The Bauchi state police have arrested three robbery suspects;Shehu Abdullahi, 20, Babawuro Jauro Sani, 27, and Wada Akili Musa, 25, for a robbery incident that took place on the 18thof February along Kano-Maiduguri highway.
The trio used heavy logs of wood to block the road and assaulted innocent commuters.
One of them, Abdullahi, in his confession, said that he was planning to use his share of the proceeds to get married.
Speaking to the police, Abdullahi said: “Honestly, I wanted to marry and I did not have the money. I wanted to use it to marry.”
