Sunday In House Gists -Karma Is Real

There are two types of Karma -Good Karma and bad Karma!!!

According to wikipedia,Karma means action, work or deed; it also refers to the spiritual principle of cause and effect where intent and actions of an individual (cause) influence the future of that individual (effect). Good intent and good deed contribute to good karma and future happiness, while bad intent and bad deed contribute to bad karma and future suffering.

In Layman's Language,it mean that you Reap what you Sow...

Have you ever experienced good or bad Karma or you know someone who did?
Wanna gist us?

They say Karma never misses an address....

    1. Reverse is mine
Whenever you offend me, I don't need to cuss you, I'll just give it little time the person will be dealt with in a big way

To crown it all, if I should shed a tear the person is gone beyond recognition until I forgive such person

I don't cross my boundaries so don't even try to cross yours with me
I'm just looking at some people's comments here

  2. I don't believe in Karma. I have seen way too many exceptions to this rule.

    I believe in Grace.

  3. True. Like that Asaba woman whose 1st Son killed her other sons. Karma bit her real good. She committed so many atrocities in Asaba.

  4. Never experienced bad karma.
When you are good, you are good!!! Most of the time, it’s God’s grace that covers us.
As a human, be content with what you have. That’s one rule to living a free life. Your friend or sibling is doing well in her field, you feel jealous and wish to take that happiness away from her.
You go xtreme to achieve your aim....pulling her down.
For some, they never want to see you happy or that you are excelling more than them.
Someone has what you don’t have, wahala.
One of the few reasons people do all sorts of terrible things is cos they're not content.
Be content and see how freely you live.

  5. There is nothing like karma it's just what people say to make themselves feel good or to discourage people from doing bad ( which is good). karma is not like a computer that is programmed to do a certain task i.e what you input is what will become the output.. life doesn't work that way, anything that happens is just a coincidence. Good people suffer alot while bad people enjoy and vice versa.. it's just life but you will face your creator to answer your deeds

  6. No be only karma na kamoru.. It's all bullshit, nothing like that. innocent and good people gets punished all the time while the "supposed bad ones get away" and nothing like generational curse or karma.. who do us this thing in Africa?

  7. My uncle and some other family members gist me of how my aunty dated and snatched a married man in the 80s, it was terrible and pathetic for the wife, My aunty was 25 that time and couldn't get a husband when she met the man and she was dating him until the guy fell over heel and eventually left his wife for my aunty. The wife was so heartbroken that she later died of high blood pressure, Well my aunty has 4 kids with the man and till today she is still enjoying her marriage, the man still worship her like a god, even her children are married too and they are very successful. So there is nothing like karma. it's all bollocks

    2. And then eternal judgment will spare her?

    3. I know someone with exactly the same background story, only difference is she died at 36, leaving kids behind that the first wife is now taking care of.

      Delete
    4. 15.47 that’s the most annoying part. As long as she repents, she’s good.
Worse, because the original wife died, the man is actually a free agent and this woman won’t even need to give up her marriage because it’s now legal even in the eyes of the church.

  8. A person escapes retribution when that person repent of his/her deeds.
That is the difference between "Karma" (as taught by religions) and
    the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Gal. 6:7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
Romans 8:1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you a free from the law of sin and death.

I do hope these two Scriptures have explained it.

    1. Repentance is good but you can't totally escape retribution by it. Did David escape retribution even after he repented?

      Delete
    2. @16:11
Read and understand Romans 8:1.Now.. No condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus...
Talking about "now" is talking about the New Testament era where Jesus has come and died and resurrected.
And he went forward to explain..."those who are in Christ Jesus".
David was disciplined by the heavenly father, Jesus hadn't died for anybody's sin then.

