    2. Hey you guys should stop mocking single ladies or men. You can be single today and married tomorrow. Even as a married woman I feel their pain, I have a sister who is a mature single lady and I feel bad for her and pray for her all the time. She's not in any of the categories above, in fact she does not have any body at all. If you find any body in any of those categories above, rather than mock them or laugh at them, if you can talk to them, do so. Desperation is like a mental/psychological problem, it can make one do stupid things that you regret when you are in a sane frame of mind. Everybody needs love, both men and women and our society is hard on women who are single an matured. Nobody chose to be single without a husband, societal pressures can drive them into doing some stupid things like those things above to get hooked. My sister wanted to get herself involved in a very toxic connection two years ago in the name of trying to get a man and we all raised alarm then she stopped.

    3. That one should be wicked-single cos after introduction in the east, they see you as married. So in a way you are stuck. In other examples, the girl can breakup and move on with her life. But that introduction and abroad eh, real bondage.

    4. @anon I agree with you that the society is unfair to singles, but please encourage your sis to hold her head up and laugh about it. It's not a death sentence, far from that. It's a fun season you can use for personal growth, spiritual growth, career and legit money chase. Let her never have a woe-is-me or pity-me countenance. Never. Live fully & intentionally. Let her also not settle for trash. We read chronicles here from both singles and married alike, and I dare say chronicles of the married seem more pitiful. The post above is banter but good advice, so we are just catching fun. Both singles & married are laughing cos we've all experienced it or know someone who has. Men were deceivers ever, but we still love 'em.

Sigh no more ladies, ladies sigh no more!

  25. I remember telling bobo that there is nothing like engaged. until we are married, we are single. this thing caused a fight between us that time. it was december last year, they had a get together at their office, so they asked them to invite their partner that's how all his co-workers came with their girlfriends and they started asking everyone for their name and relationship status. all the aunties that they brought were shouting engaged, engaged upandan. when it got to me I said I was single and raised my hands. lmao. and they went all ha....I was like, its like these ones are not ok. when a guy starts dating them and discusses marriage with them once they just accept that he wants to marry them true true. lmao, just last week bobo was now describing one of the girls to me that she and the guy already broke up. I just said OK and he gave me side eyes. lmao

  26. Funny but not funny.
Singlehood and TTC phase especially if you are well advanced in age can make you question God and even yourself down to outrightly querying your parents.

To anyone passing through this phase, believe me: THIS TOO SHALL PASS AND SOONEST TOO. 🙏🙏
