  1. Unless his company is a security services company then I don't understand his reasons for making him a security guard there.
He could start as front desk officer or intern since he is still an undergraduate.

    1. What is wrong in making him a temporary security guard??or is he going to be security man forever.

Nice one MR Obazee, catch them young!.

Let him be at the lowest level so as to learn how to manage those that will be at their lowest level when he is at the top!.

    3. Nigerians & class distinction & ds is d job that most people without professional certificates like Medicine, Law, Engineering, Accounting etc, hustle for abroad. Why is it that in Banks, u must be sent to all d departments , one after d other, just so u ain’t in one unit? Tomorrow, when u rise to d post of a manager, u will be able to know what & when something is not appropriate in any of d units ,as well as keeping staffers on check. D man is preparing his son to take over in future & u guys are crying more than d bereaved. What if d security outfit in question becomes big & sort after tomorrow, by State, federal or multinationals, then Mr Obaze will start looking for experienced hands to assist in running it, when he had d opportunity of training his child on d job? What some of u want is for d child to be head of finance . Is it bcoz it’s a security coy , instead of Oil & gas or Diamond or Zenith Bank? Well done Mr Obaze.

  2. I like it and I don't like it allow him learn on his own accord if he wants to,he will. Imposing it on him might work, might not work but all the same, goodluck to you Mr Obazee.

  3. whatever works for you sir. But for me, this isn’t the best way to teach humility. If it’s an idea you planted In his head and he didn’t decide to do it himself, then you hvnt really taught him anything.
If you have suffered in life and want someone to suffer the same way cause you “turned out fine” you infact did not turn out fine.

    1. Nothing wrong with what the man has done, if he has to inherit the company he should know what every one does...

  5. Not bad. CEOs do it with their children all the time. U learn from the bottom up. Makes u a better business manager and gives u more understanding of ur staff.

  8. I know he has valid reasons but SECURITY!!!? Is he a security guard himself or he felt he should start off from the gate then gradually he will teach him to be a cleaner before he starts working in the office? Odimma.

If he is the owner of his company and it's not a security firm, then that position is not necessary, unless his aim is to just keep him busy and earn a little income while at it.

If he really wants to teach his children his trade or business, he can do so in other ways.

    1. Lmfao @teach him to be a cleaner 🤣🤣🤣
This is all shades of wrong. There are better ways to instill discipline and core values in children

    2. He knows his son more that any BV here. No matter how high that boy gets in the company, he has first hand experience of the challenges and hazards of the job and should make a better manager because of that experience. Eg if he works a particular shift, he can recommend ways of making the job easier based on his experience and the recommendation will be taken seriously coming from him.

Am I the only one that has read and (mis) interpreted that the man owns a security Company??😂

  9. I think from the perspective of him associating with other security staff and low ranking members of staff he might see life through another angle. I'm not sure, just trying to reason with the Father

  10. Does he own a security company?
    If yes toh! Nice one
If not. Me i don't know why he didn't offer him another job position

On the other hand who best to protect ones business, than the owner ?.🤣

  14. I work for my dad and trust me, he treats me like other staff in the office, but outside the office, we can continue with our father- daughter relationship.

  15. I think this would teach him humility. He would learn to relate with everyone no matter their social status.

  16. Good one. Very practical way to learn about life, by starting from the grassroots.
    Humility 101.

  17. He did well by showing the child that, he is not better than those security guards.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Not a bad idea... The child gets to know he can't have everything on a silver platter.

  19. Good father! Flesh and blood did not teach you this, but divine authority. God sent his own son to come as a poor carpenter's son to save the lost sons of his.

  20. What a time waster. Let this guy learn tech stuffs or a course or skill to keep him abreast....with today's times. All this old skool mentality

  21. What is your business? His son, his company, his security, his guard❗

Some of you Bvs against this, helped and still help your parents in their petty trades, shops, restaurants, supermarkets etc.

    *Ndi Mkpesa na Nkocha!* 🙄🙄🙄
