The NSCDC state commandant, Habu Fari, said the woman was arrested in Obene town of Keana Local Government Area of the state following an intelligence report.
According to Habu, the husband was rushed to the hospital after she stabbed him with a kitchen knife following an argument about a phone call from a purported strange woman.
Speaking to newsmen, Veronica who is a month pregnant said she regretted her actions as she only intended to scare her husband with the kitchen knife but ended up killing him mistakenly.
She pleaded for leniency as her action was not deliberate.

Jealous ppl are not to be taken lightly. A woman tried to fight one of my aunt when she saw her talking to 'her man', the man was our cousin. These jealous ppl live in an alternate world they've created in their heads.
