The government of Burundi on Tuesday announced the “unexpected” death of president Nkurunziza, aged 55.
Nkurunziza had recently agreed to step down after a 15-year rule that was characterized by brutal crackdowns and economic stagnation. His chosen successor won an election last month that was marred by irregularities.
Na wa o. Only him fifteen years. Africa and its sit tight rulers. Rest In Peace.
ReplyDeleteSDK but he loks really young in d picture
DeleteHe was just 55 that's why he looked young in the photo. Fifteen years is too long for one person to rule. Power must change hands.
DeleteRIP.
Rest in peace sir
ReplyDelete@Black
DeleteWhich peace, did he sow peace?
Did you not see that word "dictatorial?"
Rest in peace.

ReplyDeleteHe probably didn't want to step down,God stepped him down. African leaders are nothing to write home about!
ReplyDeleteSome of the most useless and theiving.
DeleteWhere is his power and greatness now? Why don't he use his earthly power and might to rise back out of death? All the money and power and still just another dead man whose flesh will rot and stink.
Preach!
DeleteAnother youth like yeye Bello who had opportunity but too greedy and wicked to do the right to put his country in shape.
DeleteAnd its really sad !!
DeleteI dont know if it's a curse 😕 african leaders seem to be cut from the same cloth .
RIP🙏🙏
ReplyDelete15 years ke! Na wa. He should rest in peace, let another person rule.
ReplyDeleteMission accomplished, he want to die as a president.
ReplyDeleteRIP
ReplyDeleteAdieu
ReplyDeleteSay it, Adieu!
Please let's cut out the pretense.
Which peace is a "dictator" resting in.
Doesn't a man reap what he sows or did we read
that he repented of his atrocities? 🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️

DeleteWell maybe the p in this context stands for pieces .
It can never be well with the wicked no need to pretend .
Rip
ReplyDeleteRest in peace. I hope you weren't 'taken care of'.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, just watched on news over 500 people attended George Floyd burial, and social distancing wasn't observed. Is COVID19 not real again?

ReplyDeleteStella do your research, the guy died of Covid19. His wife was airlifted to Nairobi, Kenya for treatment of the same. I'm a Kenyan and I tell you the wife is in Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi. They probably doesn't want to cause further panic on Covid19, but that's the latest news in Kenya.
ReplyDeleteHe should have stayed there forever nau, wicked people.
ReplyDeleteSomeone ruled for fifteen years and we say we care about human existence.... Rest in peace of you so wish or better still come back and continue.....
ReplyDeleteCovid19
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised he was airlifted to Kenya for medical treatment.
ReplyDeleteSo you're telling me for the 15 years he ruled, he couldn't equipped the hospitals in his country?
Africans are all the same!
