  1. SERIOUS BUSINESS

Are you a little unclear about your priorities, about what matters most to you? Subject yourself to challenge, and you’ll quickly understand those priorities.

Challenge will focus you, inspire you, improve you. Challenge will connect you with your highest values and your deepest desires.

Challenge will force you to generate real, meaningful substance in your life. Challenge will get you out of bed in the morning, and keep you on track all day long.

Whether you choose a particular challenge or one is imposed on you, your most useful response is the same. Step up to the challenge and let it bring out your highest, most effective effort.

A serious challenge is serious business. Respond with serious commitment, and it will make you seriously better, more purposeful and effective.

Embrace the challenges. And know, with confidence, just how meaningful, valuable, and consequential your life, and your efforts, can be.

  3. Rhapsody Today!!

Meditate On The Realities Of The Gospel!!
    1 Timothy 4:15

    Excerpts!!

"Meditate on the realities of the gospel. It will make you think, talk and walk differently"

"Your life will be an expression and manifestation of the message and blessings of the gospel"

    Confession!!

I walk in the reality of all that the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ accomplished for me. I have eternal life; the imperishable, indestructible and incorruptible life of God, and it's at work in every fibre of my being, keeping me in divine health, and warding off everything that's inconsistent with the provisions of the Gospel. Blessed be God!

  6. This is for those who usually abbreviate the year when writing date. For example 30/12/19. Someone with an evil motive can easily add two figures such as 99 to backdate it to mean 1999 whereas you meant 2019. Please desist from it.

Also, when writing single number from 1 to 9, always add the number 0 in front of the single number such as 05/12/2019. When you write just 5/12/19, it can be falsified to be 15/12/1995 by adding 1 at the front of the 5 and 95 at the back of the 19.

If you continue this in 2020, you may one day discover that your 17/04/20 have been changed to 17/04/2019 taking you back to 2019.

Dates are very essential in an eventuality of a happenstance.

I hope you have learnt a thing from this.

I don't blame them na our Nigerian govt I blame cos if we had a good transport system in this country those SnM guys won't be bothered about distance... 2. The transportation system in Nigeria is very bad. The roads congestion all the time is because there are no unlimited means of movement.

The railway system that is supposed to be another very effective means of movement within the country and even, within the States is also not functioning the way it should be.

Lack of consistency and accountability is what is destroying the country.

I love adventures, especially road trips but, it is not safe in Nigeria, especially with the bad roads.

Imagine being afraid of travelling by air or sea and you'll still be afraid of travelling by train or bus/car.

Forex trading/binary options is a gamble so be warned!

  12. Good morning blog fam, gradually, 2019 is coming to an end, thank God for his faithfulness.

Something happened on Saturday that made me realized that TTC are really facing hell.

We went to greet my SIL, her shop is closer to my husband's family house. I was inside and my husband was there too, then one man was passing by and greeted my husband, he went out to greet him and the first question he asked was "shey iyawo ti bi'mo?" "has the wife given birth?"

My husband just smiled and said, we're hoping on God, and the man left.

I was so surprised and my husband said, imagine that question sha, wedding of almost 6 months and they're expecting a baby already, people are funny oooo.

My SIL said, the man might have forgotten when we did wedding and that's what everyone will be waiting for.

After our intro in June (intro with Islamic wedding), we attended my MIL younger sister who represents their mother, her daughter was getting married and we went. Then my SIL called my husband asking him that, "is his wife pregnant?" that it was daddy that asked her. When he got to where I was sitting, he was just fuming and telling me that what rubbish is that? Me was just laughing.

Why are we making things hard for young couples? Can't they decide to take their time before giving birth?

