Nigerian Labour Congress Says Planned Strike Over Hikes In Electricity And Fuel Prices Must Hold....

The Nigeria Labour Congress has vowed to proceed with its planned strike and protest with effect from September 28,2020 following the failure of the Federal Government to reverse the hike in electricity tariff and fuel price.

Rising from its National Executive Council meeting in Abuja a few minutes ago, the NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, said the proposed action by the organised labour would proceed from next week.

He stated that the decision was unanimously taken by the chairmen of the 36 states and FCT chapters of the NLC.

  3. The most useless labour congress in the word. You collect billions of Naira as dues from workers every year and enrich yourselves. Even Saudi Arabia the biggest producer of crude has since removed subsidy from petroleum products and on the tenth of every month they announce the new cost of petroleum products depending on the prevailing cost of crude in the international market. They have also taken the stipends they use to pay their citizens.

  6. Worthless union of that collects dues from members of the but don't add any value of to the lives of of its own members the civil servants. They can only bark but can't bite, how I wish one can pull out of its membership. The only thing time to time make noise is when they are broke and want to collect the bribe from the government under guise of fighting for the great right of its members. Useless, and very useless and union, tueh!
