Ondo State 1st Lady Reportedly Test Positive For COVID 19

The first lady of Ondo State, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu has tested positive for COVID-19.

The COVID-19 status of the governor’s wife was disclosed by a top government official who craved anonymity.
Her status comes three days after her husband, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu begun self-isolation after testing positive.

It was gathered that the First Lady had embarked on self-isolation before her samples were taken.

The source added “we are still awaiting the results of some media aides of the governors and some commissioners who interact with the state governor regularly”

He also disclosed that the samples of members of the House of Assembly and the traditional rulers who were seen mingling recently with Akeredolu will be collected for testing.

    5. She is not a young woman so leave makeup talk. I pray for her speedy recovery. This COVID-19 is a terrible thing. People with ailments that would have lived for some years are now dropping like chickens. God forbid evil.

  17. This lady looks like she has passed through some hard times. I wish her well. I pray for healing for her.

We just had a little scare oh. We have been very very careful and not let anyone into our home, Any rare visitor is attended outside the door through the glass storm door, with our masks on, no admittance, no shaking. I had already shopped for 6 months bunkering tay tay as led by the spirit.
Until about 2 weeks ago, my nephew just stopped by unexpectedly, because I was cooking, I ran down to open the door and let him in, he had a mask on, we didn't, so food no go burn, I ran back upstairs oh.
Can you imagine, about 10 days after he visited us, ogbeni called me, and said, Aunty, I have been sick since 2 days after I saw you people and I tested positive for Covid-19, my wife and MIL too (both of then work in healthcare here). Ogbeni did not have the courtesy to notify me early knowing that my child and myself are very high risk for complications due to our underlying health conditions, I was so furious and disappointed.

kpa kpa kpa, we had to run and do Covid-19 tests. Thank God we are negative. We continue social distancing oh.

Chei, people, socially distance oh, wear your masks and gloves, protect yourself and others. We wore masks and gloves the few times he came previously that we attended to him at the door, except this one time, and that is when we were exposed. Thank God we did not catch it, but it was nerve-racking the days waiting for the test.

They also have been talking about the mental health effect this pandemic has been having on people, most especially on children. I honestly did not take that seriously until it hit us so hard. So, so, unexpected. Please people, pay extra special attention to your children, how they are coping with this situation, even if they tell you they are okay when you ask them, like mine did, please, put your eyes down, your antennas up, I almost lost my child which was unfathomable but real, But for the Mercy and Grace of God.
May God continue to protect us all, Amen.
