ReplyDeleteNa waoo...This evil Virus keep increasing...ha'ba Father have Your Way..
ReplyDelete“Churches and mosques and Owanbes are a perfect set-up to facilitate transmission of the corona virus. As long as the pandemic continues to rage, it is the height of social irresponsibility for any church/mosque/celebrant to insist upon a physical gathering .
ReplyDeletePublic health must supersede all other concerns here. Social distancing is inconsistent with indoor church/mosque services and Owanbes. No one is prevented from holding or expressing their religious beliefs by keeping churches closed. It is easy enough to say one's prayers at home. Online services are readily available for those who wish to worship with others.
Houses of worship are not essential services. They do not deserve to be in the same category as hospitals, pharmacies, or grocery stores. No one is going to die as a result of their church staying closed until it is again safe to re-open. On the other hand, thousands will die, & hundreds of thousands will become ill, if churches persist in their misguided push to reopen. There is no excuse for these to take place at this point in the pandemic. It is bad public policy. Trump & other conservatives are putting politics ahead of science, public safety, & public health when they advocate church openings”
