The popular televangelist stated this on Sunday while preaching during a church service at Salvation Ministries, Headquarters in Port-Harcourt.
The renowned cleric said what Nigeria has is the normal malaria that Nigerians are seriously immune to and not Coronavirus. Making reference to the experience of the Founder of DAAR Communications, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Ibiyeomie questioned the alleged treatment they were giving to coronavirus patients and expressed serious doubts over the daily statistics issued by the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control, NCDC.
Ibiyeomie also condemned the borders closure and lockdowns declared by the Federal and State Governments due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
He also condemned the use of facemasks even when speaking, describing those who wear the face masks as "masquerades".
Watch it HERE
Another confusionist is here.
ReplyDeleteGod had exposed you fake pastors.
Tueh, tueh. And he has educated followers???
DeleteIts possible
ReplyDeleteTrue
DeleteSMH
ReplyDeleteI think there is coronavirus but its not as serious as its being portrayed the NCDC figures are exaggerated. Open borders and resume movement abeg, all the government boys I know have hammered from this pandemic.
ReplyDeleteHammered what? Shallow minded you. I feel so sorry for you and your reasoning.
DeleteWhen people like this say this it's no wonder so many people don't believe corona virus is in Nigeria. Believe them at your own peril.
ReplyDeleteI saw the fear in the eyes of doctors who thought they had been exposed to the virus when a patient died. I saw how they quickly sanitised the whole hospital and precautions they took. At a point they were chasing patients home and attending to only emergencies. These pastors shouldn't allow the devil use them.
Why are this pastor disgracing us
ReplyDeleteNa wa ooo, this embarrassment is too much
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ leave them ooo..
DeleteI believe you pastor but please just help us to visit one of the supposed corona virus patient in any isolation centre near you and please don't wear a mask while visiting and maintain close contact too. I just want to confirm something
DeleteLol @ 18.04.
DeleteEhen! They haff come again oo๐๐๐. #idonbilivit!!! Issorai...
ReplyDeleteI am tired jor.
ReplyDeleteSwag Don tire๐๐๐ see no mind them oo..
DeleteJust come Catholic..
Wetin dey happen for catholic.
DeleteI stand gidigba for my pentecostal. Nothing dey move me.
Ahhhh
ReplyDeleteCOVID-19 is real
Did he really say that?? I don't believe it.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmn
ReplyDeleteI think it’s high time federal and state government starts arresting these pastors for inciting the people against the government. Federal government is bigger than any church and when I watched the video, I just said the government must arrest this man for saying they are falsely using covid 19 to collect money and that there is no covid in Nigeria, this pandemic has exposed Nigerian pastors for who they really are, numb skulls and delusional and very wicked people.
ReplyDeletePeople from other countries have been claiming this same thing and no one has called for their arrest because there's something called freedom of speech.
DeleteIt is only in Nigeria that u will see people telling and supporting the government to keep abusing people's rights.
The onus lies on the government to keep enlightening the people about the corona virus instead going out arresting people that haven't committed any crime.
I don't know about arresting him though but something has to be done cos the kind of power religious leaders wield isn't something to be overlooked.
DeletePeople will most likely believe him than any government officials.
Clean conscience fears no accusation! U arrest him, u just gave his theory a new dimension...
DeleteArrest him for exercising his freedom of speech? ow many people has Trump arrested?
DeletePls don't disrespect the man of God. It is for your own good.
DeleteCome on now..If this is not hate speech then I don’t know what is.This is very misleading and is capable of turning people against the govt as we are seeing here in the US.If people are made to believe there’s no Coronavirus they will start to question why they are being locked down and rebel. This man should be arrested, locked up and the keys be given to the Boko haram leader.
ReplyDeleteD, is this u under anon?
DeleteYou are the only person this wicked, insensitive and callous here.
Pls rest Eka joy or whatever your name is.this person is saying the truth.dont be fooled by all these pastors
DeleteWhat truth is the person saying anon15:07, please leave Eka alone mbok.
DeleteVery daft of him to say that. And these people are meant to be ‘leaders’ of people, can you imagine how many people that he’s going to mislead. Smh
ReplyDeleteIt’s very irresponsible of him but then ,ppl can chose to believe him or not.
DeleteHahaha... Its Well o...
ReplyDeleteSomething about this pandemic sha. Only God knows the real deal!!
ReplyDeleteDon't listen to this.
ReplyDeleteThe government may not be truthful about the situation of things but saying there's no virus is not the truth too
What truth do we need. A young boy told me today that he didn't believe the government because they weren't giving names and showing them on TV, I then ask him God for bid you got sick from the virus and your picture is everywhere would be able to your street knowing who we are he said Nooo and said that he now understand why government are protecting peoples identity.
DeleteAtiku's son and others who declared, are they stigmatized? There is no corona virus in Nigeria as portrayed. very few cases and people are just eating money.
DeleteDaddy G.O are you alright?
ReplyDeleteLolzzz @ your question.
DeleteI don't think he is alright ๐
DeleteWow
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmmnnnnn
ReplyDeleteI follow you dey say hmmmmmmmmmmm
DeleteOooh goodness what is wrong with these individuals.
ReplyDeleteGbafuo ๐๐๐๐๐๐
Na wa....o,this man is too enlighten for this na
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of rubbish is this na???? Even though I don't totally believe the figures (I actually believe people are being diagnosed wrongly) but for a supposedly learned person, a pastor at that to come out and say there's no corona virus in Nigeria is totally disgraceful.
ReplyDeleteWhy do these people keep giving fools reasons to attack the church na. Because they will leave the man now and start attacking Christianity.
Pick a struggle you hypocrite.is there Coronavirus or not?if ur answer is yet then shut ur tramp.
