  CHRONICLES OF MELODY THE RUNS-GEH

After I gave my life to Christ Jesus, I decided I would join a service unit in the church, I joined the sanctuary keepers, I would wake up in the morning, after my morning chores in the house, I would rush down to the church and clean up the church after the covenant hour of Prayers.....

One day after the Sunday service the pastor called me into his office and we had a serious conversation, after the conversation, he asked me how I would want the church to assist me, I said that all I needed was for them to follow me to my house and beg my parents, then the church was preparing for the yearly meeting (Shiloh)::......

The pastor promised me that after the Shiloh, that we would visit my parents and immediately after the Shiloh, they followed me home to see my parents and my parents were crying like babies, I saw the pain I left in their eyes, I saw their disappointments....

my Mom was broken, she least expected it from me, I kept begging, I knelt down and was pleading, the pastor, his wife and 2 other elders that came home with us, we begged till they agreed, they called in my whole siblings, I begged them too, it was a big family reunion....

Immediately the light of God entered my family, suitors started coming for my two sisters at once, hmmmm I later got a teaching job at the church's school and that was where I met "HIM"...
to be continued......

TEEJAYS CORNER

Those days as a young school boy, the national anthem was a thing of delight to us as we echoed those words in all seriousness, sincerity and meant every bit of it from the depth of our heart. The lyrics are strongly worded showing how patriotically of a people we were and meant to be. You dare not walk around when the anthem is being sang. This was the respect we had as a people those days for our nation. I don't know if that is still the case today.

Few days ago, I decided to go through those wordings again that formed the national anthem after a very long time. At the very last sentence that reads, "One Nation bound in freedom, peace and unity." I became so emotional. I was lost in deep thought as I began to picture the Nigerian state. So many wrongs in the country today and I asked, at what point did we got it wrong? So many questions beckon for an answers and may truly never be answered.

Where is the Nigerian unity? Have we ever be united as a people? Is the national anthem a deception of whom we are? Why has peace elude us? There's no peace as we are being threatened by wave of insurgency, banditry and kidnapping. Our roads are no longer safe for traveling. We live in constant fear and mercy of this daredevil.

So many unresolved issues about the Nigerian state hovers around us that need to be addressed. You don't claim to have moved on whereas you never did in the right sense of it. Unresolved issues always have a way of haunting us by becoming a reoccurring event.

How can we be proud of the country we found ourselves where nepotism reign supreme? Can we still pledge our faithfulness and loyalty to a country that massacred her own citizens holding her flag, a symbol of its sovereignty, singing her anthem? Bad enough, doing everything humanly possible to suppress it and arrest voice of dissent?

How do we serve our father's land with strength and might in the midst of abject poverty, starvation, unemployment, business strangulation, academical frustration and finally military/police brutality?

Oh Nigeria! How the mighty has fallen. The once pride of Africa swiftly drifting into becoming a failed state.

LOL,Nigerian problems too plenty Teejay.....just pretend you are not a Naija and you will be fine..

Having discovered your call, and getting acquainted with your calling and personality, you should be careful not to walk in a spiritual office that isn't primarily yours!!.... Truth be told, you shouldn't have as a mentor/tutor one is doesn't walk OR have a vast knowledge in the spiritual office that GOD has called you into(any one you take as a mentor has to fit in it one of such position). This is a subtle area where many believers miss it in life/destiny/ministry πŸ˜₯.... So because you saw the young man operating so fluently in the Prophetic Office and you were awe-struck by how much power and authority he wielded and the depth of knowledge he seemed to have, you automatically decided he would be your mentorπŸ™„.. you that have been called to be an administrator!!.
Please you shouldn't take as a mentor one who isn't necessarily in the office/area GOD has called you into, unless by the help of the Spirit such an individual has grown to have access into a vast Spiritual knowledge and has enough balance to tutor in any capacity πŸ€”πŸ€”. This is why many people have unconsciously abandon growth in their own Calling and are trying to walk in the call of a mentor, role model, spiritual father etc!!....No matter how sincere and loving your mentor might be in trying to help you grow,he is only likely to feed you with what he hasπŸ€” and thus if he's not careful might personalise GOD's dealings with him and the peculiarities of his office on you as a criteria for your own spiritual growth!!
You must know that aside the personal training (as many call it ''paying the price")which an individual deliberately engages in inorder to gain spiritual growth and elevation, each OFFICE has it's own Do's,Don'ts,Grace, spiritual requirements etc that are peculiar to it!! The level of personal consecration, likely encounters accessible in Prophetic office and required for those Called into the office of a prophet, isn't necessarily the same required for those Called into the office of a teacher and vice versa.πŸ€”
That that man you saw who is operating in the apostlic office, told you how he had to pray five hours a day for two years, doesn't mean you too have to follow the same pattern....such Grace and spiritual consecration might likely be as a result/for the purpose of the office or call which GOD has placed him inπŸ€”. That that person called into the office of a teacher told you how he studies the bible for two hours daily, doesn't mean you as an apostle has to automatically follow that pattern, you might get tired after 30minsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.
You must know and become familiar with the Carriage Required for your office/Call!!
    May GOD help us allπŸ™πŸ™

  12. I have this really close casual friend, like he literally gist me everything whenever he calls or visits and I'm a good listener. I remember the night he lost his ex girlfriend to death. That hit was tough, cos they were almost there. He called and couldn't even talk, he was just crying. If you see this guy outside you won't ever believe he can cry in front of anyone.

Months later he got himself a new girl. A huge relief cos at some point my guy turn me to counselor without pay πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. I remember when she first visited him to spend the weekend, he called the next day and gave me gist on how it all went down. How he tried putting it in but it was really difficult. In other words his new babe was still a Virgin. My guy said "Girl i don't want to ruin this one this time till I make her mine"

Today, they're married and he's the happiest and I'm feeling like a proud mummy to two adults that are older than me. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

We're in that season again, end of the year get-togethers with family, friends and loved ones.

Is it too early to say Compliments of the season lol. 😘😘😘
