their problem.
I can't imagine being his parents for a min
May his soul rest in peace. Amen
Rest in peace handsome ππππ’
DeleteDon’t be ignorant please. American soldiers are dying too.
DeletePush up, please don't politicise everything. Read his message again. While it's a sad thing to know that as a soldier, you may never come home; taking on the job clearly acknowledges this may happen.
DeleteYou say why don't they send their kids? Maybe their kids aren't in the force. It's like asking that why aren't you and I there? We are not in the force.
No country in the world totally defeats these Wicked sets of people. But truth be told, they have been largely contained.
Once again, rip soldier. Thank you and GOD bless you.
At least, I know that Obasanjo's son has served in that region.
Delete#Touching.
ReplyDeleteI wont even go to war for the best country in the world, then a messed up twisted country like Nigeria? Even if its a video game, i wont fight for this country.
If they didnt go to contain boko haram by now boko haram must have gotten to you. Infact every corner in Nigeria. Be grateful they went just pray for them
DeleteAt last, a wise person@13:51.
DeleteNo one wants to serve. We think the countries that are working got there by wishful thinking.
That’s a soldier! We’re all born to die. Yours was only an early departure but you did your best. Salute. Rest In Peace
ReplyDeleteI am a guy and I almost had tears running down my chicks. He fought well. I pray and really hope this country will appreciate his efforts and reward his family handsomely. May his soul rest well. This is touching.
ReplyDeleteTry not to let the little birds get wet with your tears running down your cheeks.
Delete*Cheeks* You're a guy and can't spell. π
DeleteSo spelling is gender sensitive?
DeleteYou can tell the man can spell. But homophones can be quite tricky sometimes even to the best of us.
R.I.P Soldier.
This is painful. God please deliver this nation from boko haram. rest in peace young man. you are a hero and i pray for all soldiers fighting in the north east, may God continue to protect them.
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteAnd yet we play Russian roulette with these people's lives. GOD bless you all and rest in peace.
If Nigeria is worth dying for. The politicians should all die for her.
ReplyDeleteMay your soul rest in perfect peace.
ReplyDeleteMay your family receive strength and grace to best your loss.
May the country you laid down your life for, gets better.
May Nigeria remember and honour their fallen heroes.π
Good night soldier man π

OmG, this made me shed tears. May his soul rest in peace
ReplyDeleteThis is how people see their death n have a premonition that they will die....the supernatural controls the physical. Be mindful what you wish yourself.
ReplyDeleteCokolicious
So touching!!! He died for a nation that doesn't worth it. God rest your soul. The monster the government condoned, are beginning to eat them up.
ReplyDeleteYou will always play politics with serious issues. Who blames a person who proudly writes about his escapades with an akunakuna. The government before this didn’t condone it right? When it had so many regions taken over by this evil? Mtcheeeew! Pray for the man and keep quiet.
DeleteSo touching! RIP Soldier!
ReplyDeleteBV RON
OMG! this is deep!
ReplyDeleteSo sad.
ReplyDeleteSalute!
ReplyDeleteMy respect to this hero. You will never be forgotten.
ReplyDeleteI think a monumental museum should be specially built for all our departed heroes.
Every departed heroes name will be inscribed on the walls.

ReplyDeleteBaba should change Buratai and the rest.Inject fresh ideas and let the war plan be reviewed. This is long overdue
Change who???
Deleteno way!
Buratai is doing a 'great job'! Let them continue deceiving themselves.
Rubbish and Nonesense!
Another gallant Soldier just passed on.
Very painful.
Rest in peace Sir!
I wish you guys all know what it means to fight insurgents with corrupt ideology. Look thΓ© US army, look Sri Lanka, look how it was between the UK and IRA, look the Lord Resistance army, look Darfur, look many other places with their more sophisticated armies fighting insurgents. How many years has it taken them yet no success?
Delete16:34, thank you very much. Insurgency and terrorism isn't the same thing as war. No rules of engagement. You have said it all, I won't bother adding to what you wrote, as the average Nigerian jumps on the thread without being adequately informed. Thanks 16;34
DeleteRIP Heroππ
ReplyDeletelife is what it is, we can't change the day or date of our departure. You died not for a nation but for a soul that needed to be saved. God bless your effort for doing what you know how to do best. Rest in peace soldier, you will sure be in our thoughts and prayers.

Rest in peace Hamza. May God give your family and friends the fortitude to bear your loss.
ReplyDeleteFor all true soldiers who gave their lives containing this menace called "Boko Haram", I say RIP. To all "dem dem" who because of the money they want to embezzle, played games with these people's lives, may their sins always be before the Most High, in the name of Jesus
ReplyDeleteBig AMEN. To think people like Badeh and those there now are carting away blood money then one man is lying that they are fighting kwarruption... What a sad joke.
DeleteIn his words he was aware of the obvious, I hope our government supports his family through their trying times. RIP