    3. Okay, let's have a case scenario, you took bribe and bear false witness, someone went to jail as a result and still in jail while you said you have now repented but you are still enjoying your bribe, maybe you invested it or bought a property but you are enjoying it and cos your conscience will not let you sleep, you cry few tears and ask God to forgive you for your evil deeds. And you claimed old things have passed away?meanwhile someone is still in jail oh because of you.abeg please we should stop deceiving ourselves.Old things have passed away is when you sin against yourself and God.which is still sin. You are the type in the above scenario, if you don't make amends,
dont deceive yourself that old things have passed away oh. Everyone will not get karma as expected cos the higher being don't judge the way we do. But everyone will be rewarded according to their deeds.

      Delete
    4. @23:46
I did not quote "old things are passed away," did I?
The person that took bribe and bore false witness should (persuaded by his conscience)
do what Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10) did. If you are deceiving yourself, I am not. The Bible
contains the revealed truth that God gave to man. You are inexcusable o man Rom. 2:1

    5. Mr dear. You should be more worried that nothing is happening to aunty....because it means either she pays for it when she is old and vulnerable or her children or even children's children...that one is. The worst!!!!!!

  9. I don't believe in karma, it's just what people say to relieve themselves. It's a pure coincidence if someone hurts you and they get hurt in return. Life isn't program that way

  11. There is karma o,we have a new beautiful HR Manager that was newly employed in our establishment,I was to work under her. Although,I was older than in age,I gave her respect but she frustrated me big time.

Meanwhile,we had another manager heading a dept who likes me so much,he gives cash to fix one it two things a ladies can help fix since he is a guy such organize surprise for staff working in his dept.On such occasion, he gave paid cash into my account to fix things for him and reported to my immediate boss and carried her along. This turn table around that I should make cash official like send mail, gave me 7 days suspension without pay.

I went and cried to God and God said leave the battle for me,surprisingly I forgave her and we move on. Months later, aunty was sacked because she has dating junior staff, infact Aunty release company’s bank statement to embassy and send her boyfriend abroad with the hope of them getting married there. The fuck boy Aunty when he got to ovoid oyibo and my Md got the info about the affair, asked IT to hacked Aunty system,IT did, come and see revelations both from her personal Whatsapp’s.

  13. Mine was when i was in school,i had this friend then who was a bit older. This lady helped me when i was in need of accommodation, not that she gave me money but she helped me look for a nice place for herself and I. I have always noticed her domineering and envious attitude but i waved it off. I used to have a lot of "toasters" then and anyone of them who offered to take me out i do take her along. One day one fine young man who happens to work in my school micro finance bank then asked me out. Although he was married and i promised myself not to have anything intimate to do with him but this man was just so caring. He helped me financially in school then and any money he gives me i would share it with my friend not knowing that this lady was not happy with me. I didn't know how my boyfriend who stays in another state then got to find out that this man do come to my hotel. Coincidentally, this girl just stopped talking to me for no reason. This had been happening for a while but I ll chose to be the mature person and wave her attitude off. But this particular one made me make up my mind to not also talk to her. This went on for over a year. Then she came to meet me and apologise. She later helped with accommodation for two of our friends too later that year and things were going on smoothly. One day she had an issue with the landlord and he asked her to leave her house. I pleaded on her behalf and also asked her to apologize which she did. She later started resenting the landlord and started behaving so annoyingly which even resorted to a physical combat between she and the landlord. The landlord eventually asked her to leave his house. I couldn't even interfere as she was the one at fault. What baffled me about her character was that she was also trying to advice the three of us to also leave the house since she was the one who brought us there. I refused vehemently and that was where the battle begun. She started resenting me too and also speaking ill of me together with her two friends. When i boarded the same bus with them, they will start insulting me indirectly.I have always had a thick skin for things like that though so I didn't mind them. Fast forward to a new session after they had been evicted, two of them got pregnant and were so ashamed to even walk past me in school. I couldn't help gloating but I controlled myself. At the end of everything, the three of them are no more best friends and they eventually started attaching themselves to me. Two of us graduated while the remaining had an extra year because of the unplanned pregnancy.

