Primate Ayodele Says Coronavirus Will Not Go Away Unless Govt Relaxes Lockdown And Allow People Worship In Churches.

WHAT.............Am i reading this properly or what?
Somebody should please tell me that my headline is wrong after reading the story!!

The founder of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has warned that the COVID-19 pandemic might not go away until next year.

The Daily Sun reports that the cleric, who is famous for his prophecies, also warned that more prominent people will die after contracting the Coronavirus.

Primate Ayodele, however, listed three things that must be done for the outbreak to be contained.

“This Covid-19 will not go either today or tomorrow. If care is not taken, it may extend till next year. More prominent people will still die of the virus, but God may still avert this imminent calamity if our government urgently takes certain steps: one is to relax the ongoing lockdown to 6pm to 7am.

“Two is to allow our churches to hold services, praise and pray to God. But under the strict adherence to measures out in place by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

“Three, our rich men should stop donating money directly into the covers of the government. They should give directly to the people, although such exercise should be supervised by government agencies,” he said.

    1. Its God that protect but you live in a house with a gate, door and lock? And when crossing the road you look left, right and left again bah? God protect and you bother to wash you food before eating, go to the hospital when sick and avoid people who you suspect could do you harm if they get a chance?

    1. I don't understand why they keep saying this over and ove. What happened to praying and fasting in our homes for now? What happened to praying online with other members of your church? Why must we all be under the same roof to pray sir?

In South Korea, the virus started spreading from the church, the video is on youtube, go and watch it.

    1. If this is a fact to you, then you need help.
If the virus spread, most of you shouting hunger will not remember food again, you will running for safety then, won't be talking about work..

I have never see anyone as confused and backward like Nigerians when it comes to rational thinking.

    6. Anon 12:22 and co,had to make that comment cos people are hungry...no palliatives for most eastern States which is not fair and dangerous too.Even if this ends next year, govt will always pay me! Una get mouth cos you have what to eat and sleep well at night

    7. I understand what Dietitian is saying. Don, our government needs to find another solution. Not this copy and paste solution from the western world. Our economy is different from theirs. Apart from people in paid employment, so many people aren't finding it funny at all. We are allowed to go out to get essential things in an open market which isn't safe. Friends and family has been calling for help. These are people that have never asked me for a penny because they have their business they run. So many of such people aren't captured under the palliative schemes.

Now in my area, so many shops are opened with nobody buying. On a normal day,by 2pm, meat would have finished in the market. I went out around 5 and saw so many meat sellers with their goods on display. The stalls are empty and competition has set it. Prices have dropped back to normal but where is the buying power.

The north is saying farmers need to farm because the raining season is here and this is the time to plant. Most of the things we eat comes from there. Imagine if nothing comes in from there, what would we do? We can't start tilling the ground in our backyards now else hunger will strike before harvest.
      Even money will become useless.

Let's figure another way out of this mess. Even the IMF is beginning to see that this strategy isnt sustainable in a region such as ours.

My prayer is that this pandemic ends very soon. We can't continue like this. It's not working. My friends have started flashing me, me too no dey return calls again. The effects are beginning to set in. Now imagine how others will be terribly affected.

  11. Gone are the days they bamboozle people about the Truth of God. An American Pastor failed to adhere to social distancing and died of the virus last week. A lot of them think Anointing is gragra. The ones who wait till Sunday worship are the ones who do not worship. Let him keep deceiving himself there.

  13. omg now it's over, 90% of these so-called men of God are scammers. Imagine just because of your own revenue people should mingle and crowd themselves to church. Even the devil is not as wicked as these greedy fraudsters.

  15. The Bible says cleanliness is next to Godliness, same Bible says obey those in authorities. Even the Bible talked about rules to be followed in the time of pandemic. So what is this man saying? I really cant comprehend how some religious leaders behave. Lets say the government hid to his advise, lets churches hold their service and then everyone becomes infected and die, will this man not say it's the will of God? How? when he's ignorant. Even the Bible in Hosea 4:6 said "My people perish for lack of Knowledge". May God help our country.

  17. Just because your funds are getting low.. You need top up tour account via offering and tight as usual.... They suppose lay you down and wipe you properly for this speech... Hehehe

  18. Sir pls pray that the virus stops instead of all this. So we don't pray or worship except inside the church.
Pastor building churches and not the people.

  19. Same man that swore that God told him Saraki will be President. It's all about money for the Nigerian Pastors, they are so wicked they cant be bothered if millions get infected, so far they come to their church buildings to pay Tithes and offerings.
