  1. Do you sometimes feel like you take two steps forward but fall back by one step? This happens to the best of us. Success is not a linear progression. Many things can hold you back. The point is to not let setbacks deter you from achieving your goal. Keep going. You’ll get there!_muftimenk

If you don't do much it can last for 2 weeks. Meaning with just 100 naira you can stay online for one month. Won't that be enough seeing as you don't have at all before? ajuju ajua? There is also 200 naira for 1g every week on Mtn. Who do una this thing eh? na wa.

  14. World people, this is for you????

You people are getting on my nerves. Why are u trying to stop me from being my kind of person. Why??? Before I left Nigeria, I comment here with events happening with me and around me. I talk about my job, I talk about my progresses and set backs. I talk about basically anything I felt I wanted to share.

It would have been a different case if I was a silent bv prior to my relocation but no, I wasn't. Now that I have travelled, common sense should tell those senseless lots that I'd still post and it would be centered around my current location. I am excited to be here, there are lots of things I would always wanna share, either in excitement or things I notice or things that I think are off, so many things I wanna share but because some idiots, some certified idiots would ask 'are u the first to travel', I just keep some to myself and when I post, those jealous, bitter, never progressive, never do Wells will come and talk trash. Gosh!!! I have had it up to here with ur lots and I'm done worrying about what such useless elements would say.

I am not the first to relocate and would not be the last. God forbid!!! But I will enjoy every bit of my relocation. I have never used my relocation to mock anyone and always wish someone else experiences this bliss I'm enjoying now, even better.

For the ones yesterday that made the comment 'wait till reality set in'. I reject it and I send it back to sender. We are not illegals here. My husband has a good job and I will do everything within me to make sure I support and we will never get to the level of 'reality setting in'. Your hate will never ever take u anywhere, never. If u are suffering in Europe or wherever, its not my fault, its probably because u are never happy for anyone's good news. You can deceive urself but u know this is true!!!

I have decided, I will share my story here, I will talk because I like to talk, I will express myself here because I like to express myself. If its pedestrian traffic light I want to talk about, if its the blissful metro situation, I will. If it will kill u, let it!!!!

    5. Enjoy your life o, no two persons have same destinies in this world, my bro relocated very legal and he hit d ground running, this boy under 30 wouldn't have gotten himself a fancy house within two years if he was still in nigeria at his age and no grim reality set in, infact his reality set up n boomed.

      Delete
    6. Eka, you should not bother yourself. You can’t change people. I was telling a family member that l wanted to visit and he sighed. He complained bitterly about the security situation in the North. Left me with tears in my eyes. PMB, has ruined the country. I wish all my siblings were out of there. Just enjoy your new location.

    16. I dunno why this is a problem. If Naija isn't a hell hole for u it is for me???? Abi, what's my own if u don't agree?

      Delete
    17. Eka, share your experiences as you have always done. There is no reason to stifle yourself to please anyone. Just continue to be progressive and be a better version of yourself.

Btw, the only justifiable critique that comes to mind is the constant berating of Nigeria. It really is extremely unnecessary.

      Delete
    18. 14:31, not everyone in Nigeria is living in penury. If you were not living in poverty while in Nigeria, you wouldn't be thinking the way you do. It's unreasonable to project your past unfortunate circumstances on those you have no knowledge of. Let your mind be as developed as the environment you have found yourself in.

      Delete
    19. It is our own o. When you have your own country, you can tear it apart with your mouth as you want. As long as others like us are Nigerians, we have a right to challenge people like you when you use such words.

      Delete
    20. Nigeria being a hell hole isn't only because of bad governance but also the fault of parents. Parents who have more kids than they can cater for make the reality of Nigeria a bad one for their kids. Where children understand the concept of lack even where basic items are concerned, is the fault of parents as well as the government. So while people blame the government, they should also apportion some blame on their parents.

      Delete
    21. Eka drop your pride and take correction. You are fond of putting people down when they share their own stories and you can't even take half of what you dish out on a daily. You're constantly putting yourself up while you disregard others with I don't care attitude and insults. You are never cordial with your words. Always insulting and aggressive. Not every one live in penury here, so tone it down with the 'hell hole' thing and enjoy your new country and bliss. Live and let's live.

      Delete
    22. Eka, please carry on with your attitude. Since you have refused to take correction 'inside' your house, you will surely take correction outside. You think people asking you to pipe down are suffering or illegal? If only you know the calibre of some of the people on this blog. Some could have reached out to you to bless you in your new location but since you know it all, please carry on. I can't wait till you get your first corporate job. Na HR get you.

      Delete
    23. Live and let live. Some people cannot live anywhere else apart from Nigeria, meaning they choose to live here (some are even foreigners) and las las, na your country be this. Do the little bit you can to make it better. It is PEOPLE who spoiled this nation. God actually naturally blessed this nation with all it needs to be great.

    24. My husband has a good job here! I laugh tire. How much is he earning? Half a million pounds? A million pounds?
You will be shocked at how much some of us earn. Madam no one begrudges you your good fortune but learn to be less boastful and modest. You dish it but you can't take it.

