HABIS CAKES IHN TESTIMONY

Thank you so much stella for all you do.

One day many years ago, someone contacted me to order a cake for his girlfriend who just returned from Lagos to Abuja and was used to very good cakes. His emphasis on delicious and quality couldn't be overlooked so I went all out for a red velvet cake with whipped cream frosting..

I have gone on to make every birthday cake of hers and of his, I attended their wedding with my husband and made their wedding cake and dessert spread, I made their child's dedication cake and birthday cake.

We catch up on one another regularly. We have become family.

They are my biggest testimony out of IHN Ad and they are people very dear to my heart. You cannot imagine how close we have all become as family friends.

It doesn't stop there, I have also been contacted by amazing people on here who have gone on to be a part of my life. We catch up on WhatsApp and they send me referrals.

I met my best friend on this blog. she is my sister now. A fellow baker, Rukky Flour Art, we met during the BAKERS COMPETITION, she was in sokoto then, but now in Abuja too.

I'm very poor with making comments on the blog and I hope to improve but know that I'm on the blog as many times a day as I can afford. We've come a long way indeed and the impact this blog has had on my business can never be overemphasized

Thank you Stella

This is amazing.thank you for letting us know!!!

For now, arrange for a dinner this weekend in a cosy place and pay the bills then take him home and give him good sex. Also give him good food always, keep respecting him and remain loyal to him. Always do what he likes and don't spill what goes on in your home to outsiders. Men appreciate women who do these things.
On his next birthday, arrange a surprise birthday party for him. He will love it.

On my husband's birthday three years ago, I made a surprise birthday cake for him, he was so happy. He said I was the first person to ever make him a cake, not even as a kid did he get a birthday cake. I had tears in my eyes. He still talks about it.
I will organise a surprise birthday party for him when God blesses me. A good man is scarce these days.

There's now over 50 positive reported cases here. My husband's company has told them to work from home from now till further notice

I'm wondering if such was in Nigeria, will companies be willing to let their workers work from home and still pay full salary?

We are now avoiding public gathering like hell. Going to the supermarket to do our panic shopping later in the day.

Corona virus will not be our portion in Jesus name.

  24. "Ohun ti o wa ninu igba kii jeki a le gbe igba lo nigba miran" - meaning :- *What's inside the calabash doesn't allow it to be taken away sometimes!*

My Grandmother called me one day and said Mojisola omo mi, I replied "yes maami". She said, *be strong in character, let your integrity be your navigator, don't fall for cheap blackmail, but above all let love and humility rule your life, because even the devil cannot resist LOVE.*

"Ah! Maami kilode"? I asked. Then she said, "sit down, let me tell you this story".

"There was a woman who was a witch. This woman was average in wealth but lost her husband which is the major reason she joined the coven. She had only one child who happened to be a girl.

This girl was well trained but she retrained herself. She was HUMBLE, LOVABLE, INTELLIGENT and exhibited LOVELY character always.

As the practice were, all members of this coven had to, at a point in time, bring their children for atonement. After a while, it was the turn of this woman to bring her only daughter.
But because this girl was extremely nice and lovely, she didn't have the boldness to use her. So, she requested for a favour from her colleagues (coven mates).

"Please my colleagues, I know I'm obliged to bring my own sacrifice, I have collected from you all, so you have to collect mine too. But please do me this favor, I can't bring this girl by myself, so, I will mystically put her soul inside calabash, and request you to come and pick it on a day that I won't be around''. Her colleagues accepted. They obliged her and gave her that honor.

So, on the said day, the woman did as she had promised, placed her daughter's soul in a calabash, covered it up and gave it to the daughter with some instructions. Don't try to open it, some women will come looking for me, just give it to them. She then left the house.

The lady kept the calabash under the bed and began to wait for their August visitors. At around midday, they arrived. As the lady spotted them from afar, she jumped up to meet them, knelt down and greeted them very warmly. She collected their bags and led them inside the house.

