Amber Alert Issued For Nigerian Teen In Canada....

Oh My God!!!

An Amber Alert has been issued for 14-year-old Shammah Jolayemi.

Toronto police said around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday they received a call from a father concerned that his child was missing and he believed the boy had been abducted.

Police say the boy was last seen in the area of Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue at around 8:25 a.m.

It’s believed he was walking to school when a vehicle stopped and two men got out, forcing the boy inside the vehicle.

“We found witnesses who saw this and heard the child screaming ‘help me! Help me!'” Insp. Jim Gotell explained.

Jolayemi is described as five-foot-11 to six-feet with a slim build and short dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing a grey hoody and grey track pants with a thin orange stripe, a shinny black coat and black and yellow Air Jordans.

Police say a vehicle of interest was spotted when the boy was last seen. It is described as a black Jeep Wrangler with oversized front tires and a front brush bar with round fog lights.

Police are looking for two suspects, both wearing black jackets and bandanas on head, ages 18 to 22. They’re asking the two suspects to release the boy immediately to a safe location so he can be reunited with his family.

Police say they would also like to speak with Jolayemi’s step brother, Olalekan Osikoya. Osikoya is not a suspect but police believe he may have information pertinent to the investigation.

“Police are extremely concerned for his safety and urge anyone who recognizes him, or has any information about his whereabouts, to contact officers,” investigators said in a release late Wednesday night without elaborating on why it took so long to release the news about the missing teen.

We blacks don't know how to manage freedom and opportunities well, the same thing happening with our leaders.

    2. stop fooling yourself with ignorant comments, nothing wrong with relocating...there are a lot of Nigerians abroad who made that decisions and are doing well with their kids. it is this same naija schools are riddled with cults and all kinds of vices. naija or abroad we must take calculative steps to raise kids. these steps can include where to live, how to raise them etc

  11. Has Canada/Toronto become Nigeria now? Why is that anywhere Nigerians go, with a short time, they must manifest the blackness in them? Nigeria here, Nigeria there is getting just too much.

  13. Some comments baffle me. Kids and even grown women get abducted. There’s being lots of amber alerts issued. Some get found while some others don’t. Let us pray for the safe return of this kid. He did everything right like we tell kids here to scream for help.