      Delete
    25. In as much I don't like involving myself in conversations like this, I feel I should say something. Let's tell ourselves the truth and face the reality as it is. Nigeria cannot stand beside a lot of countries when it comes to development. What are we even saying? How many people have been killed, maimed, kidnapped in the past few months. When was the last time any of us had 24hours power supply (asides from those paying so much and living in serviced apartments)? What is the state of our health care and education in the country? How good are our roads?Unemployment nko? Okay..for those not living in penury, have you ever taken a trip to the north? Please let us say things as it is. So much money has been allocated for these things over the years and there's so little progress. We have leaders that pocket public funds and are still in our faces and yet nothing is done. Such things don't happen in saner climes. Salaries are owed, pensioners are owed, our leaders are getting richer. When you visit some developed countries, you go know say Naija dey learn work.

    26. Cool babe, No one is denying the abysmal state of Nigeria. Infact most of the people she is refering to live abroad and know how far Nigeria is to where they are in terms of quality of life BUT that is no reason to constantly be using bad words to describe the country. You can't be cursing a place or person everyday and expect growth.

    27. Just because you were earning 40k in your teaching job and lived in poor neighbourhood does not mean that it was like that for everyone...
You have to understand that some people cannot relate to this your struggle and will correct you for it...
My friend just got a job in an oil and gas company, his net pay is 1million monthly...
Don't think it is out of place for such a person to attack you for calling Nigeria "hell hole"..
Lastly, you are still using Nigerian passport..

  20. Back to more reasonable matter abeg, for the ones that suggested yesterday that I should learn a course, we are already searching.

And for the language, I already started a language class but it's just once a week but we are already looking for additional classes. Even supporting it with the app duolingo. Still have a really long way to go.

And yea, I did try to find volunteer jobs and the few I first saw were requiring me to pay to volunteer to work. I couldn't be angrier. I'm like, I want to work for u for free and u still expect me to pay. Hell no!!! One even asked for up to 600 euros. Abia!!!!

Still on the job matter. There's this Nigerian woman we know from church. Yesterday she asked me if I was already working and I told her no.

So she was like she will help me but I have to come see her in her shop. She's got two shops, an African restaurant and an African store in two totally different locations.

So she sent me to her store and was like she will send someone to open it for me and I can wait for her there and that if someone wants to buy something, I can just sell it. In my mind, I laughed, I said, see this woman oh, she don see unpaid labour. She's using igbo sense for me. But I sure wasn't upset.

And guess what, I'm here already in her shop, waiting for the past one hour and I don't care if she's using me or not, it's not like I stand to lose anything. If this is the means I'd use to get a job, either through her or someone I meet here, then what's the problem????

I lose absolutely nothing coming here. Have an unlimited bus pass so its not like I'm spending extra on transport.

But Nigerians will always be Nigerians sha. 😂

Segun's Sugar mummy is someone else's wife. Segun bought her flowers and she repackaged and gave them to her husband, who, pretending to take them to the office, repackaged and gave them to his girlfriend.

    His girlfriend is Seguns's fiancé...

The fiancé finally repacked and gave them to Segun.

Segun is now holding the flowers he bought himself and saying, "this looks familiar..."

    Well

    (1) In physics it is called "Circular motion

    (2) In Philosophy it is called "Karma"

    (3) In Chemistry it is called "Chain Reaction"

    (4) In Computer science it is called "Looping"

    (5) In Life it is called "what goes round comes round"

    (6) In church it is called "Back to sender"

    (7) In Deliverance, it's called "Familiar Spirit"

    (8) And in Nigeria it is called "nothing spoil!"

  28. @bv Ron, wishing you quick recovery. I was under the weather for few days too, but something happened when one afternoon I couldn't take it anymore, ( I was so weak and that was unlike me) I cried out to God and while I was sleeping, I saw myself in a dream with two people (I can't still recollect their faces) we went to a tabernacle, I could remember the tabernacle, it seems I've been there before. I saw lots of changes, the priest wasn't standing on the pulpit rather, he was sitting down while the people listened to him preach but, I was murmuring to myself and later telling the two people that were with me that the setting were changed. Half of the tabernacle was with pews while half was nothing. We were kneeling down on the side where there were no pews; while I was still trying to tell the two people with me that alot has changed in the tabernacle, my attention was drawn to the altar, that was when I saw the strong light reflection, like it was an open blue sky with bright lights shinning upon me, I was still trying to tell the two people with me to see the light shinning from the altar but, they were not hearing me.
The light kept shinning bright on me and I said it myself that I am healed.

Anyways, I remembered the dream so well that when I woke up at the middle of the night, I was just thanking God for His healing, thanking Him for answering my prayers.

In the morning, I took the thermometer to check my temperature, behold, my temperature that was 38.9 the day before was now 36.9. I was just thanking God and I feel really better now even though my mouth is still very bitter from the drugs that I am taking.

P.S. I went to the hospital and spent 48hrs, I followed all the doctor instructions and took my drugs, my nose drops etc... I prayed that God will make the drugs work while He stretch His healing hands upon me.

If u are looking for a val gift to give ur hubby, buy him a car, house etc. Nigerian girls shud have pass the era of buying boxers and tee shirt. A guy annoyed me today. While I was heading home, I was looking for a bus to board home. This unknown guy just stopped on the road and started asking me out. He asked me the requirements that will make him my bf on the main road. In my mind, I was just saying y not get my number and give me a call. My legs was already aching. I just called a bus immediately. I was thinking dude will run after me to get my contact.
