Nigeria's 1st Lady Aisha Buhari And Presidential Aide Clash Over COVID 19 Fears...

According to Thisday, there were gunshots are the Presidential Villa Abuja when First Lady, Dr. Aisha Buhari, members of her immediate family and her Aide-de-camp, Usman Shugaba attempted to force Sabiu Yusuf, a Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari into self-isolation....

The incident, which is regarded as a ‘security breach’ happened after the Yusuf returned from Lagos State where his wife just put the birth.

The newspaper reports that trouble started when the First Lady, Zahra, Halima and Yusuf, accompanied by some of her security aides led by the Aide-de-Camp, went to the residence of Sabiu, who is the President’s nephew, demanding that he (Sabiu) self-isolate for 14 days, so as not to endanger the first family.

Sabiu was said to have escaped after gunshots were fired by the First Lady’s ADC in an attempt to apprehend him..
He ran to the nearby residence of President Buhari’s cousin, Mamman Daura, where he reportedly spent the night.

The attention of the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, was drawn to the incident on Friday that gunshots were fired in the precincts of the Presidential Villa and the IGP ordered the arrest of the Aide-de-camp to the First Lady and all the security aides that accompanied her to Sabiu’s residence.

Selfish woman dat is only after her own interest. First lady with no pet project, has made zero contribution since being First lady....what shes good at is fighting her inlaws and wailing to Nigerians abt it.

    6. At Beds and Roses. She is the wife of the President and it is our business to call her out when she acts in an indecent manner. This woman is the First Lady and need to be a role model just like Michelle Obama and other First Ladies and stop being some ratchet ghetto tough. She need to realize that she is not a private citizen and think twice before she acts like a tough. Stella, please post my comment

    7. I now believe that this woman is a big troublemaker and if not nothing, she should at least respect her husband and also the position she occupies in the country and stop acting like a tough.

      Delete
    8. WELL SAID @Anon 13.14. Enough of her being a troublemaker and it doesn’t make her husband look good when she acts in such manner

    9. The bad part is her children following her to fight all these people and you wonder why our society has lost its moral compass! This woman should curb it

    10. I hope it will be that same energy when someone comes into you all's household after traveling to a high risk state and refuses to self-isolate. Aisha Buhari is a trouble maker because she has refused to conform. May God help us all.

    11. Thank you Kiks
To the anon asking her to be like Michelle Obama, i ask if Obama's family were all over the white house intimidating his wife?
When you meet in-laws who lack respect for boundaries, you will understand why Aisha is the way she is... may God bless her for standing up to protect her family.

    12. Abeg the woman is a hypocrite. What im saying is why come to SM and announce it,she doesnt hav IGs number; is it a national issue?. Nigerians have alot we are dealing with. Aisha's marital issues with inlaw and staff should not be our headache in a pandemic and rape/murder era. She shld deal with it privately.
Very wicked woman. They locked up a man for months because of her daughter and she was behind it. Bcos dat one innocently bought her sim card.
Pls dont compare Michelle Obama who was constantly having programmes to benefit Girl education, child mortality, women empowerment are things she championed.
This buffon called Aisha is all about her benefits and her kids.

  2. I ask again, where is Mr President in all of this brouhaha? Is there something they aren't telling us? Aisha, suddenly is becoming a force to reckon with in Aso Rock. Who will fire gunshots in Mr President abode if truly he's in charge of the territory? Is that person mad? Something somewhere is absolutely wrong.

    1. I seconded you in asking, where is our President?

Something fishy is really going on in Aso rock they are not telling the people on Nigeria.

    2. Teejay, all these questions e na ju does not in any way concern us please!! The president can be anywhere, it's not our business biko. Let them carry their various crosses like we've all been carrying ours. Another Black guy was shot dead in Atlanta, another female student aged 21 was yet again RAPED AND KILLED IN CHURCH I think in Osun state, these are the matters we should be discussing biko.

    5. If Aisha isn't fighting with Mamma Daura family, she will be fighting with Presidential Aides. What is really happening?

      Delete
    6. At Teejay. Well said. She is becoming a nuisance by acting irrational. Just because she is the President’s wife gives her no authority to take the law into her hands. Michelle Obama or Melania Trump will never I’m billion years or in their dream acts in such way. She is becoming a nuisance and the media should call her out for this kind of unbecoming attitude

      Delete
    7. At Teejay Exactly. She need to be called to order. President wife should be a role model and not some troublemaker that thinks that she is above the law!

