    1. For me, i think its just a matter of time before the gang robbery and raping gets out of hand. Trust ne , the same government will not protect you and yours. Hunger can turn people into something else. Your cool neighbor or close friend will no longer be cool and understanding.

The important thing is to keep safe and be hygiene conscious. Let's see how the 2 weeks go and hopefully, some moneybwill be made. But be very careful and observant, there will be influx of a lot of (soon to be) expired goods coming out from the big markets.

  4. I really don't want to go back to work now, but I don't have a choice.
So I will do my best to protect my self and leave the rest to God.

    1. It's not even that. It means once you're dead, you're dead. You can only die once.

    2. Anon its talking about what's happening right now. Can't you see the reopen in the statement

  8. True.
Most people have been broke before but not dead before.
Lord I don't want to try the latter.

    1. That's not what it means. It simply means if you mistakenly die once, you're dead for ever, Even if it's as a result of being broke, God forbid.

  10. anybody who doesn't want to come out, pls stay in your house and allow us that wants to go to do so, no body will force you to come out. If only some persons know what hunger is doing to some families you won't be complaining. To know how bad hunger is, go and see those pictures of starved kids during the civil war. we were starved during 1967-1970 civil war, we wont let that same system to starve us again .

    1. I'm telling you. Hunger ain't a good thing. Everyone claiming they have been broke before and bounced back, was the economy back then same with what is happening now? No one is forcing anyone but just know that when shit hits the fan, government will abandon us and Nigeria and abscond abroad with the funds they could lay their hands on.

    2. Nobody cares if you want to go out and get infected, the people who don't want to go out are just scared that people like you will infect innocent people that have tried to stay safe by spreading the virus.

    3. And to think that you're educated is what I find more bewildering.

    4. Young man, your comment only shows how ignorant you are of the present reality and how young you are. Were you alive during the civil war? Do you even know what a war situation feels like? This is about staying alive and keeping safe. Go out if you must but for a good reason and keep safe. May God help us to apply wisdom .

    5. I get your point Dede. It is well.

    6. @cholat noir, can you please teach me how educated people reason, i mean the particular pattern, miss, there is no single way of reasoning and i will nt comform to your way of reasoning becos you dont like mine.If it was about being educated, i believe you are educated , pls what solution have you provided aside critizing others opinion. Nigeria went ahead and adopted the system that works for the developed nations (lockdown) without sitting down, study the situation in Nigeria and provide the measure that will suit us, becos lockdown is not for an underdeveloped nation as us,we have to see what happens after 2weeks. cos when hunger hits, you wont be safe in your 'highbrow' area. I hope you hear about the robberies and rapes, did the police do anything, instead they denied such happening, then imagine what happens in weeks to come.

  14. I am still irritated that no concrete measure has been taken by the government to help its suffering citizens at a time like this when source of income has been removed.Few cash really would have gone a long way to alleviate the pains of some families this period of lockdown, instead they chose to do it in their own usual way and left hundreds of million people unaided. What a shame!

  15. Those words ๐Ÿ‘† is a fact๐Ÿ‘Œ

  16. I really do not blame some people who want to go out and hustle for their family. There's a hunger thaybhits you and you become desperate to do anything. Especially when you have little kids at home and you can't continue watching them cry because of hunger.

If only our government were honest and not partial in the sharing of palliatives, most people wouldn't mind staying at home even if it's for two months. But then, you want people to stay at home with no food, no light, it won't be easy for some.

Before, you go ahead and start bashing those clamouring that the lockdown be extended, kindly put yourself in their shoes first and see if you'll do any better.

I pray God continue to watch over us.

    1. When it comes to a virus that spreads like wild fire killing people like flies, instead of putting myself in their shoes I would rather be in their shoes because I know I will live to fight another day than to be infected with such a deadly virus the whole world is struggling to contain and battle.
