    2. And when I don't put my country down ASSU will automatically end their strike, we'll have electricity so small businesses won't spend all their profit buying high cost of fuel?
If I praise my country, your president will stop getting more loans,we can all sleep with eyes closed without fear of being robbed?
Oh dear!!! My country is great!!! Now I won't have to wait a long queue at a government hospital waiting for one doctor to attend to over a hundred people. Who did we offend?

  6. In my opinion,No matter how bad the country is, ridiculing Nigeria is not the solution, the question is the young lady in the trash bin hiw haw she contributed in making Nigeria a better place. Pls LETS BE THE CHANGE WE WANT TO SEE IN THIS COUNTRY.

    1. Which change she wan contribute when you do not even have the opportunity to be somebody in your own country. The only people celebrating Nigeria of today are those benefiting.80 percent are without job,so what is there to celebrate

    2. The way you people keep saying contribute to your country, it irks me. We dig our oen water, create our own employment, hire vigilante for security, waste momey on fuel and generator to get power and after everything we will still pay tax to the country that has never done shit for us. What more so you want us to do for this country? What stupid change do you want us to be? What do you want the civilians to do? Even ordinary peaceful protest they will shoot at us and fire tiregas at us. Reporters that have spoken up against the corruption are being killed, if they are lucky, jailed. Kindly explain to us the kind of change you want us the civilians to be?

  10. I beg to differ with the post o. He who wears the shoes knows where it pinches. In as much as we should do our best both as a government and as individuals to launder our international image, every now and then we should as citizens be able to remind the government of the harsh reality faced by the common man on the streets. The government needs to know that people aren't smiling abeg.

    2. @Nikola we have seen the rich you eating and living in the palace built on the blood and tears of the ordinary Nigerian. Go on and mock us since its obvious you are part of the few that benefit from the corruption and ills of this administration. Go ahead, call us names and blame victims for not soaking up their sufferings and frustration in perfume to suit your senses.

If there were better ways out of this, the Nigerian youth would take it.

    3. Sapphire, I am not in the corridors of power. I am a retired civil servant , l served this country with sincerity. I am not happy about where we are today but there are youths out there who are courageous enough to use their God given talent to create businesses that are doing well. All humans were created with different talents, some dwell in complaining all year round without looking inward. Rich? Well thank God for the gift of life. There are better ways, there will always be better ways. Having the insight to see opportunities when they come is the greatest problem of most people.

  22. What is miseducation here? Does Dubai live in Nigeria and know what it's citizens are passing through? That pics up there is the true representation of Nigeria whether you agree or not

  23. I see two separate issues here.

The woman's photograph is a work of art. And art depends on the perspective of the artist.

The owners of the Burj khalifa are celebrating with their Nigerian customers.
