    3. I have this fear too and anytime I'm close to getting to that married point with someone, any small mistake you make, will trigger me to leave!!

      I hope it's not ogbanje😭😭😭😭😭

    4. @Cookie, it's not any ogbanje nne. Who wouldn't be worried or scared with the current happenings everywhere?? We should all just be smart and careful, and at times use our own parents as a yardstick because, If your parents marriage didn't fail, yours too will not fail.
One aunty i know was resently kicked out of her house by her husband of 11 years, These are people that started dating since they were small, (They started as childhood friend) The aunt's people did everything to stop her from marring him cos he wasn't rich plus she herself had richer suitors coming for her but she refused and chose him, After some years, The man started doing well only for him to move out of their home with another woman. Abeg tori plenty but ehh, THAT ONE SHOCK ME I SWEAR. Life ain't balanced and tomorrow ain't promised eziokwu. Just shaa have your wisdom, voice and money as a woman for this is the greatest weapon and shield ever, uwa di egwu my people.

    5. Our parents are not a yardstick for judging a failed or successful marriage. Individuals are different. Children from broken homes can decide not to repeat the mistakes of their parents, children from well put together families also end up with broken marriages. There’s no hard and fast rule to how this thing works. It’s just God and guidance.

    6. My dear, my own parents are my yardstick in terms of marriage,No point breaking everything in details but they sure are my yardstick. I look at them every day and am assured that my own marriage will not fail, so help me God.

Ehhen, Yes Nollywood's most beautiful, most popular, Most successful and most loved and cherished is a grandmother alreadyπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ‘Œ. She's quite right though, let her take her precious time ojare, no need to get married to someone that will ruin the legacy she's managed to build for quite a long time now. If she sees the man of her dreams, she should happily marry him and stay with him forever. If she doesn't, she should happily stay single and bound with her grandchildren.

  8. Same here stella, I thought that was her sister. but so many differrent information about the girl. She is said to be married to her hearthrob of 9 years two years ago and she was said to be 22 on the day of her wedding. Does it mean gene's daughter started dating her man at the age of 13?
She was also said to have rounded up her nysc 2013 which means she was 17 then? I think gene daughter is older than the age they are giving her. But she sure looks like her mom.

About her being afraid, I think everyone feels that way about certain areas of lif times not just marriage but taking it to God surely helps.

    1. I remember a blog visitor talked about the daughter actually being her sister. I went back to the news of the wedding stella did 2016 and chikito said the lady was 27+ on the day of her wedding and her best friend so how the lady be her daughter.

    3. Ebuka went to FGGC Akure and graduated in 2005. How can she be her daughter?

    4. @Anon, what is throwing off your calculations is Genevieve's age. She is closer to 50, and definitely not in her early 40s, as reported. Her daughter was born in 1990, so she is/will be turning 30 this year. I'm not quite sure what age she had her, but if we go by this article, then then 30+17=47.

    1. Fear is Imaginary, it doesn't exist. It is mostly just the figments of our imaginations. How people allow fear of the unknown beat them blue-black is very difficult for people like me to understand. Think of the things you have been afraid of and allowed to limit you, how of them eventually happened. It was Harley Chase who said fear is the key to the wallets of the rich. Fear can be very destructive, frustrating and dehumanising if you allow it. I honestly believe she is just using fear as an excuse. She probably doesn't want to be married for personal reasons or she hasn't met the right man

  12. I think she just hasnt met the right one. When u meet d right one,u wont even feel like letting go. Yes there will be fights and issues from time to time, but u will feel dat peace with him dat u cant even imagine ur life without him.
When she meets dat man her fears will ease.

  14. Shey it was reported on SDK Blogu some years ago that there was a wedding or about to be wedding in Italy? Where she refused the groom's parents to attend? And bride price had been paid long before that white wedding that held or did not hold oo.
I know she is with the basket ball biz man in California, (that very tall Igbo-Yankee Mr.) the one who did or owns the African Basketball tournament.

  15. She has dated all the big men in Nigeria, she doesn't want to marry a married man and these big men can't allow their children to marry her either cos they or their friends must have dated her in the past. She was once engaged to a Nigeria basketballer in the abroad but her insistence on not wanting to get married in Nigeria and a very low key wedding probably with the family as guests of which I think her reason boil down to her lifestyle, the guy didn't show up at the destination of the wedding which was presumably Italy. Herself and Rita should go marry a white. Few years ago, she was showing off an engagement ring but stopped wearing it after sometime. Stella if you like don't post my comment

  16. Is Chimebuka the one that attended Unizik? I heard they where sisters when we were in school. There was a rumour she was married one time that I read here. Coded Genny, how many yrs in the industry yet people are still guessing when it comes to matters concerning you. You too much joor

  17. Gene, when you're ready and willing to give it a trial, it will definitely come... Stellakoko, alot of people said its her daughter but i like the way she made people to continue guessing...

  18. Is this not a very old interview cos I'm sure I've read this before and not this year. The lady is her sister, not daughter. Genny said it then on her IG page, I doubt she'd lie about that, she'd rather keep quiet. But of course people prefer to believe it's her daughter.

Don't ruin it by marrying someone that won't give you peace just because of what people will say. Ignore tongues as you have always done. Na only talk dem fit talk.

  24. May be she has never been in love or truly loved , as in finding true love. Ds is bcoz , if u have been in love b4, it’s like jazz, u forgive easily & several times over. U get to over look so many shortcomings of that person , that u ordinarily will not think twice to back out. Every body has a choice in life & ds is hers.