    3. So let me get this straight. You were carrying on with a married man who was wasting his family resources on you and your were upset that your friend disapproved?? On top you were two timing your boyfriend?? And yet your friend's bad attitude is worse? okay o

    4. Anony 16:21..your comment, your problem. For your information, all these were in the past and if u choose to judge me based on this, well, dat's your headache not mine. Let who is without sin be the first to cast the stone.

    5. 16.21 na so I dey wonder ooo. The karma for your dalliance with the married giy is probably still cooking, you are here castigating your friend.

    8. Dear Bitter anons, stop being pained by my comment and get a life. I'm not the cause of your husbands' cheating ways. Everyone has in one way or the other hurt someone and their karma came knocking. The said friend snitched on me due to her envy because i don't see any reason to collect the money given to me by the said married guy if you weren't in support of my ways .I never slept with the said married man because I will never think of destroying another woman's home and aside that any one can choose to help a lady without strings attached. So please stop concluding that every lady who had a relationship with a married man slept her way into collecting things from him. No be everybody bad like una.Judgina Anons🤣🤣

      Delete
    9. My dear, it's not until you sleep with someone before it's called cheating. There is what we call EMOTIONAL AFFAIRS which is just as bad.

Question for you: How would you feel if your husband is JUST TOO CARING to a girl outside and GIVING her money, even though not sleeping with her?

If I were you, I would admit my wrong, confess to God and move on RATHER than trying to justify what you did as alright, cos sis it's not.

      Delete
  14. I used to think Karma was a joke, until my mum, s customer who always cried about her husband's cheating!! She continued to pray and cry, until He died like a common chicken in a hotel in one of his crazy get away!!! The disgrace was so much that even his friends found it hard showing up for his burial! It still embarrasses the children till today!!

  17. There is no karma, I assure you that good people receive their blessings in Heaven and bad people are rewarded on earth by their father, the devil, who is the ruler of the world. Joseph, Jesus, Job, were all good men but look at what they experienced on earth.

    1. Alot of people chose not to believe in karma so they can console themselves of their evil deeds.

    2. Not every bad thing that happens to a person is karma. Yes it could be as in the case of Haman who wanted to destroy Mordecai;but it could also be a test as in the case of Job, or destined to fulfil a purpose as in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

      Delete
    3. You are right anon, it's not every bad thing that is karma. But that is not to say karma doesn't exist. Believe it or not, when it wants to strike, it doesn't give warning and screaming am karma. You will probably think your uncle or your aunt in the village is doing you. Stella ,you would asked those that did evil and got away with it to come tell, not people that think others got away cos you don't know what those people that you think got away are dealing with. I know someone that was sleeping with her friends husband while her friend was pregnant and got away with it. The friend never found out or don't know if she ever did.but the betrayer is married now and has been ttc for some years. Am sure she will remember and the guilt would be out of this world. An sure the pain of ttc would be more pain than the friend would have felt by her betraying her with her husband. Of course, it's the same story, the man was tempting her with money and she took advantage ,going to the man's office without her friends knowledge

  18. I believe that even when we repent of our sins, sometimes the consequences aren't taken away just like in the case of David and Uriah's Wife.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I believe that too, especially those premeditated sin. It's easy to fornicate and repent, old things would be passed away. But when your evil is wreaking havoc like that of David and uriah, and you didn't do restitution. You think you are not born again and gbam, old things have passed away.excuse me please. Even in the new testament people are quoting. We are told to go and restore what we stole, right the wrong we did even though God has forgiven us, if you don't right the wrong my sister/brother. You will still be rewarded according to your deeds.

  19. We have been raised differently...
experienced differently....I can boldly say that Karma more real than real itself....biblically for every sin there are consequences...that is 'penance'..saying karma is not real is contradictory to life values and theories....
I think the confusion here is just word-change and registers.
