CHRONICLES OF MELODY THE RUNS-GEH.....

I was in the village with my family for a month plus, I told them my whole story, I hid nothing from them, I could see the disappointment in their eyes but the fact that I am back home and ready to change kinda made them feel a bit relaxed around me:::

Everyday was a torture for me, the urge to smoke, my gums were shaking, my teeth too, I needed it so badly, I tried but couldn't get it cos everyone had their eyes on me, but the very unbelievable one was the severe itching in-between my legs, it wasn't urge, it was warts, the heaviness of the discharge from my private is best imagined, the smell can kill a sinner.....

I would bath like 3 times a day and still smell, I told my Mom, we were preparing for the hospital the next when I collapsed in the bathroom, it wasn't funny, I was rushed to the hospital, they said my case was a rare one, the infection in my body is best imagined, E.coli, staphylococcus, Warts, including condom oil, e plenty...

After some weeks in the hospital, I had grown tiny, I thought I would die, so I called my parents and told them to bring me a pastor as I would love to give my life to Christ Jesus before the end will meet me on that hospital bed, my Mom cried deeply and was escorted out of the room by the nurses and my Dad, I heard her screaming, Oh God I serve you and I can't lose two of my kids like this, tears were rolling down my cheeks but I couldn't talk, I was so weak, I passed out the second time and then I had a dream....

Na wah oh....This Ashawo work nearly killed you....Please which disease is called condom oil???

TIPS ON HOW TO GET CLOSER TO GOD NEEDED

I finally broke up with my married boyfriend. I feel free and liberated. It's was hard letting go of him. I couldn't eat, always crying. By the way we knew each other since I was a teenager but we never had sex. We were planning for me to get pregnant for him until the Holy Spirit convicted my soul and I knew that what I was about to do was wrong.

It was hard letting go of him but now I'm no longer hurt. I feel free and I prayed for forgiveness and I know God has forgiven me. The right man for me will come and I won't have to steal him from any woman. He will only be mine and treat me with love and respect. I have given my life to Christ and I want to change my ways.

I'm ashamed of my past and what I was about to do but I know that in Christ I'm a new person. Please blog visitors don't judge me for my past rather I beg you to tell me what I should do to get closer to God. I always plan to read the bible but then I don't follow through. I even bought the battlefield of the mind by joyce Meyers but couldn't finish it because I didn't like her writing style but I'm planning to finish it because I believe it will help me.

How do I find the zeal to read the Word of God everyday?

What books of the bible should I read first?

What devotional or Christian book do you reccomend?

I want to be a godly woman and live a godly life with a close relationship with God. I want to be born again. How can I go about it? Due to some personal reasons for now I can't attend church but when the right time comes I was thinking of joining Christ Embassy. Is it a good church?

Stella please post so I can get some advice. For all of those who will insult me know that we have all sin and fallen off the grace of God. My sin may be different that yours but you may have sinned or still sin in secret. For those who will give me sound advice I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart and may God richly bless you. Thank you🙏

TEEJAY CORNER
Successful through Skills And Businesses

There's this man who usually comes to my vicinity and picks up people's waste for a token. My attention was drawn to how neatly he dresses. He pushes the truck daily, going from street to street. One morning, a neighbor who knows him very well said the man is a graduate with good grade. She went further to say, he's married to a beautiful woman and with lovely children.

For some minutes, I spoke through my mind. A graduate, married to a beautiful woman, then a waste collector. So many thoughts came to me but one thing was very clear, he couldn't have planned it that way. Who goes to the university to become a truck pusher let alone a waste collector? Life, sometimes is truly unfair to the extent that most dreams we hold onto never see the light of day.

One thing I've come to understand in life and most especially in this part of the world, Nigeria to be precise is that, educational degrees are nothing or rather should I say papers if you aren't skillful in a given sphere of life to back it up.

In 2016, I was working and earning a paltry sum of money for a salary. A friend of mine who tried convincing me in 2012 to join him and learn a skill but I ignored got a contract job at Bayelsa State. After its execution, he paid workers he hired and had over a million plus as his own gain. I was shocked hearing that. It was a contract he had gotten and he delivered. Now I asked myself, how many months salaries equates to that one job he executed? Maybe I would work for three years or more.

Today, my friend has landed properties and is doing very well. The waste collector I shared above, dumped his certificate to make ends meet when jobs weren't forth coming. I heard he makes four to five thousand daily.

Are you still depending on your degree to get you that mouth watering job? Truth be told, at the moment, the unemployment rate in Nigeria has gotten to its peak. Why not pick up a skill today, learn or better still, set up a profitable business that isn't seasonal and see how good you will do.