To everyone looking unto God for babies, may your story change this 2020, they will call you with new names by God's grace

When are you having a baby and so on marriage of a year and we even planned not to have babies for 8 months after wedding sef. But how many people are we going to start explaining to.
I feel reluctant picking some family members calls during this festive period because of the questions and unnecessary advices. At work nko a colleague was asking a friend of mine that shey ur friend no wan born ni shebi her marriage don rch one year. Even in church yesterday I was called out to be prayed for by children. Hmmm I don’t know how to feel, it’s not easy. But one has to really grow a thick skin like adire said.

    3. No it’s not but make him work for it. U can start by telling to tidy his room or wash or something at the end of the month u can pay him. So he will understand that he has to work to get paid n it’s not free. Goodluck

    4. Why do you want to give your seven years old money for doing nothing to earn it?

      Does he clean his room?
Does he join in washing the dishes?
If he joins in doing some house chores, you can start giving him money in small amounts for a job well done... A capitalist system is the best system to raise a financially responsible/disciplined children who will also grow up to become responsible adults.

P.S get him a piggy bank too.

      Delete
    5. You can give him as reward for good behaviour I.e he finished his homework on time, he tidied up after playing, he wasn't naughty throughout the week... you can also get him a piggy bank to teach him how to save in a fun way. Get him those cartoon character ones. You could also give him as pocket money then you make him give you a breakdown on how he used the money and how he was able to save. Encourage him to save something out of the weekly allowance you give him.

Do not expect him to have a grasp of money immediately, it's a gradual process. But rest assured, you will be raising a money smart young man in the long run. #cheers

    6. Thanks guys.. I wanted paying him for chores he does since he's very responsible. He washes plates, sweeps etc. I even occasionally leave him with his two younger siblings to get things and he takes good care of them. But my husband said no need paying him for doing what is his responsibility in the first place. I just wanted to know how others are doing it. Thanks again

God, I am in church and this lady has yawned up to 6times without covering her mouth and it's oozing๐Ÿ˜ท"

This might come off funny, but it isn't. So many Chronicles were precipitated by mouth odour. You try to kiss your partner and they take off their face. This pattern is repeated severally. How would you feel? Hurt, right? It becomes the beginning of so many issues between the both of you, simply because you've refused to have clean breath. You want somebody's child to suck a mouth that is smelling? Why are you this wicked? The bad smell means dirty dey inside your mouth. Plenty dirty for that matter. That is what you want your partner to suck and swallow! You're very stupid.

The lady being referred to by anonymous above had such a terrible mouth odour by 8:03am! It's obvious she isn't an old woman, so there's no way to rationalise this. A young woman will leave her home, without being conscious of her breath! Seriously speaking, this is an international malady. In my opinion, less than 10% of people actually give their mouth and breath the required attention. Your mouth and breath should be among your very top priorities. In all the people I meet, both in this zoo and elsewhere, 8 in 10 of them always have this bad breath irrespective of social class- it might not be as early as 8:03am for all, but you will always pick out a smell if you spend longer periods with them. Caucasians are worse off. E be like say oyibo no dey even brush at all. Sit with them in trains and you'll almost puke.

Please, let's take our breath seriously. You could actually lose a very important opportunity because of your foul breath. You'll actually lose it if that opportunity was to come from me.

