TEEJAYS CORNER
THE WOES OF INDEBTEDNESS.

A young man had gone to a business outlet to buy a phone, getting there he met the guys at the Easy buy section. They had some discussion and arrangements on the initial payment and the installments payment of three months was mapped out. His ATM details were required. On entering his details and BVN, came a word displayed in red 'FRAUD'. Consequently, his purchase was declined.

What really happened?

From the details gotten, it wasn't just fraud alone written but a brief notice on his debt to repay an online loan he took, which had elapsed and he is yet to pay back, making money unavailable in his account as not to be withdrawn by the loan company. On account of this, his accounts linked to that BVN had been blacklisted as a fraudster. Until he pays that money, whatever he does with his account or BVN, will always give him out as a fraud.

One question I always ask is, why do people find it difficult to repay their loans? There is this saying that a loan comes with a spell that makes a debtor unable to meet up the repayment plan, thereby making them lose properties used as collateral. How true is this?

Again, one thing I've seen people do in the face of loan indebtedness, is borrowing to service a loan. This is liken to a man who digs a hole to cover a hole, invariably leaving the latter open. So wrong and discouraging.

I want to ask, is it that people are too greedy to pay back or the loan comes with its own trouble on them? How does one effectively repay a loan without being under pressure? If a loan is usually difficult to pay back, why do people still opt for it?

You will never know how peaceful or stress free life could be until you are in debt. Its embarrassment is better imagined than described.

*Hahahahahahahahahahahah I remember back then In UNIBEN when i was owing igbese,on the last day of school as i prepared to go home to Lagos,I smelled the perfume of the lady i was owing and i hid behind the locked door...she knocked and knocked and knocked,i forze where i was...

She kept shouting ''Stella,i know you are there oh!''...When i did not respond, she left.....

Before then i could no longer sleep cos she always tried to catch me sleeping so i resorted to hanging out in reading rooms..lol

Abies now works in a bank and every time we remember this incident, the laughter is something else.....

The sun has never once not come up. God has never once not made good on His promises. It may not happen on our timetable, or the way we thought, but I can assure you the sun is going to come up in your life. Do it for like a week .There are other benefits attached to fruit fast as your body gets rid of toxins during the fast
But please check if you have stomach ulcer first before anything.

    1. Hi @Anon 14:16

Unofficially;you go to a cyber Cafe(they have the design for National ID and voters card) and create an ID with full-name on facebook;then print with your passport and later send to Facebook..

Officially;use the old ID and explain in your cover letter to Facebook when sending the "REAL ID"..
It's only time but they will unblock..

While at it;don't use another device to try logging in;it sends off a "SCAM" or "HACK" alert..

You were Blocked cos Facebook thought your account was hacked by scammers hence change of those dates you tampered with..

It's just a security check and if the account is yours;you would pass the text and be unblocked soonest..

      Hope this helps..

      @MARTINS

  29. Good afternoon my people, how una day dey go?

I wonder why people find it difficult to pay back loans. This reminds me of a message I received from one of the loan app early this year, to remind a former colleague that he has defaulted in his loan repayment and should do the needful else legal action will be taken. Inside my mind I kon dey wonder why dis person put my number as I no dey work in the same office with am again ( I was the company account officer). I notified him of the message and advised him to do the needful as I won't be happy with him if I receive such message again.

Why do people find it so hard to repay their loans?-Good question.........the thing is people are so quick to borrow money, forgetting that they'll have to pay back no matter what.I mean how can you borrow money money and then feel reluctant or entitled when it's time to pay back. Some people go as far as telling you jokingly to forget the money.I could still remember the day I borrowed 5k from a friend,Chai! i could not sleep with my full chest,I was always avoiding him, even when he told me to pay whenever I have it and he said i should stop avoiding him.....i regained my peace of mind the day i returned the money.....i realised that nothing beat peace of mind when I returned the money.

People owe me well well. Some I don even forget. I saw one this afternoon and he said he is saving up to pay me my money.

Why I like myself is that I can never collect loan or borrow money for any thing, God forbid. If I can't afford something I will jejely swallow my saliva and go.
I don't owe anyone and I like it like that... My sleep and peace of mind is precious to me.

Please try and pay up because those loan apps will draggggggg you on social media, message all your phone contacts your contacts will start calling you to ask what happened because the message will be an embarrassing one, that you are a fruadulent person especially those loan app that you registered with your pictures on it. Fair money, Soko loan ( they are worse) and the interest will.keep building on it day by day they will also block your account and register your BVN as scam.

  37. Good afternoon blogfam
    Friday IHN present ✌️

Hmmmm! that loan part my mum made us understand that we should always make do with what we have ( she no dey pass her boundary).

I remember one time someone came to meet my mum to apply for a loan to boost her business, my mum declined but the woman went ahead and took the loan used her husband's house as collateral. She got the loan and was 'flexing', time to repay loan she couldn't meet up - they took over the house she used as collateral.

To borrow money from friends sef dey fear me because I won't have peace of mind until I repay.

Martins thanks for coming to my rescue yesterday. God bless.

  42. Taking loan is hard for me
I prefer to starve than take loan. It's that bad.
I remember my dating days when girls will be asking their bobo for money but I could not until much later in Marriage.

I'm live in Ondo State for my Sweet Mother in-laws burial. The event has picked up already as today we danced Birikpo and served the musicians Pupuru and Egusi.
    Rip Mama.

  45. In house news is here, Teejay you are doing well, nice write up, Okay so I read this morning about the person that returned the money that was gifted to her on this blog, this is so wrong and it's not right, how proud can you be? Do you even think of tomorrow? I am one of the benefactors (abi beneficiary) of Stella's kindness, she's been good to me and my daughter, she is the reason why I have a roof over my head today, my business is her, and she has not stopped blessing me, she's been good to me, she may not be kind with words but that is who she is, it doesn't stop the sweet part of her, sometimes her words hurts like a bullet but there's always something to learn in it, she is a nice person, I wouldn't wish for a better sister than her, there's so much to learn from her, you don't dare hurt people like that, especially when you know that you might need them to step up in future, me I no de like write apology letter later ooo, I try to straighten my ways today, being rude will pay you nothing, let's all be nice and kind, this place has become a family but Stella is not owing any of us, she is just being kind, let's not take that for granted.... God bless us all....

  46. It is better not to borrow than refuse to pay back. There is one owning me for two years now, when ever you bring up the issue he starts pleading that things are difficult in his side as if my side is honey. I pray he pays back sha because I need the money.

Candy thank God for your healing. Have a lovely day everyone.

  47. Happy Friday , decided to go anonymous. @ bv Ronalda I hope you out get to see this and start commenting again.I complained to my best friend on how I don't get to learn on most blogs and she introduced me here, for years now.
She said I'll learn from the Chronicles
I'll laugh and get serious advice plus also meet men if interested, that's S and M. Her last relationship was from s and m.
In her words anytime people comment on Chronicles she scrolls down to Ronalda comment and that's all.
She died a month ago (depression). She loved SDK blog so much!
