    1. This is the new Nigeria you guys wanted, youth without leader to tell them what to do. They are peaceful protesters and they have no leader this is what they want, no to police station so that they can loot any store in sight.

  3. Many people Lost their lives as a result of this violence.

This matter no sweet anybody for body except for those who perpetrated and carried out these shameful acts of which I'm sure that sooner than later their wicked acts will catch up with them.

    When there's life there's hope.

  4. In as much as I support peaceful protest but this picture right here is pure vandalism of the highest and it does nothing but takes away from the purposes. How dare they do this to some innocent people? The truth of the matter knowing Nigerians is that they will make all the noises they can and at the end of the day, the moon will still not fall. Their looting people’s properties doesn’t resolve the problem at hand and all it does is that it takes away from the purpose of the protest

    2. Amen! @anon 10:41. I'm so angry right now, these hoodlums are worse than the government. A protest that was meant to better their lives turned to looting and destruction of citizens properties!!! Shame on all the looters, double shame. Tueh

People that led the protest can eat 3 square meals conveniently and can even travel out of the country if the want! But here we are with these idiots causing pains for innocent citizens. God will punish all of them! Gosh!!

    1. Who's this one again? Hiss.

Set up a business and lose a penny then you'll know how it feels.

I removed every gaddamn item in all my outlets, plus electrical wirings, I knew it will end in looting.

Many didn't think that way. They felt their plazas were protected because they pay for security. Oriegwu.

Even my cabinets at work are empty. I no fit shout.

Sorry Lilian, the Lord will comfort you and make a way.

  13. It's quite shameful ,a lot of hardworking people have lost their lives and sources of living due to the fact that some evil minded people used fake news to hijack the once peaceful protest ,the government should get to the root of this

  14. So the mall did not have sufficiently security? I am not understanding. Aren't malls supposed to be guarded by trained security personnel who will not let this happen? I can understand when it happens in an open market but if I am paying so much at a mall, it had better be secured.

    1. I hear
Who wants to be accosted by a mob of irate thugs?
If you were guarding that place would you have been there now?

  15. Lilian sorry about what happened. That's the issue with protests; It's usually hijacked by thugs who engage in looting.

  16. The one a I don't understand is why they have to destroy so much after looting, now the owners will not only have to contend with replacing lost inventory, but cost of what they destroyed.