DeleteYou're just unbelievable.
DeleteYou believe the million cases America has but not our cases.
Lmao. We're not even testing enough sef, DP keep wearing your Thomas pants.
Test kit that we didn't manufacture, you are still doubting.
I wonder what will happen if the test kits were manufactured here.
Tufiakwa.
There is nothing different between you and that pastor you're condemning.
You're both on the same ignorance high.
Just different levels.
Stella post oo
Contd...To think you called someone wicked up there.
DeleteHave you seen yourself?.
Believe this man at your own peril.
ReplyDeleteNawaaah ooh. There's corona Nigeria. This pastor should stop misleading innocent people. Hiaaaan.
ReplyDeleteNow we know those that are in it for another thing. So Trump, America, Italy, China etc were strangling their patients ehh kwa. I still respect and love Pst Paul Enenche, as a doctor,he knows better.
ReplyDeleteDe? Dont count on it . hahahahaha him go soon drop the remix with worse claims
DeleteNa dem. Why would he believe when he is among the folks that have wanted to open the churches for their own reasons using Christ as excuse instead of doing what oyibo they copy have done.
ReplyDeleteFor you to believe the virus is in Nigeria, make out time to visit a real isolation center.
How these folks talk about using this virus to make money especially those that are supposed to be in the know beats me
I was leggit hoping he won't do this. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteMay God help us to know his true followers. How can a pastor say all these things? I hope he will be happy if people listen to him, and die from this virus.
ReplyDeleteNo problem, he should go to the nearest isolation center and minister to them without face mask or gloves since it is all made up. Nothing has stopped him from going to them but he is staying at a safe distance talking rubbish. This is what happens when you have stark illiterates in positions of power/trust. On what basis did he come up with this? So he thinks with the way Nigerians behave as though catching this virus is only for bad people, Kyari's family did not think to say he died from malaria abi? Honestly to prevent people like this encouraging people to go out and get infected or spread it, they should sentence them to a month in an isolation center so they catch it and change their tune to preach about how real it is.
ReplyDeleteSeriously Pastor, oh wowzaaa. Uncle pastor please stop the disgrace. You can imagine how much disgrace you've brought upon yourself. I'm disappointed, Kai .
ReplyDeletePastor Ibiyeomie, you are supposed to lecture your congregation on this and not the other way round.
It's obvious this drying of pocket you guys are experiencing this period of lockdown is affecting your brains. Phweee
๐๐๐ eujiparv
DeleteHow is pocket dry sef These dudes before lock down had a lot. Why is 2 months pinching them?
DeleteLol... He is being misquoted. Whoever gave this summary here quoted him out of context.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love this man o.
ReplyDeleteMost Nigerians, using BVs here as case study, are confused. Initially, they were screaming that the cases are more than reported, now it is the other way round.
ReplyDeleteI think such people derive pleasure in being in the opposite side of the government. SMH for una, believe this....... at your own peril
I ain't supporting any body but in this Nigeria the virus isn't as black as it is painted. The virus is so real. I concur.
ReplyDelete,,,,,,,,Covenant
I think to resolve this, the government should invite the pastors claiming there's no COVID-19 to come and stay at the Isolation centers. Let's see if they'll go
ReplyDeleteI concur.
DeleteIt takes a thief to know a thief!!!
ReplyDeleteI do not judge pastors, I leave the judgement to God. I listened to the video and what pastor ibiyeomie said is very CONTRACDING, he said there is no coronavirus in Nigeria I.e 0% and later said he doubts the statistics of NCDC as the no is not as many as proclaimed.
ReplyDeleteWhile we all are entitled to our individual opinions we should also be careful of what we say as it may have a deleterious effect on gullible followers.
Pastor Chris also said corona virus was caused by 5g and that caused alot of controversy in and outside his church.
If the government has put a law that everyone should wear face mask and a man of God pastor David tells his members that wearing face mask is wrong, you look like a masquerade, it is going against the laws of the land. If such his members are caught on the road by Governor wike, what will they say; our pastor said there is no coronavirus and wearing face mask is wrong. Will he come and bail the from the isolation centre.
These pastors should be careful of what they say and should not dabble into dirty politics of covid 19 funds. Religion is truly the opium to the poor. I suggest we should have church sessions of atleast 25mins of active interactions where members should be free to speak their mind, correct their pastors, argue constructively on what the pastors says.
Peace and healing to the world.
I agree
DeleteYou made vaild points.
Deletegood idea
DeleteNo need arresting them. Most of these pastors should be called for a conference meeting at Abuja titled; When will the church reopen. They will rush and come.
ReplyDeleteThe government should carry all of them to different isolation centres and hospitals, let them stay there for months and perform their so called miracles...pastors to be carried. Pastor david, chris, oyedepo, apostle Suleiman, tunde Bakere, vice president, odumeje the lion etc
๐๐คฃ๐
DeleteThis is unbelievable...
ReplyDeleteSeriously man of God?
ReplyDeleteThis man donated masks, ventilator and many more to UPTH.
ReplyDeleteWHY IS HE NOW SAYING OTHERWISE.
God forgive me but that Raymond dokpesi should have been left to treat himself. God deliver us from unreasonable people in this country. Pastor David, I won't say anything against you but you pastors should remember to be led by the HolySpirit before speaking. At the end, we will stand before the throne of Grace and give account of all our deeds.
ReplyDeletePls pastor kindly meet Dr Doyin Okupe and let him gist you about his experiences. I just pity gullible Nigerians. God save us
ReplyDeleteLet the pastor visit the isolation centres to verify his claim. Referring to Dopeksi who is not a doctor and who sounded sarcastic is not right.
ReplyDelete
