Five Year Old Boy Stopped On The Highway Driving To Buy His Own Lamborghini With $3 In His Pocket..

I dont know if i should laugh or act shocked ......

A 5-year-old boy from Utah wanted his mother to buy him a Lamborghini, and when she refused, he got into her car and attempted to drive to California himself to purchase one.

The child's planned multistate journey, however, ended roughly five minutes after he took the car when a Utah Highway Patrol trooper pulled him over on the freeway Monday around noon.

In a dash-cam video released by the department, the SUV the boy is driving is seen weaving across the freeway as cars and semi-trucks whizz past. The child pulls over to the shoulder of the road after the trooper activates his sirens.

"How old are you? You're 5 years old?" the trooper is heard saying. "Wow ... Where did you learn to drive a car?"

The boy said he had left his home in Ogden after he got into an argument with his mother because he wanted a Lamborghini and she told him no, according to a tweet by the highway patrol.

"He decided he'd take the car and go to California to buy one himself. He might have been short on the purchase amount, as he only had $3 dollars in his wallet," the tweet read. The luxurious sports cars can start as low as $200,000, depending on the model.

Highway Patrol Lt. Nick Street told NBC affiliate KSL in Salt Lake City that when trooper Rick Morgan stopped the vehicle he thought it was going to be an impaired driver, not a child.

Morgan said when he approached the SUV, the little boy was sitting on the edge of the seat so he could reach the pedals. His head barely reached the headrest behind the steering wheel.

The child only drove for about five minutes from his home to the freeway when he was stopped, KSL reported.

"I helped him get the car into park, shut the vehicle down and then we started to look for means to contact his parents," the trooper said.

The Highway Patrol was able to reach the boy's family, who said his parents were at work and had left him in the care of a sibling.

Street said no one was hurt and it's not believed that any property was damaged, but the boy's parents could still face charges.

"We're counting our blessings (nobody was hurt) but that doesn't mean a high-risk situation that put a lot of people's lives in jeopardy (didn't occur)," he said. "Based on that, we'll talk with the county attorney and see what charges they would like filed or screened with them and we'll do that."

  1. Train up a child in the way of the Lord and when he grows up, he will not depart from it. Prov. 22:6
A lot of parents are materialistic and end up training their children to be so even without knowing.
A child imagines and demonstrates what his mind is filled with.

    1. The parents have a mini van. How are they materialistic?? Most of our grandparents, did not have cars. Some of our parents did but we, the kids have better cars now. Were our parents materialistic?? Just asking?

It is not about what they have, it is about what they want to have.
What do they discuss or watch/allow this child to watch?
Who told a 5 year old boy that there is a car called lambogini in the first place?
Who gave a 5 year old boy $3? And he did not want to use it for candies or cookies
but Lambogini? That is what he was tutored to worship.

    3. He is a genius! He desired a Lamborghini and he will ride one someday. I believe the Lamborghini company executives took note.

****can raise her child not to desire earthly things.

    4. ... or he could become a rascal if he is not curbed now.

Now his parents will face charges.

I hope the sibling the parent left to care for him is 18 or older.

  12. Is this a joke ? 5yr old...Thank God nobody was hurt as a result of this stunt.
But that boy needs serious punishment. Imagine $3 to buy Lamborghini, how did he even get the $3 in the first place. His parents and siblings are way too careless. They all deserve punishment

  17. You said that because he came out alright by divine providence through an alert trooper.
If he ended up in a fatal crash, his being DETERMINED would no longer be so admirable.

  18. You do not have to be 18 at least in states I’ve lived in to babysit. You can legally babysit at 13 years. They teach them CPR which has an anti choking module and give them electronic real life looking rubber babies that cry for feeding and wet diapers like real babies. The one my baby used was so annoying I told her that’s not how often real babies cry and get changed and fed! We hid it under a stash of laundry once my baby slept off watching her as if she was really babysitting at 13. She told us that was mean as if it was a real baby we put clothes on but the thing kept waking us up with it’s cries so I offered to help her.
She was afterwards allowed to babysit for neighbors though we stopped it as I don’t know how the men are or if they have exotic pets in the basement! Incidences like this happen though not often as these kids are always with you unlike naija where you can leave them home with maids. Children of today are very sharp and you don’t need a key to start some cars so be careful around your babies and kids. They watch what you do and have no sense of danger!