  45. Yesterday poster, you see the age of 23-28 is the best time for a girl to pick a suitor and settle down with. You know why? At this age you're in your prime and a lot of suitors will keep coming to ask for your hand in marriage. Pls make sure you don't miss it at this age range. Forget people telling you to let go you will meet better men in the future, they're liars. Although, some ladies are lucky to still meet their Mr right after missing out from this early glorious days but to be honest with you they're very few. Once a lady Misses out or lost the opportunity of choosing one at this age range it becomes a very big trouble because after this period you will find yourself in your thirties and by that time the competition is real. The men now have a lot of options to choose from. You're no longer that young and beautiful to them anymore because a lot of beauties in their twenties have arrived fully ready for marriage. By that age you will start running from pillar to post going for deliverance from spirit husband. My dear, there's no spirit husband tormenting you anywhere provided you're in Christ. The bitter truth is you've done too much shakara and missed out when God bombarded you with suitors. Another advantage of early marriage is easy procreation. Your body as a woman endures pregnancy stress and labour pains very well around 20-35yrs anything above this is God take control. So you see why it is good to make Hays while the sun shines? This Truth I told you today was never reveal to me by my elders around me instead they all keep encouraging to keep sending potential suitors with minor issues away while waiting for my night in shining armour. Before I realized what's happening I've clocked 31yrs no husband. I then realised I've send all my suitors away with one excuse or the other and now there's no shining armour anywhere. I started begging and asking God for mercy. I begged God to give me e second chance and God being faithful he did it for me. I got married at 32yrs and took in that same year. So my dear forget people telling you marriage is overreacted, why are you under pressure blablabla. Go to single mingle post of yesterday you will see that every girl desires to be happily married. No one wants to be single and lonely in old age. All those motivational talk about men being scum are just for consolation.

He said the stretch marks turns him on, he said they look sexy to him. Whenever he sees a very fat lady, he looks at them lustfully. All his girlfriends were very fat. I mean the very fat and shapeless ones o .

Many might not know;but FREE WIFI is a lot of risk if you use your device for online Transactions..

Ever wondered how hackers do fraudulent transfers even when the victim has their phone and ATM card with them?

When you use a free wifi;you give free access, and that includes your passwords and login credentials..

  52. Yesterday afternoon I was not really happy at all. A friend that connected me to this cute igbo guy just chatted me after I came back from service.

I open WhatsApp! Lo and behold! The wedding pics of the guy I refused to marry. She actually linked me up with the guy. I refused this guy because of his age! He is 41! Am 28! The guy likes me! He is nice! Working in a good company! Earns well. He told me that dec he would like to see my dad, I laughed over it. I hardly chat him up thou but my friend tried convincing me dat age is just a number. Not like he looks his age but he is on the big size! I mean very very big.

After like a month he told me that! I never chatted him up, one morning he chatted me dat hey u seem not to love me! I wont chat u ever again and that was it he blocked me on WhatsApp but we were still friends on fb.

When my friend sent in his wedding pics mocking me that! "" you see! U were shouting age age. Look he is married and na well known MC anchor the wedding. I know she was trying to make me feel bad and regret. I was like wow wow. I showed my mom! See dat guy. She was like eeeh and this guy no too old oo.???๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„ in my mind I was like hmm. U see mothers huh. I immediately opened fb. Na e wedding pics just be d first thing I see. I wrote congratulations and moved on.

Any need to regret??? But I dnt know why I felt bad thou. The guy get bar sha but the age difference is 13yrs for God sake. It is well.

  53. What is with all these married women shapelessly begging on Facebook?
They do this with their full Facebook name and profile pictures, some even carry their children in the pictures and beg shamelessly. They are here on this blog too. Can't they respect their husband or family and stay off begging?
What if there was no social media? Will they die?

  58. STEP OUT ON FAITH

“He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it..” (1 Thessalonians 5:24, ESV).

Years ago while standing at a church altar, I had gone up for prayer. Tears running down my face, I felt afraid. The Father was having me step out on faith and trust Him in a way I had never trusted Him before. I was totally out of my comfort zone like a baby standing for the first time. I wondered, “What if I fall?” “Can I really do this?” “Lord, help me.” And with all of these thoughts going through my mind, my Father came to my aid and encouraged me. He reminded that He had called me and He will do it. Not me…Him.

A lot of us are wondering how we are going to do the things that the Father has called us to do, but let me encourage you with the same thing He encouraged me with. It is not you that is doing anything. It is the Father. Didn’t He say, it’s not by power, nor by might, but by My spirit says the Lord? If any great victory is going to be had by you, it will be by His strength and power. If any change is going to take place in your life, it will be changed by His power. If you are going to walk the straight and narrow way, it will be by His grace and power. All He is requiring of you is you to yield to Him, trust in Him and step out on faith!

