    5. Anon 13:18; are you me? I haven't had a good sleep in weeks now, on some days I get 3hrs of sleep and still have to go to work all day, yet I haven't collapsed. I just see it as a way of my body preparing for the coming sleep deprivation.

  5. LoL. Who told you new babies sleep at night, after all both of you didn't sleep when making your baby. Let me give you a tip remember to thank me later. If your mum or his is around feign a blinding headache or stomach pain and get them take watch over your baby some nights. Don't over do it oo, my mum later got wiser.

  16. the nipples are sore because you are not allowing your baby latch properly. ensure that the breast around the areola is in his mouth and not the nipple. i had the same problem while nursing my first baby. for the sleep pattern, thats what we cal motherhood. ensure that you sleep while the baby is sleeping, cut down visitors and let them know the time that you will be expecting them. if the baby is well fed and ok, she will sleep for longer period of time but if she is not getting enough milk, she will be sleeping for very short intervals and that can be annoying and tiring. pele, ku oro omo.

  17. You will be alright. There is this beautiful thing I like about breastfeeding babies. Sometimes they look you straight in the eyes while you are feeding them. Enjoy the moment. Hmmm, there comes a time when she will be biting your nipples. Lol

  18. I remember when I started breastfeeding whenever LO cried I panicked it was painful πŸ˜–

  19. Very painful in the first few weeks. Later you won't feel a thing anymore except when she grows teeth. As for the sleep thing, that is what we signed for. Up till now, I mean years after giving birth, I sleep less than six hours everyday. Motherhood distorted my sleep pattern

  20. Sorry dear. Give it some weeks more from now and you would be fine. As for the sleeping pattern, try to catch some sleep whenever baby is sleeping.

  21. The journey ain’t easy. In my 1st trimester and I can’t seem to hold anything I cook down so have opted to eating out and also on medication that controls nausea. Aside the nausea, metallic taste in thΓ© mouth and tiredness once in a while, I’m good and don’t remember. But meeeeeeen, I’m already tired πŸ˜“.

  24. When i had my first baby his first two months was rough for me.My son wasn't sleeping at night and he always cries loudly. One of my neighbours then was always pitying me whenever she sees me.
My second baby knew my condition then.I made she sure i fed her in night by 11pm or 12am in the night, she will sleep till 3 or 4 am.Then i will breast feed her.She will sleep again till 8am.The sweetest thing then she never cried at night, she always did blabbing sound whenever she wakes up