Immediately they got inside, she ran straight to bring cold water for them to drink. She also fetched water for them to wash their legs because their legs were dirty for effect of the journey. She entered the kitchen and made them hot pounded yam.

They ate and were satisfied. Then she went inside to bring the calabash and knelt down to say "maami ni ki ngbe igba yi fun yin ti e ba de!'' - my mother asked me to give you this calabash when you come.

They both looked at themselves, shook their heads and said, return the calabash.

When your mother comes, tell her that *"Ohun ti o wa ninu igba ko le jeki a gbe igba lo!"*

She passionately pleaded, "Maami, abi e nbinu ni?" - Mothers are you angry? No! They chorused! We are not. Just tell your mother what we said. She will understand.

Her mother returned and was expecting sympathizers to begin telling her what happened. But no one said anything other than the normal, "E kaabo mama."

She was getting close to the house, yet no cry from anywhere.
Haba! Ki lonsele! - what's happening? She soliloquised.

  26. Suddenly, her daughter saw her and jumped out to greet her, with warm embrace.

She promptly queried her; how about the people I said will come, didn't they come? She replied, Maami they came o! Didn't you give them the calabash?

She answered, I gave them ma, but they said "what is inside the calabash could not allow them to take it away''.

The mother looked up and with tears rolling down her cheeks, told her daughter, "Keep doing what you know how to do best!"

My Daughter, do I still have to explain the lessons in this story? I said, no ma, I understand perfectly. Eh heen, Omo daadaa; - yes good child, I know you are full of wisdom...

    Lesson Questions:

    1. Did you teach your children to be respectful, lovely and hospitable?
    2. Do you encourage them to teach their growing children same?

  35. ๐Ÿšซ * WARNING * ๐Ÿšซ

We warn all Africans not to acquire or search for used clothing during this period and also during the period to come, because in most European cities which are currently experiencing the spread of the Corona virus are getting rid of clothes of infected patients both dead and alive most especially in homes where people have been infected with the virus.

Many of those who care about ecporting these clothes do not care about the health of others and they now collect them with the intent to sell them to Africans who buy and import them to Africa. .

It would be better now and for your safety and that of your children to avoid the use of newly acquired used clothing.

Don't let this message stand up to you and try to share it as much as possible.

    1. How do you believe such stuff? Hahahaha so people go round looking for infected victims to collect clothes n sell? Kai ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

    2. BlackBerry, that warning post makes sense. A lot of condemned things still in good condition are gotten from dump sites abroad and clothes, furnitures and kitchen gadgets tops the list.

Even used face masks are being resold as new ones somewhere in Korea much less Africa that is known for contraband dealings.

    3. Perxian, CORONA VIRUS is a virus caused disease. Virus can't last more than 72 hours outside the body of the host. Google is your friend.

    4. Anon, the Virus can last on a surface or fabric from 2 hours to 9 DAYS. Google is also your friend.

    5. Perxian it takes more than a month for the okirika clothes the reach Nigeria after shipping the bales. Google is always your friend Prof.
How may days again did you say?

      Delete
    6. 17:10 9 Days..which is enough for the handler of the okirika to go back to his family with his possibly infected clothes and spread the virus unknowingly to his family and so on..

We can do this all day, pooh. Google remains your dearest friend.

    7. Prof. Perxian this is not English class.
If you say the person that tied the bale will contact the virus and bring it back to Nigeria and infect his/her family I will understand, but saying the virus will survive outside the host body and live on the OK clothes till its arrival to Nigeria , it is a lie. Read my handwriting IT IS A BIG FAT LIE.

This is biology not English. Google is definitely your friend willing to help you, so you have to want it to help you.

  36. There’ll be times in our lives where the Almighty will allow us to go through things that we don't understand. We must trust that there is a purpose behind His plan. That’s faith. Always believe that He wants the best for us. He will work things out eventually! Without a doubt!
