    6. It's blockade. Cutting off supplies and aid coming in through land and sea. That's an extreme warfare strategy, maximum pressure if you will, leading to hunger, starvation, neutralization (weakened enemy's army), and ultimately surrender.

    7. @Da epic pen, you are well read👍

    8. Imagine this! Where are the loud wealthy Lagosians? In some parts of the east people are not waiting for the govt because their better off brothers and sisters have been organising food and money for their communities. No social media posts just quietly looking after their own.

    3. What are you saying Shyla? I'm having shivers just looking at these pictures and imagining what you're saying. That is how the Chinese went on eating everything alive and look where we are. Some things should just never be eaten.

  12. Inasmuch as this is nauseating, it is reflective of the current harsh economic realities which have compelled many Nigerians to resort to desperate measures to survive. Rats!!! Asin the ones inside sewers, gutters, broken toilets (sorry for messing up your breakfast).
The sad thing is that our nation can't cater for the citizens not for lack of resources but due to avarice (uncle of greed and selfishness).
To Mr. President, WOEmanitarian Minister and other selfish politicians congRATS for subjecting Nigerians to untold hardships.

    2. This is very terrible infact all I see is d second picture where lots of plates are lined up, just imagine plates are lined up to get rats. Of everything RATS!!!
Even for us who are staying home, bills are already piling especially some of us who work in d private sector. No work means no Pay
I just pray this pandemic doesn't push Nigerians too hard

    3. People have been eating rats , cats and dogs before the lockdown. Those who have never eaten rats will not start because of the lockdown. These are just isolated cases. Let's stop over dramatising. Possibly the pictures were just downloaded from the net by one mischievous element.

    4. @Alexander the Great, the same way bad elements have been robbing with guns before the lockdown. Possibly, 1 million boys onslaughts on Lagosians are just tell-tales. Common, let's stop minimizing this issue. Some Nigerians are taking desperate measures. The carpenter we read that broke in into a shop because of hunger. People stealing pots of soup. And you think eating rats wont be a walk in the park.

    5. Might not even be in Nigeria. Once something is posted, some people mouth go dey sharp . When it's refuted, they will still say I said it. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️

  22. This is a reflection of the situation at hand.

  23. E don reach like this? 😔😔😔

    ReplyDelete
  24. This can't happen in Epe home of plenty foods of all kind. Epe is more like food basket of Lagos state, as fishes, snails, wild life, plantain farms, yam and plenty other goodies. Secondly, Epe population is roughly 200,000 making it the least populated in LGA in lagos state.

  25. Mice and rats are edible. Whats the difference between house mice and bush rats? Its just the size. Thr ones in our homes are mice and not rats and the ones found in bushes are rats. Its a delicacy in most parts of nigeria. People it monitor lizards, frogs, birds, snakes, iguana, horses, ostriches, bats etc if your culture abhors it, its accepted in others. Most of you who travel to dubai have eaten horses, camels and have drank their milks ...Make i go defrost the crocodile meat for freezer, happy sunday darls

  29. I cant even look at those pictures well! I pray this covid -19 will make our politicians to have a re-think. As they cant travel abroad now for treatment, if they can think about our health sector and education sector for once!

    ReplyDelete
  30. These are not Lagosians, they are economic migrants from other states they are the ones giving Lagos and Lagosians a bad name. Lagosians are too tush to engage in primitive behaviour like this.

  31. Abeg you people should know there is Lassa fever in Nigeria oo. We are still crying of hunger from Coro lockdown, you people should not add Lassa fever lockdown to this oo...
