According to a witness who pleaded for anonymity, the incident occurred on Friday, 24th of January in Bauchi at 1.30am when an argument ensued between the two on why she (Patience) had the guts to speak with another man in his presence.
He beat her so much that she picked up a bottle to hit him and he in turn picked up a knife and stabbed her twice in the back.
Solomon was said to have fled the scene after the incident and Patience who had bled so much was subsequently rushed to a clinic for treatment. A day later, she was discharged, but the stab wounds degenerated and she died in the clinic after she was readmitted.
DSP Kamal Abubakar, the state Police Public Relations Officer confirmed the incident to NAN, adding that the owner of the clinic where she died, had been arrested.

ReplyDeleteThey arrested the owner of the clinic before he didn't fill incident report and submit to police station. In cases such as rape,gunshot, stab wound, suicide etc the hospital mgt will be required to fill incident report and submit to police station for appropriate investigation.
