I envy these social workers and nurses...collecting hefty salaries.

    1. Except abroad. Majority of the nurses in Nigeria work in private hospitals and they collect peanuts. Social workers are very underrated in Nigeria. They can only work in federal and state hospitals and they take very few of them.

    3. Sandra, How old in the bar are you? You whine a lot about not making money as a lawyer. Calm down, look around you, opportunities to make cool money as a lawyer abound.

If you’re a young lawyer, be patient and work smart. The lawyers you see doing fine do not depend on just their basic salary. In the meantime complain less, and be more optimistic. Your big money break is coming soon.

    2. Anonymous, you need to travel abroad. Make sure to learn about the history of the country you're moving to, know about their islands, sightseeing centres, foods, fruits and vegetables, culture/traditions, music, fashion and style.

If you can, it will be a bonus to learn one international language like, french, Russian or Spanish.

If you’re good in Maths and interested in Data Science, a grad degree in Statistics doesn’t hurt at all.

    1. Gbam! We are in the same boat. A course that you're assured of a good job with good pay after school. It's also very easy for them to migrate. To think I wanted to study this course but my people rejected it out of ignorance. I really regret not going for it. I finally studied another para medical profession but I just wish I studied radiography. Even when we went for job interview in a Teaching hospital, only about 11 radiographers came and they were all absorbed. No competition at all. I just love radiography

    2. Hey Anons, go for it, I am a radiographer myself, I do MRI scans and been in the UK for almost 20yrs now. With Brexit happening we need more health care professionals like never before. You dont make over the top money, but you can live comfortably with what you earn and you will never be out of a job!
