    4. 15:55 It's wrong to call your President or anyone a fool even if he is not doing well.
You know you won't call your father a fool even behind his back.

At the same time, what is the way forward? I hope they won't divert them into another group and rebrand them with a new name and uniform. God help Nigeria and to everyone who has erred their views #endsars#

  5. I sincerely hope they will keep to this. Those SARS people seem to be invincible. Even with this disbandment, some squads are probably out there harassing youths in some states . I don’t know where and who they take the massive proceeds they extort from citizens to.
    God help us.

  6. As they redeploy them , they should tell them what exactly their duty is.
They should work smart and not with force.

  7. Bad news.
Nigerians will soon realize that they made the bad decision.
The protest should have been to reform, not to ban/end it.
I just read the "origin of FSARS" on this blog and realized
that when initially police was taken off the streets of Lagos,
bandits like "Shina Rambo" took over.
This is a very bad news, a very bad day.

    2. Signed by same Frank Mba that I read on this blog as saying that
SARS cannot be disbanded. Now, has anybody in SARS been born again?
Isn't it a case of "end one and start another?"
This has achieved nothing at all. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

    4. The thing is that even the regular police will stand idle and watch the robbers deal with the people. Same folks will start screaming bring back sars.

    5. Please don't just open your mouth wide and be saying they should be reformed, give pragmatic steps on how they can be reformed.
While you are at it, bear in mind that they drink and take hard drugs on duty, collect bribe and extort, kill, kidnap, rob and rape and so on.
Oya give a detailed breakdown on how they can be reformed.
We all are here to learn.

  12. Nigerian youths, even though this is a small victory, it clearly shows we have a voice and have power to change our destiny and create a bigger world for the next generation.
Time to demand from national, state and local authorities things are every day norm in other countries. Good road, electricity, jobs, salaries, infrastructure in our hospitals and schools, securities, youth empowerment programs and the list goes on and on. Even if you cannot go out and protest, social media is our power, use any platform (tweeter, Facebook, Instagram etc).

  14. This is not all. That Man that calls himself our president still needs to address we Nigerians.

    1. It was even on the high with them being the leaders. If the real SARS were doing what they were meant to do, we wouldn’t be in this situation. It seemed a leader at the top must have empowered them to go on this harassment and extortion spree and they went overboard. Robbery on the increase, yes but then they were not helping matters.

  17. Don't celebrate, they are not going to bring aliens to fight robbery and violent crimes when they constitute the next anti robbery units. As a people we are power drunk and get rich quick is a factor in our everyday living. For me, this is not victory. There are no saints and angels anywhere in our nation. We like to oppress and intimidate others given the opportunity.Between now and when the next anti robbery unit is constituted what happens ?

  18. Stage 1: Victory
    Stage 2: loading...

    ReplyDelete
  19. Victory for Nigerians.. BUT we shouldbbe careful, they MIGHT become the armed robbers @ night because no more money for them Prayers for Nigeria. SIGH!

    ReplyDelete
  20. No victory in this
I would have called it victory if we have good governance, security and decent economy. If Nigeria was a developed world, i will call it victory but this, i disagree.

    Crime will skyrocket
Armed robbery will go up and God forbid you call the police for rescue. These SARS will be rebranded with another name. We need police reform. Total police reform. We need good governance in Nigeria. Good leadership should be paramount. A vibrant economy that is suitable for all to thrive including entrepreneurs. We need good justice system that is fair and unbiased. Its not time to rejoice yet.

People living in areas prone to robbery will not sleep well again. Some people will use this opportunity to start their unholy night trade.

It's a start but is it enough?
    Is that all we want?
