    3. My thoughts exactly, Eka Joy. Only that wish to be politically correct 😁. Having said that, all women are beautiful. Some are more beautiful than others, while some are phenomenal! Phenomenal/classic beauties is what wins the crown! Look at Ms abeni Darego... Her beauty is undisputable. That's to say, there are some beauty pageant winners that make you wonder, "how come"? That's not to say that they ain't beautiful.

  13. Is there anything special on those that won? It's just that bringing this up now, is petty! Those pageants are just avenues for training whereby you leverage on to move ahead. This is twenny twenny abeg

  14. I trust Ihuoma to clap back 😁😁

  17. Let go...
Perception about beauty pageant? Well it's not for the faint hearted, asides physical beautiful, you need a functional brain as well and also be versatile....

  18. Above all,it depends on the judges, it's not an online thing where popularity, large fan base or winning people's hearts matters..
    ..the judges decides

  19. As someone who has been behind the scene in the organization of a beauty pageant, there's a lot of things that go on in the background. In one, the big sponsor wanted his girlfriend to win. You can imagine what happened. Make I stop for there.

  20. Too much ego here. So after all this time and all that is happening in this world, even her own country and state this is what is on her mind. Mtscchw.

  21. Well like they say, so many things going on behind the scene.

  22. Beauty pageant these days is a big set up.
As long as you can sleep with some organizers or buy the winning prize, you are good to go.... beauty is a plus. I’m not even joking.

  23. Girl you sound thirsty go drink some water. I’m not gonna say you did or didn’t deserve to win, because I didn’t watch, but you sound really really thirsty.

  24. Mbgn is a scam now..who takes them seriously?

When Isabel Ayuk won and couldn't go for MBGN because of football age and they didn't dethrone her

Or when Adaeze Igwe said her state is special because they have had 3 governors in a year and still won or

The year when Unoaku won, she wasn't initially called among the top 15 or 10, maybe her name was initially omitted but they realised almost immediately.

I stopped watching religiously after Ayuk. I hope their house is in order now

  25. Lol dear 4get about the past let God b the judge

  26. Allow her speak her mind or probably heal as the case may be. I am not usually interested in beauty pageants, especially in Nigeria because nah scam.

  27. The annoying part is she still plays supporting roles in movies, never she was once a beauty queen, even though i always wonder why they don't cast her as the princess instead she plays the palace maid or princess best friend, when it's obvious she's more beautiful, i what happened to her in papeantry is still following her

    1. You are mistaken. Watch her movies

  28. Most often , other factors contribute to winning the crown. Personality, carriage, demure, ability to answer questions, facial expression and talents and height.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Please you can't tell her to forget the past , it's because we forgot our history that's why Nigeria is in this great mess and will continue for some time,if we don't address the politics in Nigerian pageantry ,Nigeria will never produce another Agbani Darego in the next 100 years,a lot happens behind the scenes

    1. Okay. But how does beauty pageants affect the average Nigerian as a collective? I cannot tell you who the winner of World or Miss Universe was in 2017. Nobody cares about these things. Some of those winners move on to successful lives and others move on to misery.

It is better for her to enter politics or some field where she can effect meaningful change in the lives of the average Nigerian, then she will get a true crown that nobody can take from her.
