  2. Men be careful. Don't fall for this scam. This was how I saw a lady I was chyking then on Facebook without makeup on her whatsapp DP. My only crime was asking who the person on her DP was. I was blocked. But why???

  3. NAH
they're two different people , don't wanna believe it's the same person .

This reminds me of a story my sister told me , her colleague complained to her that the makeover she had on her wedding day caused her inlaws not to recognise her ,
They kept arguing that she wasn't the one !! Even the groom didn't recognise her , she was so embarrassed 😳.

    1. Lol....oh Lord!

I have nothing against using cosmetics but I only use makeup on very special occasions. I spend so much on my skin and my grooming that I can't bear covering my results with makeup. I'm so vain.🤣

    2. Kami lmao I keep saying this to my sister and she thinks I'm vain!!
I cannot have makeup covering my results 😫
But yeah I wear makeup once in a while I wore makeup last week Friday for the first time in 3 months lol.
I love makeup especially when it's mildly done , makeup is just an enhancer not a changer.
This pic up there is Yahoo makeup 🤣🤣🤣🤣

      Im telling you.
I still remember the make up done on me for my sister's wedding. I couldn't recognise myself. I was so uncomfortable. Although the result in pictures was top notch wont even lie. But in reality it was too much. Too much contouring.
this picture up there im very certain its filtered, in reality it won't be this lit.

    4. Lmao @ Convince me
These makeup artists use a lot of filter as well .
I had that experience at my friend's wedding , my sister said I must get my wedding makeup done myself 🤣🤣🤣

This reminds of the first day I had professional make up done on me. It was a friend that need a poster face for her studio. The girl completely changed my face that people didn't even recognize me again. Once the whole layers of make up is taken off,you become a new person. I can't live like that abeg

  5. Hmmmm. Stella, it's the same person o. Make up is not meant to change your entire face, just enhance it a little.

  6. not the same person joo. the nostrils of the woman without make up is wider than the one of the lady with makeup. their forehead is different as well. they should stop with this make-up stories biko.

    1. I think it's the same person, but they also photoshopped and filtered the hell out of the other pics.

    2. That's the power of contouring.
Tho I dobt like makeup changing ones face entirely. I will rather s little enhancement here n there.

    4. Please take good note of this post from the point he said "INSTEAD"
1 Peter 3:3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.

  13. Stella don't believe this makeup artist oh,they will use normal phone camera and snap you then after the make-up,they will edit, filter and Photoshop the living daylight out of the picture so people will think that their work is the baddest.

  15. This pictures can make this woman suicidal. I really feel bad for her.

  16. I really do not like when people do this. Some of these ppl want to feel pretty even for a day and then the internet turns them into jokes, prayer points and meme.

    It’s so unfair

    1. You are right however this is an overly edited picture. Yes she wants to look pretty for a day quite alright, but trust me the make up artist knows this would cause an uproar online, hence why she posted both before and after picture. She knows this.
When I had such makeover, I seriously warned the make up artist not to try this before and after nonsense.

  17. In 2020, it is very difficult to tell who is truly talented at being a make-up artist, and who is just great at filtering and photoshopping! So many of these make-up artists, heavily edit their clients pictures, and the final look(s) they post on their IG pages looks nothing like the actual work they did.

    1. So true! My neighbour that claims to be a professional MUA, made me up I wish I could share the photo here!!!! God!!!! The worst part she didn’t see anything wrong ... and was busy saying use Snapchat filter you will appreciate it... I asked her, how about when I want to go outside?????

    2. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 @Use Snapchat filter
Lmao that MUA is a yahoo yahoo 🤣🤣🤣

  18. To me the makeup was moderately done. All her features are still there. If you saw the un-retouched photo or video or you saw her real life you will know
This is just light effect and filters.
Even most you see on Instagram, its lighting and editing that makes the pictures look the way they do.

  19. No scam. Everyone has the right to move around in the world with dignity and not having to explain why they have skin issues. If makeup can give back to women their self confidence and pride then let them be.

  21. Make up is supposed to be used lightly not in gallons of paint. Foundation comes in over 20 shades so you pick the one close to your skin tone. The idea is not to use a Caucasian foundation on Lupitha’s skin. Concealers, highlighters etc are meant for light use. Next time you visit a Macy’s or Nordstrom, ask the girls to make up for you. They will show you how to use it.

The paints do not allow your real skin to “breathe”. They clog the pores and over time especially if you don’t identify the right brand for you, your face will be discolored! The most important thing for your skin is a good cleanser, a good serum depending on your age, and a good moisturizer.

Too much make up clogs your pores and can be medically dangerous but to each his own! I put on mild make up but have fresh skin because of anti wrinkle serum plus moisturizer and at my age most think I’m a decade younger till I show them my family pics on my phone, then they assume I married very early which isn’t true. I cannot paint my face, I love my skin with minimal make up. That’s why the oohs and aahs under Instagram posts are amusing. I don’t know how naijas do their photoshopping! We are experts!
They posted a birthday party and were exposed so they quickly sent the photoshopped ones. Who are they deceiving but themselves? I hope the men are not so easily fooled. These folks look nothing like they look on SM!
