Former Footballer Joseph Yobo Appointed As Super Eagles Assistant Coach

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Joseph Yobo as Super Eagles’ Assistant Coach.





 Yobo replaces Salisu Yusuf who was caught collecting money to influence his team’s selection for the 2017 WAFU Cup in Ghana.

The NFF Ethics Committee sanctioned him with a fine of $5000 and a one-year ban from football-related activities..

    My notes here:
    1. NFF did not pay Salisu in dollar but they fined him in dollars. The fine is more than his annual salary 😊😊
    So is NFF collecting their (unfair) share of Salisu's alleged kickbacks?
    2. You did not tell us Joseph's coaching qualifications which is usually announced as a coach is employed.
    3. Let me warn NFF that Joseph is not as mellow as Salisu to tolerate all their non-contractual ways just like the present German
    coach has tolerated.
