Friday Gistscafe - When The Wicked Perish...

The gistcafe is a better version of the Ofada sauce ....hehehhehe
You come in and the aroma of gists cover your nostrils

The Bible says that when the wicked perish, the city rejoices right?
Does the Bible describe the crime for labelling someone wicked?I am asking because Nigerians have supposedly been rejoicing at the news that one ''Oga at the top'' has passed on from Coronavirus complications...

Is this the kind of News to rejoice about? What Bible passage backs such?Anyway,I don't think that gist is true, nobody die as at today, maybe tomorrow but nobody die.....

The truth is that Corona brouhaha has affected some kinda sweet gists and even the ones i have i cant seem to verify them because some people are secretly quarantined and some are on self isolation.......

Harmattan breeze everywhere ooooh...

If you have gist, drop for us......

Nigerians are rejoicing because freedom has come to them as the person is dead not because he is dead but because freedom has Finally come.

  6. One thing I was taught in life, is never to rejoice over the death of anyone even if the person is an enemy. Reason is that, we will all be gone someday. Whatever it's, only God knows better.

  7. Chronicle of a weight watcher!I made pancakes for the kids this morning cos they love it,they ate small and refused to eat the remaining. I don't have anybody around to give them so I had to eat all and afterwards I felt so guilty. Pls how do I balance for this excess calories I took in the morning? I want to use pineapple as my lunch

    3. No need to start feeling guilty. The deed has been done. Just eat food low in calories for the rest of the day. If you still feel guilty, add more reps to your exercise this evening to burn more calories. Basically, just move on. It will balance out within a few days.

I have eaten a lot of junk food in the last couple of weeks, I just resumed my journey back this week and I am almost back on track. Just keep pushing.

    8. The easiest way to add weight is to eat your kids leftovers. If it can't be preserved, trash it. It will cost you more to shed the weight you will gain by eating them so as not to waste it.

  13. The wicked is someone who stands against the progress of people...The cry for freedom is what is driving the Rejoicing but we forget that our Problem is not just the Leadership but ourselves.

  14. Proverbs 11:10 When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy.

Wickedness in the Scriptures equates to "taking of lives, idolatry, greed and covering it with hypocrisy"
    Let's see e.g.

Genesis 19:7 -Lot told the men of Sodom, not to do "this wicked thing...against men that came to shelter under his roof"

Genesis 39:9 No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me
except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such A WICKED THING AND SIN against God?"

Study the Scriptures and see that Jesus never said "woe" (a curse) to sinners but to the wicked, the hypocrites.
What he told sinners was "repent for the kingdom of heaven is near". Of course if sinners do not repent, they are
bound to die and spend eternity in hell.

But he told the Pharisees and teachers of the Law "woe to you ...for you devour widow's houses and for a show make
lengthy prayers...you will be punished more severely..."Luke 20:47
And he continued "... you are like white washed graves...beautiful on the outside but inside are full of dead men's
    bones"

You see that "wickedness" always involves the death of people, the loss of lives?

Make I drop my yarns mic here for now 🎀🎀

  17. To the guys still adding me up from singles and mingles. Thanks but it will help if y'all introduce yourselves. You can't just start chatting and expect me to play along cos most times I'm busy even with the lockdown so I need to know who you are. That post was in Dec...we are in April. I actually forgot that my nos is on there so when you start chatting like I wrote that shit yesterday, it won't work cos I have alot on my plate plus distracted.

Also that I said that I'm single doesn't mean I'm desperate to date anyone...this is to the fool with the bad English saying he just came back "from the abroad" meanwhile on Truecaller is Ike Shoes (not real name). Nna, respect yourself...your babe dey Yaba market with u biko, find her lol

    2. Dear, never look down on any man. Most men like you just described end up becoming better men than the made men you desire. What if he's an importer of shoes? Currently, I will tell you something. Most genuine men are now disguising themselves in finding a wife. Believe me when I say this to you. So take it easy with people until you have a reason to doubt them.

    3. I had actually turned down someone in London so not the frigging point. Read and understand una no go hear.

    4. You mentioning "his babe dey Yaba" speaks volumes. Continue looking down on others you hear.

    5. My dear. Speak louder abeg, she must not choose a guy who is struggling it’s a choice, not everyone is interested in a hustler we are past that we know our worth and guess what we have a choice and options. We are free to choose and she chooses a man who is equal to or above her not below! My dear have standards and stick to them, don’t ever date or marry down because some freaks in society with low self esteem say that. The girl or lady that thinks she is ok with waiting for a guy to make it can go right ahead. I hate seeing thoes type of stupid comment, find your mate and go for that please. If you guys were In her position would you just pick anything? As she said she is not desperate she also knows whT she brings to the table pls!
