    1. Ah! Novel ke? Those are Macmillan Primary English textbooks you are writing about. That means you are very good at cramming. Well-done ma.

    2. These stories were in MacMillan and not novels. Ali and Simbi were in primary 1 text, Edet lives in Calabar...he is 8 years old, every morning he goes to school, in the afternoon he goes to the shop....lol...that was in pri3. I think Agbo was in primary 4 text.

My favourite among those four would be Without A Silver Spoon.
    Ure Chokwe!
I read books by Enid Blyton, Astrid Lindgren, Hans Christian Andersen, Lewis Carroll, CS Lewis.
Books in the African Writers Series written by- Chinua Achebe, Flora Nwapa, Cyprian Ekwensi, Buchi Emecheta, Peter Abraham etc
Practically all books in the Pacesetter series and more... I love reading even though it’s getting harder to indulge nowadays.
One item my bucket list is to have a library in my home with all the books of my childhood and more for my children to gorge on.
God willing, they will imbibe the reading culture whilst young like I did.
