On Thursday October 1st was Nigeria's 60th Independence Anniversary and Her Excellency the first lady of Imo state Chioma Uzodinma reached out to Motherless children and sick people.....
She visited visited three different wards at the Federal Medical Center Owerri, namely:
A. Newborn ward
B. Maternity Ward
C. Gynaecology Ward
She donated food, household items and cash gifts to the women, in each ward.
She also visited Mercy Homes Orphanage, Orji.and reached out to the orphans and motherless babies through donations in form of cash gifts, food and household items.
After that she visited Obinze Love Care Orphanage Homes, Obinze and gave them donations in food items and cash.
Awww, that's sweet of her.

Good of her to do this visit amd shower the new mums she met. I hope she led by example and washed or samitized her hands after touching each baby. It would have been nice to show a photo of her doing that or changing gloves.
