Bishop Oyedepo Says President Buhari’s Days Are Numbered

The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, a.k.a Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has said the days of President Muhammadu Buhari are numbered in Nigeria

Oyedepo, lamenting the state of the nation, described Buhari as a bad leader, adding that his government is the worst in the history of Nigeria.

He made the statement on Sunday while delivering a sermon during the second service of the church at the Faith Tabernacle, Ota, Ogun State.

According to him, Buhari’s government had no direction and is like a curse on Nigeria.

“In my view you are bad and you shouldn’t be a leader. I have the right to say so. As far as I am concerned, I am a true born and thoroughly-bred Nigerian, an intelligent one.

“In my view, this is the worst thing that has happened to Nigeria, this government. It is the worst and in fact, it is like a curse.
I led the first prayer and fasting for Nigeria in 1979, that tells you I am not a baby in the affairs of Nigeria.

“This is the worst government, a government with no direction. Their days are numbered. I can tell you as a prophet that their days are numbered.”

Oyedepo also made reference to the hate speech bill being sponsored by Senator Sabi Abdullahi

He went further to describe the bill as the most ridiculous and stupid bill anyone could think of.
The cleric queried the strategy of the government to criminalise hate speech while giving freedom to those who kill others

Oyedepo added, “The government in this country is making a draconian law – hate speech. They said if you speak hatefully, you have committed murder. Out of someone who says I will kill you and the one who kills, who has committed a crime? I don’t understand which kind of animal farm we live in.

“I said stop stepping on my toes and you said that is hate speech but somebody kills and he is walking free on the streets.

“This is the most stupid and nonsensical ideal anybody can think of.”from dailypost

    2. You are the fool here, what anoy11:21 is not true. Since Jonathan got booted out via election he has not shown any support for this government. Is this what the Bible teaches us about how to support people in authority. We are to pray for them.

    3. You are a compound fool. If not for his likes, Nigeria would have been ravaged. He has been at the forefront before your birth. If his congregation alone had listened to his cry, their vote would have made a significant difference. But no, they are Nigerians and deserve what they settled for. Be informed and guided before you speak in public.

    1. Shame on you for condemning the redeem pastors. I am a member of living faith but it's obvious bishop doesn't just like Buhari. This government was able to manage Corona virus that even great nations of the world are still battling with, he is not talking about that. Even non of the pastors wants to talk about it or even pray about it.

    4. Anon 11:42, which Corona virus? Till today, we've not seen any Italian man, we've not heard abt the flight and other passengers, even the man that was purported to be the Uber driver has come out to say he has not been in Lagos for a long while. So, which Corona abi covid are they talking about? Probably the ones on their greedy minds. As for Oyedepo message,he spoke the minds of 80% Nigerians. A country that frees Boko Haram and kills cattle rustlers. A country that every security apparatus are ALL from one region and religion. A country that closed borders for goods but open to dangerous Fulani kidnappers. We have never had it so bad. Any prayers by Oyedepo and other genuine moGs on this country and it's leaders, I say a loud AMEEEEEEEN.

This government is a huge mess and joke. Masses are suffering. That you see food to eat or have cash does not mean everyone does..
Which virus pls ?? May God help us in this so called Nigeria.

  6. Bishop Oyedepo has never pretend to like President Buhari so this is not a surprise. I can remember before 2015 election when his anointed Jonathan was in power all living faith churches in Nigeria check all their congregation before you can go into the church, over 200 students was kidnapped in a night yet his anointed is still a darling. Want thing I know and I an sure of is that this our president will complete his term. Yes his days are definitely numbered, he will and over in 2023 by the grace of God. What the Bible ask us to do is to to pray for our leaders and the peace of Jerusalem and Nigeria is our own Jerusalem. It is well with our nation. He has never for once condemned how Jonathan his anointed and beloved Christian allowed his Christian wife and Christian cabinet loots the nation and this government savage the situation.

    2. Anon 11:34 you pray for the peace of Jerusalem in Israel. That's the Jerusalem the Bible stated not that your own country is your Jerusalem.

Bishop Oyedepo stated the fact. This Buhari-led Administration has crippled the economy. Jonathan's administration did not fight corruption which was widely condemned but they grew the economy.
The insurgency was also a strategy to undermine his government.

Buhari's government is supposedly fighting corruption but corruption has quadrupled under him.

  10. He spoke the truth. It is not by force to like Buhari, everyone cannot like him. If you see the truth say It. People go about killing innocent people, wasting soldiers and you are rehabilitating such people? Is that not an insult to people who died at service?

  11. Buhari is really a bad news to Nigerian government. But, Let God be God.
