ReplyDeleteBegins with Tiwa vomiting and her husband tells her it's because she's taking slimming tea and to reduce it. Cuts to show Shalewa at home with the mum disturbing her and always wanting to chat. Shalewa is tired of staying at home because now that Tiwa is in her husband's house, the mum's energies are concentrated on her. Mohammed picks up Shalewa to drive her to work.
Didi is in the studio and on air when a caller calls in and professes his admiration for her and wants to ask her out but she quickly ends the call.
Tiwa is meeting her hubby for lunch and over lunch, he tells her that she still introduces herself on air as Tiwalade Awosika instead of Tiwalade Macauley, and asks her why she still hasn't taken his name 6 months after marriage. Tiwa tells him on paper she's Tiwalade Macauley but at work, she wants to preserve her identity. Mide asks her if she doesn't consider him part of her identity and tells her he would gladly take her maiden name if she wants. They are interrupted by a family friend who comes to greet them and tells Tiwa that she looks very good and that she can see she is pregnant. Tiwa is annoyed at the woman's blatant assumption and tries to tell the woman she isn't, but the woman simply laughs and says Congrats and walks away.
Mide meets Derin at home where she hints that all is not well between her and Chris (that her Kenyan boyfriend) and she hasn't spoken to him in 3 months. Mide suggests her going to visit him in Kenya and tells her she has nothing to lose anyway. Derin appears to consider it.
Camera cuts back to Tiwa at work and her boss telling her that she has been promoted to M. D. Tiwa is unhappy at this news and when she gets home, confronts Mide as to why she wasn't told. Mide tells her he assumed she'd be happy and she tells him that he made her M. D. so that she would have less time and energy to focus on her 2nd studio job. Mide asks her if she would rather devote her abilities to an outsider than the family business. During this argument, Tiwa faints.
Camera cuts to show Tiwa in the hospital where a Doctor confirms she's 8 weeks pregnant.
End of episode 1.

ReplyDeleteIf for some weird reason (Heaven forbid), I was unfaithful to my husband, he will not be like, "I don't have any business with the other man cos you're the one I'm in covenant with." Lol. How please? What he will do to me is one issue but anyone who touches me IS my husband's business. In fact, you (and all that concerns you) will become my husband's business while you are still sniffing around me and are yet to actually touch me. That's part of the point of marriage. Folk are free to say he has plenty time on his hands or call him immature if they like.
Let me shock you - even God is NOT as "mature" as some of you would like to assume. You start stepping out on Him, He will not ignore. He won't just come for you. He'll come for whatever it is you're using to replace Him. He might not destroy you cos your behaviour hasn't scattered His dada totally, but you'd best believe He will destroy that thing so that others will learn and your brain will reset. So, you won't try it again even if that thing is the one that chases after you another time. Say He gives you a great voice, you sing trash music or spread the devil's message with New Age and other mess - you think He won't be jealous, really? If He keeps you quiet, it's for a while and it doesn't mean he's powerless or blind. The shedding of Jesus' blood didn't eliminate part of God's character cos a lion is still a lion - God can still switch from El Shaddai to King of Petty very quickly. You've not seen God remove lineages from existence cos just one of them touched His property?
If someone has been diagnosed with cancer, the only treatment is to consciously make it go away. The patient doesn't say, "Well, the cancer is a foreign body, I don't have any business with it so I will ignore." If that happens, the oncologist will probably call a psychiatrist and say, "Something else is going on with this patient. Help!"
If my child is failing and acting out cos they're not studying, distracted by toys or bad friends, I will make those things or people go away. It's after that I'll deal with the damage already caused AND whatever is/was going on in the child that caused them to think the thing I sent away was a good idea in the first place.
If you see a snake, insect or other danger on someone you care about - your first instinct is to get it off of them. Then, (depending on their age, etc) you can scream at them about why they didn't know better. If your loved one has ingested a tapeworm, you don't say, "It's a foreign body, we don't have any business with it". Foreign bodies you tolerate have a way of turning into entitled parasites.
So, this nonsensical advice of "ignore" has to stop. If you're flung out or harmed, the "ignore" folk with nothing to lose, will tell you sorry or laugh at you. Or both. However, not every problem requires the same strategy to be dealt with. Ask God how to do this one. I'm warning you DON'T go physical or any juju. But your dreams are actually good. You're fighting back. I would be concerned if you were lax about the situation in your dreams.
PS: This isn't a template for everybody, oh! You can only do certain things regarding someone God connected you with & whose head is naturally correct in the first place. Don't go and try it with someone that everyone knows has always been a community p*nis or v*gina, an abuser you're trying to "change", or someone else's spouse you're juju-ing or trying to manipulate. Some "prayers" are an offence to God so you will just waste your time and probably die for nothing. Go and repent cos the message up there isn't for you.
Please what can I use for heat rashes... The heat these days is so much, I've used calomine lotion, it cleared a little but the heat is still much so it has not cleared completely. It's on the floor I now sleep because at night everywhere is so hot. The bed is now uncomfortable, Nepa and their style no light.. Don't know why this year the hotness is much, I've never had heat rash before this time.

ReplyDeleteLast night I spoke to one of my long time girl and she was sounding like I am fed up with this life, I am tired of the whole thing, I want to kill myself, I want to die so that I can rest from the evil hand of this man. She was crying on phone, I have to listen allow her express herself. She said no one to talk to, the whole thing has been too heavy for her to carry. I let her tell me what was happening, God I broke down with her, how can I start crying when she needs me to give her the strength that she needed. Finally, we got to a point where I told her to think well, she should let me know her final decision by Monday. I cannot tell her to leave her marriage until she has made up her mind on what she want.
Lord please be with her, give her the grace to make the right decision 🙏🙏🙏🙏

But i woke up sad this morning my dear BV's, this date has always been so for over 3 years now☹️...Today marks a sad remembrance for me and my family,on this day 2016 we lost my DAD in the most inhumane way you can lose someone so special and dear to your life, there was no closure or anything😢...I MISS YOU SO MUCH DAD and no words can explain how terrible it is to know you are no more even if its been 4 years already😩, but i find solace in the fact that am turning out to be the man you always said you believed i will become and am keeping every promise i made to you before you were laid to rest, and pray God continues to guide and direct me to continue making you proud and happy wherever you are now DAD😢

Stella there are videos of the Chinese Govt killing people with the Coronavirus. One shows where they forcefully drag people to an underground gas chamber, another shows people being killed on the street. They used ambulance as disguise to come pick them up but the moment they come out, they are shot. It seems China has more infected people than they are letting on. I have the videos but it's not up to me to go public with them.