Prayer: Thank you, Father, for speaking to my heart. I desperately need your help and your words of life. I receive them in my heart. As I do my part of yielding to you and trusting in you, I know you will do your part of being my Almighty, Show-up-and-show-out, Father. In Jesus name, Amen.

  62. Yesterday's chronicle poster, C will scatter your life. Is your dad aware that you gave A your account number and take his money that you sometimes don't acknowledge (like an entitled brat)? Guys who keep giving money to babes wey no like them, sha...

B is a pastor who said he heard God, so? Are you quarrelling with God, that you can't ask and expect Him to answer? Are you deaf or you don't have a personal relationship with God, so you can't be sure you'll recognise His voice?

The gullibility of Nigerians needs its own NAFDAC barcode. Abraham questioned God (Gen 15:1-2). Sarah laughed when God Himself spoke (Gen 18:12). Joshua, Gideon, Samson's father, and Mary all questioned angels of God. But y'all hear anything that calls themselves a pastor and mutely follow them, no questions. So, you stay trapped. What if B is the one who made you mysteriously ill in the 1st place, so he can look like a saviour? I'm asking cos two of my brothers-in-law are among occultists posing as Abuja pastors, doing terrible things to folk who believe them and won't know God for themselves. Weirdly, God used that to do brain reset for me & my husband, to make us run out from New Age crap - different story...

Even if B is telling the truth and is really a man of God, you do NOT marry anyone on the conviction of another person, oh! Cos na you go dey the marriage. All this "my father thinks, my mother said", hian! What will you do when storms come (and they definitely will)?

I heard God very clearly and more than once about my husband, from when I was 27. I wasn't feeling him AT ALL (we weren't dating) so I told God to "make me love him if he's really my husband". Cos of my previous relationships, I knew I couldn't risk marrying a man I didn't love. My husband says he's felt a pull towards me from the 1st day he saw me, like spirit recognising spirit. We married when I was 32 & only going back for confirmation to the God I heard, stopped me from divorcing him a few years later.

He kept something important from me and when it came out, I thought it was a bad joke. I was MAD at him and miffed at myself. From the day I asked God to "show me who this man really is AND his heart towards me", I'd have dreams and see my husband's ancestral line and village, where I'd hear words in his native dialect that I had no reason to know cos I don't speak it. But I just never understood or asked God the implication or gravity of what I'd been shown. And nothing I'd been seeing in the physical was matching with what I knew in the spirit. Yet, I'd be telling him things that spoke to the truth of his situation that I actually had no logical knowledge of and in my private moments, I'd ask myself why I was saying those things to a presumably regular guy. But I felt safe and at PEACE in my spirit to proceed with him, so I did.

The day I was told physically, I was torn between trying not to pass out and trying not to kill someone. I cried as if he died. Yet, I was relieved cos it confirmed stuff I'd been seeing and hearing for years. You see guys who tell you how ordinary they are? Just assume they're lying. My husband is without a doubt, the love of my life as I am his. I think of many things and this is actually the only man that I can be married to. I thank God for the road that led me to him. If not for him, I wouldn't be the person I am today. He is definitely who I was always meant to be with. Yet that conviction was sorely tested when I was faced with something I didn't like or think I was equipped to handle.

Don't marry based on even a suitor's so-called conviction. Better talk to God by yourself with an open heart. If only so you can have leverage with God to pray, "The man that YOU gave me to, when I was jejely on my own."

  63. By this time of the year, I’m always in a thankful and grateful mood...
At home.. we would start the prayers by thanking God for keeping us from January to December and all..
But this year I’m thankful you kept my sister from January till May this year. Thankful that we didn’t fall apart as a family.. Thankful you kept me through it as an individual. It feels guilty to be thankful for my life at some point.. But I’m thankful still.
