Former Gov Fayose Tells Obasanjo's His End Will Come After Reading His Comment On The Death Of Senator Kashamu

Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has condemned ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s statement on the death of ex-Senator Buruji Kashamu.

The former Senator who died of COVID-19 complications on Saturday had before his death faced extradition to the United States for alleged drug trafficking.

In an official letter of condolence by former President Olusegun Obasanjo to the family of the deceased, Obasanjo condoled with the family and the state as a whole but also alleged that Kashamu used the instruments of law and politics to evade justice.

The letter did not sit well for many including Ayo Fayose former governor of Ekiti state.

Here is Obasanjo's condolence letter to the deceased family:

  1. I wish Fayose can also read what he wrote and digest it himself, trying to get attention. Ole bu Ole,Olohun la dá onikaluku lẹjọ nigbeyin ohun gbogbo. God will surely judge us all

    2. Don't mind Fayose, he's trying to gain public attention and guilt tripping OBJ,beyan ba ṣe tẹ ẹní rẹ̀ lo ṣe má sun sí,kosi ayé lati ma kun atike fún oku, boba ṣe joko lo ṣe má ba ra ẹ, trying to decorate a dead legacy will do no good, we'll have different opportunities to write our legacy.

    3. Hmmm òdodo ọrọ, kí Fayose koju sì wá ju kò rán tí ará ẹ. Well Obasanjo has never stop shouting it that the late Buruji has a case to answer although I disagree with him writing it in the condolence letter making it look like se ko tán ẹ though it's the truth but truth is bitter but we have to say it.

  3. Ah God bless you Mr Fayose.

Has OBJ accounted for the N65billion dollars NEPA intervention funds?

Kasumu was a bad man but HE WAS NOT DEVIOUS.
There is a big difference between a thief and a Wizard.

    Goodnight Mr Kasunmu.
I pray his wife and kids swallow this letter in good faith.

  4. I think people are taking Obasanjo's letter too seriously. He is an intelligent man and he knows he is part of the equation when it comes to death.

Yes, I would not have written that as a condolence message. However, what OBJ wrote is true. If we learn to face the truth about our lives then we will live better and leave a good legacy.

    1. What he wrote is the truth but like you rightly said writing it a condolence letter is wrong and more so he is part of Nigeria problem, he also stole hugely from the country.

  5. By the way, ObJ may not be a saint. But he loves God and has and an encounter with God. I believe he wasn't judging the departed but only saying facts. But what do I know?/

  9. D man is loved by his people. Saw an uncontrollable mammoth crowd at his burial today. Fayose has been silent for a while, leaving d street of criticism to Dino, FFK, Sani, Okri & a few Political commentators. OBJ no send, he says it d way it is. No body is perfect but I think OBJ is better than almost all our past Presidents.

  10. OBJ remains the best president Nigeria ever had.
This man OBJ and Ojukwu are the two brutally honest
Nigerian leaders that I've known in my years in the
    country.
Fayose should tell us what he is fighting for?

  11. Fayosr is just angry cuz when hr was governor he called Obasanjo to come commission a state poultry, of which he got someone to get the chickens about 3 days before the commissioning and was living to Obasanjo that the poultry had been running for months.
Obj being a farmer saw that everywhere was too neat to have been a poultry that has been in operations for long and asked him 'Fayose, why is everywhere clean like this, your chicken no dey shit'