      Delete
    8. The news is that the president has dementia, so he has a hard yime remembering his own orders or anything at all. Imagine how the cabal would use that to their advantage. They can get away with so much corruption, or have him sign any document they want. Aisha is within her rights to ask someone to self isolate, and watch out for her husband. If Nigeria wasn't so corrupt the right thing is to impeach Buhari on grounds of ill health and incapability. Especially in a time like this. We have a long way to go.

      Delete
    9. @NiB, if that is true then why have they not done the right thing and put the vice president in? You can't so power hungry that even when your brain is not working you have to hold on to office, for what? That man has not looked healthy from he was campaigning. I was shocked that they voted for a sick man to lead them. Bad enough that he was old as the ages, but he looked sick from then and they still put him in. Now the country is supposedly being steered by phantom hands😂😂😂 Africa and nation leaders are a bloody soap opera🙃🤡

      Delete
    10. @18:52, as in eh. After Yaradua's own I actually believe this story. As long as the cabal gains when he is in power. They will do anything to keep him in power. Anything. It's obvious they don't want Osinbajo to even know what's going on, he has limited power. Plus luckily for them Osinbajo is not power hungry or even fighting for due process.

  3. Power tussle. But this people should be responsible nau, what's bad in observing self isolation as they suggested? If he's asymptomatic & he unknowingly goes on to infect others in the villa.. 🤔 that'll be disasterous.

      Delete
    3. The former first lady (Patience Jonathan) is in good terms with her husband and they corporated very well as partners and then Jonathan was in charge as the president of Nigeria. So who will come to Presidential Villa to disrespect his wife, you can't even think about that not to talk of doing it. The former first lady was respected both home and abroad despite her mistakes in English. I want to believe that Buhari does not dictate what happens in the Villa and he is not in charge. His uncle, nephew and extended family are the ones ruling the nation.

They said there's interstate lockdown yet it's poor man that is affected. Food stuff from the east cant get to Lagos because of interstate lockdown thereby making these items expensive in Lagos. Yet Buhari's nephew is travelling from Lagos to Abuja.

Truth be told, you are not as tired as I am sis but me I decided two years ago that I will stop getting myself worked up over Nigeria politicians because all they do is break our hearts, disgrace us and abuse our various human rights, my sister I AM TIRED.
The most depressing part of everything is that the young youths that should know better has all sworn to not have sense, they will trade their lives and that of their loved ones during elections just for parties that gives zero f***s about them, will vote in an old clueless illiterate animal just because of tribe, religion and party, in the end, na so all of us go just de suffer put..... 7. In my opinion, the First Lady needs wisdom to handle her in-laws. Someone's wife puts to bed in Lagos, he goes to see her. Upon his return you want to force him to self isolate to the extent of using guns. Except if the story isn't true. She no try. There is a way you can chip in your advice as you celebrate with him and then advice your family to stay away. If she is so worried about her husband, she might as well express her fears to her husband to protect himself. Why must she always fight. Isn't she tired! Doesn't she know her ways is enough to give our president high bp. I am begging to think our president needs a Chioma that will bring stability to his home front. Ahn....ahn.... this distraction is just too much. We need to pray for the first family.

  9. I can't stop laughing. This is ludicrous. So as not to endanger the first family, most of the members of the first family went to the perceived threat. Nawa o. Aisha did herself in with the social media bill. It exposed her for what she really is and Nigerians won't be easily manipulated. Anywhere belle face first lady. Shior.

  10. Agberowoman and kids. Must you go with the whole of your household. Couldn't you have stayed in your space and call the NCDC on him. "One week one fight First Lady"

  12. This has nothing to do with covid. Her children and people in her camp travel to other states and come back frequently. She doesn’t tell them to self isolate. She is ambitious and wants control. She was trying to use this as an opportunity to exert control. Aso rock is not her husband’s personal house. She should calm down!!!

Wisdom is very profitable in marriage oo. Exerting force is not the answer to your family problems palava.

You want to dominate and control by fire by force.. ehhhh.. do that gently now!! Wetin sef?

We all know you are trying to gain 'public' support and sympathy by emphasizing on ' so that the first family will not be endangered by convid 19'

Ncdc should pick up her 3 kids and aides and lock them up in isolation centre. Aisha is a lying disgrace. Worst first lady in Nigeria history, worse than abacha's wife.