Going into skills, I would advise you look for lucrative ones such as sewing and fashion, beauty and hair saloon, catering and baking, installations of cameras, hardware and software maintenance, painting, POP, Wall mural, 3D Epoxy, scaffolding, modernized automobile repairs, wielding, flooring and increte, construction of swimming pool and fountain. Almaco doors and windows and a host of so many others to mention.

For business intended, foodstuffs does it better and never invest on product that's seasonal, it leaves you frustrated when the season is over. Eatery joint/restaurant is another good business to venture into. Another good one though capital intensive is setting up a betting business with the likes of bet9ja and co. It pays well, if you are in the right location. Nigerians play a lot of betting games, from my research.

All the best..... Keep soaring high.

*You hit the nail on the head ooooooooooooooooooh...It is not about certificates anymore,Nigeria has no jobs to offer all of the graduates the Universities are churning out, please learn a skill when you come out and help yourself oh.

  5. Poster that wants to get closer to God. I suggest this book titled, "A serious call to a devout and holy life" by William levy. It will help you in your journey towards achieving a life of holiness that pleases God.

    1. I meant WILLIAM LAW not WILLIAM LEVY😂

      Continaution
After you have gotten the book by William law. Then I will advise you always psalms 1, 15, 19, 42 when you pray. Meditate on it words for words and create scenarios that applies to each verses in your mind. Don't just read ask for wisdom from God for better understanding.

No one will judge you because you are doing the right thing.... You are thriving and that's one of the quality of a good christain. A good
Christian is not a perfect christain but someone who thrives. Remember 24:16 says, "a righteous man may fall seventy seven times but he always gets up again". Falling is not the issue being complacent in your sin and seeing it as the norm is the problem. You fell and you stood up rather than get comfortable in your sin and sleep, rejoice in it...you thrived and came out of it. Bravo🤗

Being abstinent is not a perequisite to righteousness but wholly giving yourself to Christ in all entirety. Just read the book sure will love it.

If you want to read the Bible, you can set time aside. Funny enough when it pick it up you want to drop it. For better understanding say
from genesis at least 2 chapters a day, more or less based on how you can then build on as you go. You can also start from the new testament. But please in all do not read the Bible just for fun. Read to assimilate and understand and apply the passages to your prayer life.
      God bless.

  16. Dear poster, I want you to know that it's because of you and me that Christ died, he doesn't die for the righteous, but for sinners, and as you rightly said we have all sinned.

You have done the most important thing any sinner can do, repent and reject your sin. A lot of people has not gotten to this level, so I say congratulations.

God has totally forgiven you and only wants to you to come closer to Him and know His love better. He loves you so much.

My sister, to read the Bible and do what God's word says can only be through the help of the Holy Spirit, our helper.

So ask the Holy Spirit to come into your life, and help you do these godly things you desire. He will absolutely do so.

I also recommend Powersurge devotional by Pastor Emmanuel Okonkwo to you. It's on facebook and YouTube.
These daily devotional will help you.

I do love you, but Christ loves you more and He will give you your own man. 😍🤗🤗🤗

    2. Your analogy is quite wrong. Because one voted for Buhari or believed in his campaign promises which he failed to deliver doesn't make one partly responsible for the blood of the dead ones.

If you believe otherwise because you didn't vote, you are also guilty in as much as you didn't cast a vote on that day and sat back at home.

      Peace

    3. Well I voted Peace and I didn't vote for that murderer.

As for u Love lace, I said what I said and I am done with you.

    4. @ Peace thank you.I made a comment about it this morning on spontaneous post. Stella said she didn't see the comment may be due to network issues. I shut down yesterday after Buhari's speech. I couldn't handle the whole situation.

Only for me to wake up this morning and saw a comment on SP and quickly went to check out the post. Imagine some of them rejoicing over who supported who in this trying times, where most sane people are saddened by the turn of events. I did not support APC as a party, I only drew attention to the ideologies they presented. It was refreshing as at that time because of the situation we found ourselves. Prominent elites with pedigree led those ideologies and they sold Buhari to Nigerians citing his antecedents against corruption.

Before the end of 2015 dispensation most Nigerians knew we have been deceived and sold a lie. The only thing possible then was to wait and vote him out, which is the right thing to do. Alas 2019, he was rigged back into our lives courtesy small minded irritants who wanted the status quo to remain.

I pray that Nigerians are liberated from this present crop of leaders, that is my earnest prayer.

    3. Hi anon, its best you use a controlled amount of water to remove sogginess. Its best to steam-cook the rice (same technology used for party jollof rice). Parboiling is not necessary, but if you must, dont parboil for more than 5 minutes. When cooking the rice, ensure that the water is on the same level as the rice or slightly higher( if you did not parboil). Seal the pot properly with foil paper and the pot's lid and cook on low heat, do not add water even when it is dry, let steam finish off the cooking process.

