DeleteIrony of life, I studied international relations in a foreign university and I really regret it and wish I studied something else cos I can't even find a job with the course

ReplyDeleteNursing 💕
DeleteMe too.
DeleteNursing or social works.
ReplyDeleteI envy these social workers and nurses...collecting hefty salaries.
Me too.
DeleteExcept abroad. Majority of the nurses in Nigeria work in private hospitals and they collect peanuts. Social workers are very underrated in Nigeria. They can only work in federal and state hospitals and they take very few of them.
DeleteSame here or i study foreign languages
DeleteIn the Uk they are making money although not as much as before. I would do mental health nurses
DeleteThey work hard and put in a lottt of hours before they can make hefty cash. If you don't work long shifts and overtime the salary is normal.
DeleteEntrepreneurship and Management, venture creation and wealth. 😎
ReplyDeleteICT and everything that has to do with programming...
DeleteComputer science

ReplyDeleteMedicine has more opportunities, more pay etc.
Abeg jare, who lawyer help?
And I in that field wants to be a lawyer. This life no balance 😆😆
DeleteGive me the law and take my project management
DeleteSandra, How old in the bar are you? You whine a lot about not making money as a lawyer. Calm down, look around you, opportunities to make cool money as a lawyer abound.
DeleteIf you’re a young lawyer, be patient and work smart. The lawyers you see doing fine do not depend on just their basic salary. In the meantime complain less, and be more optimistic. Your big money break is coming soon.
Thank you 19:45😃, forgive my whining.
DeleteI'm 3 years post call.
@marti, when will life ever balance😂😀
DeleteI will study French...
@Sandra for real ahhh there's money in practice
DeleteOh I see @ three years well be patient something would work for you .
You're in the right profession but it requires patience and hardwork.
All the best 👍
Thanks Choc.

DeleteIf I have my way I'll study Law..I hope to achieve this dream of becoming a lawyer cause I sure have many cases to study.
My vision of helping children get justice. So help me God
Anonymous, you need to travel abroad. Make sure to learn about the history of the country you're moving to, know about their islands, sightseeing centres, foods, fruits and vegetables, culture/traditions, music, fashion and style.
DeleteIf you can, it will be a bonus to learn one international language like, french, Russian or Spanish.
It is a very good course.

ReplyDeleteMaths is not all about dx and dy o... There's more dear.
Delete@Neu... the anon says it's simple... so it is! Must you people always doubt people's capabilities? I know a guy that can never solve mathematics with calculators.
DeleteI also know a few people that are exceptionally good in mathematics, chemistry and such subjects.
DeleteIf you’re good in Maths and interested in Data Science, a grad degree in Statistics doesn’t hurt at all.

DeleteEnglish..studying law was my mom's choice.
ReplyDeleteseriously?
DeleteRadiography
ReplyDeleteGbam! We are in the same boat. A course that you're assured of a good job with good pay after school. It's also very easy for them to migrate. To think I wanted to study this course but my people rejected it out of ignorance. I really regret not going for it. I finally studied another para medical profession but I just wish I studied radiography. Even when we went for job interview in a Teaching hospital, only about 11 radiographers came and they were all absorbed. No competition at all. I just love radiography
DeleteHey Anons, go for it, I am a radiographer myself, I do MRI scans and been in the UK for almost 20yrs now. With Brexit happening we need more health care professionals like never before. You dont make over the top money, but you can live comfortably with what you earn and you will never be out of a job!

Stella, who school help? I would have gone into real estate business much much earlier. Cashing out now for most people especially in Naija has nothing to do with what they studied in school. As I leave abroad though, I will advise people to read medicine or Computer science/I.T if you want a higher chance of work availability abroad.
