Ghanaian President Declares National Day Of Fasting And Prayers Against Coronavirus

President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on all Ghanaians to set aside March 25th as a day to seek the face of God and fast and pray against the pandemic coronavirus.

The country currently has 21 confirmed cases with 1 death and 8 people whose conditions have improved are being managed from their homes.

The president made the appeal to both Christians and Muslims while addressing the nation on Saturday evening, 21st March 2020.

He also pleaded with Ghanaians to comply with the measures put in place to stem the spread of the virus.

  1. There is nothing the lord cannot do. I love it when people turn things to God. God please we are helpless in this Corona virus issue. Come and help us. We pray in Jesus Name.. Amen

    1. Sochim.
Please change that "lord" to "Lord" let's know who you are talking about.

  2. At this moment it is only God that will save us, everyone has seen the level of preparedness of the country. Aso rock big men have started testing positive, if not God, who will save us.

  3. Lol. I hope there are genuine men of God there. Their churches are something else, they also have a lot of traditionalists that specialise in making money from empty pots.

    1. It's funny but at least we are making efforts all round. Both physical and spiritual.

      Omo Ghana.

  4. Stella the case is currently 52 here
