ReplyDeleteThe only relationship I've been in, he didn't spend up to 1k in total when we ate out once (we were broke students). I think I spent more sef. At the end, he made me look like a fool.
On the first dates I've been to, I never let them spend up to 5k on me. Very conscious about that as I've always had the "have a vex money" mentality. That and my mom's words growing up warning me about guys expecting something from you because they spent on you is still in my head.

ReplyDeleteWhen I go out with potential dates I never pay, even though I keep my vex money just in case. I usually pay for myself when I go out on dates with my girlfriends and the highest I paid is around 30 euros.