    4. Sapio... you're right but for good cooking, she should just wash rice with boiling hot water then set in cold water before mixing all the ingredients together. Meat stock should come first.

@ the pereon that wants to get close to God. Yes I will recommend Christ Embassy. All you need to do to get born again is to confess with your mouth and mean it with your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord Romans 10: 9-10. Please say this prayer:

“O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”

Get the book "Now that you are born again" Rhapsody of Realities will also help you.

There is no better time to get closer to God than now. It is well with you.

  28. Poster first of all no need talking about people that sin differently or in secret dearie...that is not your problem. What matters now is that you fell short (which we all do but there's absolutely no need pointing it out back like it was done to you) you have reconciled with God and eager to do life with Him. You and God...thats all that matters right here and now.

You could start from the New Testament (Amplified is a good Bible, helps break things down and gives more understanding)

Podcasts are great! Would help a lot. So you can listen to Joyce Meyer there.
You could pray then do a Word study early in the morning...ask the Holy spirit to teach you Himself and open your eyes to behold the wondrous things in His law (using a devotional is great and then studying a few chapters of the Bible). Also if you can do a (Christian) podcast at the end of the day would be really cool. Check for Joshua Selman, Joyce Meyer, T.D Jakes, Steven Furtick, Dharius Daniels (my new fave) and Jentezen Franklin.

Wish you success on your walk dearie...may God see you through 🥰🤗🤗

  29. Dear Sis,
I am excited that you've walked out of that relationship. In my walk with God, the book of John in the Bible was super helpful. Let's work like this

    1. Speak to God as a Father and a Friend, as in, tell Him everything, any time. Just express yourself , even if you want to cry, cry. You will always feel better afterwards.

    2. Ask the HOLYSPIRIT to minister to you, then study the book of John

    3. Books such as - A Woman After God's Heart and The Power of a Praying Woman are helpful

    4. Download gospel music on your phone and play them on repeat, they are impactful on the soul.

Send me a message any time, I'll be glad to help.

Attempts to overrun plain-clothed security operatives and army officers has failed in 6 hotspots especially Isaac Jones Street and Adekunle Fajuyi Streets, they are bent on vandalizing and looting the major major exotic and electronics stores. No entry.
Currently at GSM village and Computer village. The soldiers are not backing down.

The bullets are raining on the roofs as they are directed to only shoot into the air.

    My tired is tired.

  37. Wish I had learnt skill while in school and started then... But never too late, my mum believed so much in education becos in their time ,the educated onces got good jobs.. studied accounting and a chartered accountant, but now practicing as professional dressmaker... My advice learn a skill you have passion for, becos every skills has its high and low, so that when all other fails, your passion will keep you moving...

  41. Thank you Teejay for your write up, I believe learning skill acquisition to education is good but one must be careful not to fall into wrong hands, I paid one yeye tailor to learn from her but this woman refused to teach me anything, she would cut cloth from home and send me useless errands I later left her shop cos I lost interest but for sometime now I have been hearing skill acquisition here and there I will try to learn again

    1. @ sweet Jollof you are very right. I paid someone to learn catering while in school but this woman collected my money and didn't teach me anything. She practically turned me to an errand girl in her restaurant and this made me loose interest in the skill infact i lost the enthusiasm totally. I made up my mind to still learn a skill notwithstanding which eventually is paying off now. My advice is that" don't loose focus, just keep pressing and also ask of a good tailor that is trustworthy and always busy with work that will make you learn faster. Cheers...

    2. My advice for learning tailoring,go to a good fashion school, it might be a bit expensive, but you get value for your money in the long run, a course outline is followed in teaching you, thereby touching many areas..

  43. My dear sister that wants to draw close to God. Start by getting an exercise book with a biro.
Start studying and medictating on the word every night. Before you start ask the holy Spirit to speak to you on a personal note. Then look for Zac Ponen on YouTube, listen to his teachings.
Ask around about Jesus Discipleship Fellowship join them if you can. You won't regret it. Their teachings is personalized and you are taught how to pray study evangelise and your deliverance is done by Jesus Christ. It's a wonderful place. No time for frivolities. Honestly I have grown. I can tell the mind of God more now.
You can also look up grace and mercy on YouTube. These are people that teach you how to know God for yourself. How to be ready for the kingdom of God.

When you are ready to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit please buy a book called Holy Spirit my senior partner by David Yonggi Cho and your spiritual life will never be the same again. I received the Holy Spirit right after I finished the book.

Start with a book called the purpose driven life by Rick Warren.

    Thank me later
