Social Distancing Directive Violated As Buhari's Late CSO Abba Kyari Is Buried In Abuja

The late Abba Kyari was buried on Saturday April 18,2020 in Abuja and the social distancing directive to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus was seriously violated.....

I hope that all the people who attended  the burial will isolate themselves for two weeks beginning right now?I MEAN RIGHT NOW!!!

You see Nigeria? People that died of Corona virus is not given an open burial. The authority takes care of the burial not the family.

I want to believe that His corpse isn't there but an Empty coffin.muslim don't bury with coffin .This must be a charade to deceive us.

    3. I watch it live the body was removed from the coffin wrapped in a white cloth before he was buried.

    4. Muslims don't bury with coffin right. But he was put in a coffin because the body was flown in from another place. You can't just carry ordinary body inside a plane like that.

Same happened to my Muslim boss.

The body was removed before and was buried without the coffin.

  10. Stella, I'm so upset. I just watched the burial and what the heck? They violated the official guidelines of cremation by burying is body, eventhough other countries have the options of direct burial or direct cremation, the point is NCDC guideline says cremation so that's offense number one. They flew his body from God knows where is offence number two. His wife requested to see his body, although I sympathise with her but the families of the 16 other people that have died in Nigeria didn't get that option to say goodbye to their loved ones offence number three. Hundreds of people gathered first in Maitama and then in Gudu for the "private burial" offence number four.
What I find most abhorrent is how the burial was conducted. I know muslims don't bury the dead in coffins (I know is an Islamic thing but other muslims nations bury in coffins) however, what I don't understand is why an exemption can't be made in these circumstances, I mean an Islamic burial means his body was bathed by people chanting prayers and wrapped, then how can he be put in a coffin but then removed from the coffin to be buried? What's wrong with us in Nigeria. Will burying him in coffin send him to hell? I just pity Abuja residents, I hope these people's foolishness will not start what cannot be finished.

  17. The way people are violating rules especially our leaders, then I am scared for the future of Nigeria concerning Covid-19. How can leaders be violating rules like this and u start arresting people for the same crime?? Why is the man being buried when their are rules? Its a shame that we don't follow rules in this country, we only break them. So sad!

  18. I heard he was cremated and that's his ash being laid to earth.

  19. See the type of country we have. See the type of animals in human bodies ruling US.
No Social distancing. See them passing the shovels amongst themselves. Some had no PPE at all. No gloves. See crowd!
Omg, do they know the gravity of being there?

Is Gudu cemetary isolated or outskirt of Abuja? I fear for Abuja. Another round of pandemic that will come ehhh!

So Bubu no go him COS burial!

  20. If you believe that that man was inside that coffin, you will believe anything.

  21. I weep for my country. A Covid-19 death and people are gathered like this. What happened to social distancing! What happened to not releasing corpse to families! Are these people less than 20?

I have never supported breaking rules and all,did not support Funke Akindele hosting a party at home. The government,or should I say Lagos State government should just apologize to Funke and co. Nonsense!!!

  22. I watched it and couldn't help but wonder why our leaders keep acting like big time illiterates.

For crying out loud this man died of a deadly virus and they all came out enmasse to bury him.

    What!!!!!

Weren't they meant to be on lock down and at home?

Are they immune to the virus?

Wasn't his corpse meant to be cremated by NCDC?

I weep for Abuja and Nigeria as a whole.

Abj figures will experience big time geometric progression.

    Stay safe and home people.

  23. Did d family bury him? D pics above are of NCDC officials handling the corpse.

  24. Cremated what!!!
I watched it and a body not ash was brought out of that coffin. Or was it a cow in human form that they all lifted out of the coffin?
Joor he wasn't cremated. Ivwas a body that was intered in to that grave.
Another thing, that grave did not appear deep enough. See them struggling to put tge body then someone will come and telk me it was ash.
Ashes inside cow or dead ram! Or what.
Don't be decieved, Abba Kyari's body was buried in that shallow grave.

  27. @Blackberrry are you okay? How many corpses of the COVID-19 victims has NCDC officials buried b4 now? Is there no law against gathering of more than 20 people in Abuja again? Abeg let's reason well, I've not heard that NCDC released or buried d corpse of any COVID-19 victim b4, I wonder why Abba Kyra's own is different, with this crowd that gathered. If you even watch the video live that AIT showed, then you will wonder more why that happened. There was even a scare of d arrival of d presidential task-force on COVID-19 during the burial, yet nothing happened. It's just a pity and I just hope that by next week or two, we won't hear great rise in d number of COVID-19 patients at Abuja.

  28. Same way I was shocked when I saw the burial on AIT news.
    1. Why will FG allow that kind of burial? All others that died were they buried in the cemetery? We're they released to their families for burial?
    2. How can they all gather there in cluster(no social distancing)?

Nigerians will not hear word, go out to market and you will be shocked that this social distancing is not been observed. People carry along like they are immuned to the disease.

    God will help us.

  30. This burial will definitely do damage to the COVID19 effort in Abuja. Have you seen the video of one of the pall bearers who removed his PPE at guru cemetery and left it there. The way he removed it touching it with his hands. Lord have mercy .
